An old brewery turned into a nice hotel with a nice garden.
Room was extremely cold, radiator in the room provided heat but was not enough to warm up. Wifi connection was horrible as you get further away from the main entrance. No dinner service and no restaurants around.
Beds are really comfortable. Blinds are excellent and rooms are really clean. We stayed in the luxury suite. Location is great if you need to attend an event in château de la Rocq but you will need a car as this hotel is ina very small village
It would have been nice to have some tea bags or coffee in the kitchen as we arrived 9 pm and nothing was opened. You will need to pay for an extra bed for your little one. Breakfast is lovely and good value but could be excellent if the made fresh coffee and fresh orange juice. The warm water takes time to appear from taps and room can be a bit cold even in august.
The apartment was very well set out and very comfortable, beds especially comfy.
There was no kettle or toaster, which was a big minus point, as English people do love their cup of tea and toast in the mornings!
A very nice place on the countryside
We couldn't connect to the wi-fi from our room.
No restaurant for the guests
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice for an extended stay (1 week plus). The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to cook meals. The bathroom plus an extra tiolet was a nice feature with two teenage children along. A very nice experience.
Wonderful hotel, it felt very personal. Free breakfast was good also. The owner is very friendly.
Not even a sandwich available for late arrivals.
The countryside is lovely: open fields, nice and old towns, peaceful channels, medieval houses and castles. We stayed at the beautifully refurbished mansion nearby, a bit more expensive and remote, but if you like old buildings (18C) it is truly a hidden gem!
Be aware that what looks like being an oven is a microwave device in reality. Attitude of some of the staff members, so if you have an issue then invest time finding the right person who can and is willing to help. Also the fireplace wasn't operational and they didn't help us at all in this respect, so after a few hours of trying various methods we had to give up on enjoying the pleasure of open fire.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious
No Kettle, in the apartment. No TV in the lounge area
The room was to my expectations. It was living area downstairs and sleeping upstairs with breakfast included. As this was cheaper than a single room with no breakfast, this was a bargain !The area was really to my taste and there was a beautiful house by the river.
The breakfast was very basic. The service seemed to consist of two guys who were very pleasant but did not seem to be very gregarious.I felt very lonely at breakfast !
The food was really good, I love the aperitifs. Some of the staffs were very friendly. We haven't use other facilities so can't tell.
The room was beautiful but the floor has nail stick out so be careful when you walk. I've been caught 2-3 times to walk from bed to the bathroom. Breakfast included to the room price but no one told us so we didn't come down to take it.
