Beautifull small village in a very nice location. The castle offers a nice experience and you can have good food in Dinant. There are a lot of short excursions you can have starting from Dinant. A very nice destination for a short vacation.

went for a weekend to explore, beautiful place. the one ticket that includes the cable car, tour of the citadel and then the boat trip is a bargain, next time Ill choose the 2hr boat trip instead of the 45 minutes, so relaxing. lots of resteraunts to choose from although it pays to book ahead in the evenings. the town itself is very clean and tidy, no rubbish anywhere.CLIVE FORDUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

The covered parking (private garage with an electric roller-shutter door) was really helpful to us as we had an SUV with a roof-box and the vehicle fitted in to the garage easily. Good communications from the owner and a very nice apartment. Note: The stairs are steep so someone with mobility issues may have problems - suggest you discuss with owner if this could be a concern. Dinant is well worth a visit (birth place of the inventor of the saxophone).

Janvier evan took us with the car to the Dinant Cave. We didn't know that we will be staying with the host. This didn't bother us, it was an opportunity to have a talk with a local about the life in Belgium. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped and what is very important to us, that it was quiet. We had a great time, we liked the place.

The host was super welcoming and friendly and gave great advice about walks to do, things to see and places to eat. The host served nice coffee and fresh juice for breakfast. A huge bonus is the fact that the hotel is dog friendly. I will definitely stay there again.
