Location. Good value. Personnel attendance.
Close by the station and the centre of Mons, good price, room was clean and relatively quiet.
Neighborhood is a bit unpleasant (but Mons being so small, it's only a short walk to get into the centre); some noise from the staircase and doors of other rooms (but calmer than larger hotels); TV but no remote control to be found; reception area was a bit improvised (works going on in the restaurant linked to it) and the hallways could do with better lighting and a makeover. Considering the price, no major issues.
Central location near railway station Clean comfortable bed good wifi
Receptionist was smoking a cigarette when I arrived The restaurant was closed due to a major refit which meant no evening meal or breakfast I wish I had known this when I booked
facing the train station with a few bars and restaurants right beside it. Short walk into centre of town. Hotel was spotless clean.
Very basic for the price
The rooms have been renovated. There was no problem in checking in as a gay couple. The hotel is not far away from the SNCB Belgian Railway Station.
It is difficult to get a room with balcony.
Nice atmosphere Friendly staff
No fridge No tea/coffe making facilities
Location near Station
Location was a poorer part of town, Rooms were very hot and claustrophobic. Despite my booking stating Breakfast available for extra 8 Euros when we came down we were told they had no breakfast for us. After an Elderly Guest intervened who spoke both English and French, they asked us to come back in twenty minutes. Breakfast was then provided. Area around hotel at night was a bit seedy and I would not have liked to walk around on my own, however the centre tourist areas were only a 15 minute walk away.
Friendly staff. Excellent location for access to buses and to tourist attractions. Good restaurant attached.
Relocation of railway station which meant longer walk to hotel.
The location is great. Next to the train station. Rooms are clean and on the plaza out front they have a farmers market on weekends.
There was no air conditioning and lots of stairs.
I asked for a room in the back and indeed it was very quiet. Good location right in front of the Place Leopold II with the bus depot right there. Short walkmto the Grand Place for eating or shopping.
No elevator but that is to be expected I suppose because it is an old building. Reception is in the pizzeria which was awkward at times. Floor was slanted which took some getting used to.
Comfy bed, Clean, Helpful staff.
Nice and clean room; convenient position (close to the train station and to the center); kind staffs; free wi-fi;
Maybe the price of breakfast is convenient with respect to a coffee shop, but in my opinion it is expensive considering what it's offered to eat usually in other hotels
room was clean.
When we arrived it wasn't obvious where the hotel was. Admittedly, we were tired but we didn't see any sign saying "Hotel terminus" just "hotel" on the door; it's above the Lepold restaurant. The next day we saw the 3 ft high sign on the second floor which is not obvious when standing on the pavement a few feet from the front door. Subsequent check on google street view shows a canopy with the name on. Don't recall seeing it though.
Reasonably comfortable room
1. Difficult to find as the name is not on the premises! 2. Entrance to hotel is through the bar/dining area. 3. No parking. In fact this is a major disadvantage. 4. No lift and narrow steep stairs. 5. Noisy from the bus and rail terminus. 6. Price when booked did not include breakfast. Despite the 'madame' saying on my arrival that b'fast next day was 'compris'/included. It wasn't and I paid an additional 16 Euros. If I had known I would have taken a coffee somewhere else.
Very clean. Great breakfast for a fee. Huge room. Very accommodating.
The staff know little to no English which makes any communication nearly impossible. I had to change my reservation arrival and didn't want my reservation cancelled and basically could not reach someone to contact for two days.
Close to the centre of Mons. Friendly staff and close to the transport systems. The restaurant also provided good lunch and evening meals at a reasonable price.
The breakfast choice was limited and not worth the daily cost of eight Euros, but adequate enough in quantity. The location was also fairly noisy until late at night. The reception area could be better and there is no lift.
Lovely friendly people, very obliging, excellent room overlooking the front where the bikes were parked. It is just a short walk to all the attractions of the old city, and best of all, the Italian menu is fantastic, and great value. Thank you for a very nice stay!
There is nothing to dislike. I worried that being close to the bust station would be noisy, but it was not at all.
room was clean, basics were there, good bed
there was a strange (sewer-like) odor in the bathroom, probably some problem with the plumbing
The fact it is not clear where it is with no outside sign. Little English as french is the main language.
Very friendly staff. Clean, spacy room. Good bed. Good bathroom. Quiet despite of the busy station square. Good breakfast.
A bit worn out stairs and passage, but this is totally compensated by the good room.
Location in the center of the city.
The restaurant is open early (6am) which is fantastic if you're on business and have to leave early. The ladies at the reception are very helpful. The hotel is very clean. The room has desk & chair, so you can properly use the laptop.
Pleasent stay in this clean hotel.
To expencive for such small city and limited service.
Restaurant was good. Location was walking distance to the Grande Place. Public transportation was close by.
Never got the TV to work.
