Location, historical features, comfortable bed, wi-fi internet included (this is very important these days), easy to get to from station, Quiet, Unobtrusive, Very nice not to be overwhelmed by door staff on arrival. Nothing in the kitchen - no cups, glasses, bowls, cutlery, anything! The shower leaked quite noticeably leading to water damage of the tiles and door. |

The location in city center next to the Gaar Centraal and Grand Place is excelent. The atmosphere is very peacefull and unique. Service is good. The price is a bit high, room heating can be better. |

This Hotel is a hidden jewel in the heart of Brussels. My first time in this Hotel, and if the price is right it won't be my last. Hassle free check in, my key was already waiting for me. Beautiful split level room with jacuzzi. |

Beautiful building, amazing location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious - we stayed in the Somville. Room was expensive, with no amenities - breakfast not included, no gym, use of wi-fi was an additional charge. Our suite had a full kitchen, with a kettle, refrigerator, stovetop, and dishwasher, but it was not stocked with china/flatware, or even some tea. |

Marvelous location, beautiful room decoration, spacious room, exquisite bed and bath linens. After exiting the elevator, I had to climb a flight of stairs. The stairs were dark and the entrance to my room was in total darkness. I had to feel to find the key slot. I mentioned this to the desk clerk, but nothing was done. I found this a little frightening. |

Very characteristic and descrete atmosphere. Very quite despite its central location. there was no kettle and coffe utilities in the room. The payment for Internet connection is not fare as the hotel is already a little bit expensive. |

I particvularly enjoyed the size of the suite.....VERY Large by most European standards. I also liked the historical ambience of both the rooms and public areas of the hotel. I thought some of the upholstered furntiuture in the suite (the "Rubens") was a little worn and somewhat on the shabby side....Two chairs were missing slip covers and the living room sofa was both stained and torn. The bed was also obviously old and not overly comfortable. The mattress should definitely be replaced. |

The hotel was the best part of Brussels and the restaurant we went to for dinner (Bij den Boer). It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was lovely. |

We stayed in one of the superior rooms and the setting was indeed very nice. Interesting hotel for people looking for historic, luxury rooms. Our room was Navez (1st floor, street side). We had a bad (saturday to sunday ) night due to the noise on the street. |

The location can't be beat - across the street from Central Station, and ten minutes' walk to the Grand Place, Beaux Arts, all kinds of restaurants. Very clean and classy, feels small and intimate. Staff very helpful. A beautiful courtyard separates the entry from the rooms so it doesn't feel like you're right on the street. I don't know if there were any rooms that don't require walking up and down at least a few steps. There might be towards the front. Worth inquiring if you cannot walk up any stairs. |
