The quality of service and the warmth of the staff (at Reception & in the Bar especially) was both surprising and very pleasant. My wife and I were very impressed. No instructions for how to access the in-room refreshment service |

The Price 100 e per night. The location . The cost of parking, 25 E per night in the open air. No security while the car is parked. They may have cameras watching the cars but no crime prevention. The car was not secured in garage with controlled entry. The cost of using the internet in my room. It may free in the lobby but that is not the point. They wanted to charge me to use my own lap top in my room. 10 E for 2 hrs, The cost of Breakfast 19 E for continental and 30 for a full English. Check out the prices of breakfast in bars and cafes in town. The bar was very nice but again too expensive for what it has to offer. Not a tip top establishment. The surroundings are elegant but it lacks the chic feeling one should get when paying top dollar. The drinks are far too expensive for the surroundings. You are left with the impression that the company wants to just take your money and not provide a first class service. About the room, my wife has just reminded me that there was a lack of wardrobe space but above all she really disliked the room s aggressive masculine decor with its dark mixture of dark brown wood wall ,dark grey carpets and acid tomato red chairs and curtains. The side tables are minuscule stools , barely big enough for a lamp and too low for that lamp to cast light over a book .There is no space for the usual , books ,reading glasses , bottle of water , a glass , the television command etc.. The lack of door between the toilet and the bathroom is quite unpleasant and definitely unacceptable .A real bathroom , with the French touch should of course also have a bidet ,behind the door of the toilet , of course ! |

We arrived quite late (22:30), and asked if there was any food available. Reception said there was bar food - but when we went into the bar we were told no. Simply a breakdown in communication - but having left coats etc in the room, it meant we had to trail back upstairs in order to go out to find something to eat. Just a minor problem in an otherwise pleasant weekend. |

It is very close to the Brussels central station; just outside the hotel ~ 2min walking. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. There was limited supply of toiletries: only shampoo, shower gel and lotion is provided. |

The location of the hotel is impossible to beat. It is steps away from the Brussels Central train station and a block or so from the Grand Place. Public transportation is not necessary to take in the sights of Brussels from the hotel. Everything was walkable. The staff was very friendly and the concierge provided some great information. The renovated room was spacious by European standards and very clean. |

Everything was great. Most of all the staff was amazing and assisted me with all my questions and needs. The only quetionable issue I had was that when I showed up they had thought my reservation was for October 2010 and it was actually for January 2010. This was corrected immediatly and I was happy I had all my confirmation paperwork just in case. Staff was great about this though - computer glitch. |

Very, very comfortable. Expensive and confusing wifi arrangements, but the free business center largely made up for this. And building work might be a problem, although I was there at the weekend and wasn't disturbed at all. |

Close to city center and we could see new year fireworks from our room. Room charge is not so cheap but worth to pay for this luxury atomosphere. Surrounding are is under construction. |

The hotel was nice - clean, good service, The blocked amount for one day exceeded the room rate, I was told it would be 100 Euro, instead the hotel reserved twice as much. It is better to know right away where you stand. |

The Reception staff were very good. The room was quite spacious and had everything required for a stay at the hotel, e.g. coffee/tea making facilities, iron and ironboard. It is a very central location and close to all the attractions and sights. |

The location of the hotel is really central and convenient and within walking distance to most places of interest. The bed was really comfortable and provided a good rest. As my family stayed in 2 different rooms during this visit. We noted that the amenities in the rooms were different. In one room, they were not replenished daily. In addition bottled water and tea bags was not provided in the rooms. These are typically standard amenities in other hotels. |
