Great central location. Within walking distance of all major sites including Grand-Place and Royal Palace. Luxury hotel. Lovely large room. Quiet. Tasteful. Central Station thirty second walk away with Starbucks inside there for a quick coffee and croissant at a fraction of breakfast cost in hotel. Try dinner at nearby Belga Queen which is in an old converted bank with very high vaulted stained glass ceilings with fantastic gourmet food. Found room air stuffy. Could not get a/c to cool down properly in July. Loved separate stall shower but where the two glass panels joined there was a gap and water leaked on floor. If taking Eurostar it terminates at Brussels-Midi train station, not Central Station. You must take a 15 Euro cab ride from Brussels-Midi Station to get to the hotel, or take a train from Brussels-Midi to Central Station which likely costs as much as the taxi, so take the taxi which is easier.

Excellent location, just a few steps away from the grand square of Brussels. Also, the central station is in front of the hotel, a fact that was very convenient for us that had to take the train to go to the airport. The rooms were huge and well equipped. Cost of Internet unreasonably expensive, about 20 euro per day I remember. Also there was not available wi-fi in the lobby of the hotel. I think this is unacceptable for a five star hotel, this is a service that almost everyone provides.

Excellent location in Brussels, and we were given a room with a terrific view. This close to Christmas, we were overlooking some of the Christmas markets and were able to see part of the light display on the Town Hall. When we arrived at the restaurant towards the end of the breakfast service there was very little food left on the buffet tables.

The location of the hotel was perfect as it's next to the Grand Place. In addition the staff as they are so polite.. The bathroom sink was clogged so I ask them to fix it right away, in addition to the fact that you don't have enough choices in the television channels specially if you're looking to watch a football match in the champion league!!

Hotel is directly across from the Main Central Brussels Railway Station, very close to all attractions. I ordered room service twice, for dinner. The food is what a 5 Star Michelin should be ! The Filet of Sole is delicious then 2nd night I had the Duck Pate. This Hotel employs a very excellent chef and the food was superb. I ordered a pay per view movie, 15 Euro, and a few minutes into the movie, the whole tv shut off. I complained 4 or 5 times, that the tv was not working. The following day, they would not change my room and assured me it would be fixed but was not. Upon Check out, the movie charge had not been removed. I complained to Le Meridien Corporate and was contacted by a Hotel Manager who was very sorry for the tv situation and the poor customer service. They refunded me 150 Euro's after my check out had been completed several days earlier. Bravo for a hotel that cares enough to apologize when they made an error and refund 1 nights room charge. I will stay at this Hotel again. I trust the errors in Customer Service were addressed.

The location was great and the staff was very nice and helpful. They had problems with their media system throughout my stay and the fitness center was not accessible the last two days of my stay.

Excellent location. It seems like 4 stars hotel. The standard room is not comfortable and it’s quite small, the furniture is old. The breakfast is too expensive. No free Internet. No slippers, very uncomfortable pillows, no spa, no swimming pool. The staff was nice but when we had a problem they didn't try to do anything to solve it. We asked for parking and they wanted 25 euros per night and next to the parking garage it costs us only 15 euros. The hotel was locked at night (01:00 A.M.) and we couldn’t go inside….. The hotel was not looking for a 5 star.

I choose this hotel mainly for the close to central train station but I regret that I should have chosen Novotel just next door. Novotel is cheaper and nicer. Its rated 5 stars but not even 4 stars in many ways. Old furniture, smell room and creepy hallway. It is not updated. I do not feel its 5 star hotel at all. Only good thing about this hotel is its location which is right across train station.

The location was excellent. Its just across the Central Station and the main city attractions. In fact I arrived close to midnight and was still able to go to a few sites at night and grab a sandwitch. I stayed in the refurbished part of the hotel and the rooms are quite modern and good. There was an offer for 24 hrs movie at a nominal rate which was also good though I did not use it as I was inly staying there for a night for transit.

Location and a big bedroom This hotel does not warrant 4 stars! - the staff were unfriendly, with the exception of few, total lack of information in rooms, we stayed over new year and there was no flexibility ie bar service, late breakfast - in fact new years day there was no breakfast left by 10.15 when service finished at 10.30, Basically this hotel does not provide a four star service and would not stay there again.
