attidute does not come from total customer service aspect

It was good compared to other Brussels Hotels

They draw the payment from my Credit Card earlier that they should, it was 10 days before my stay and it was not just reseving the amount. My booking was that I will confirm the payment on my arraival.

My room was very comfortable and pleasant.

The front entrance is anonymous and uninviting and there were no door staff to help with luggage. Taxis cannot get close to the front entrance. Front desk staff were generally disorganized and the Concierge did not know of a major exhibition - the Brussels Art Fair - that was on during my stay. Worst thing: despite the room service menu saying that there was a 24 hour service (albeit limited to a few dishes) - in fact now there is no room service at all between 2am and 7pm. For anyone who is out of their normal timezone and is hungry in the early morning, this is hopeless. Not what I'd expect from a 5 star hotel.

Excellent location.

The room was nice but very warm & the air con didn't seem to do much and the window didn't open.

The location is perfect, just in front of the entrance of Central Station and 5 min. walk to Grand Place. The views from our window over Plaza de España and the friendship of staff.

I found a great and unusual offer at booking.com for this 5* hotel, but the bedroom pictures they offered at the website didn’t correspond at all with the bedroom we received. When we arrived they told us they are renewing the hotel. Our bedroom was old fashioned and not very comfortable room. I would say it was an old 3* hotel room. Dirty carpet, not very big bed, not very big room, hotel hair-dryer didn’t switch on the bathroom plug, so I had to dry my hair near the TV. There’s not free wi-fi, slippers only on demand and dirty/old bath curtain. Definitively not a 5* hotel at all. It is better to take the Novotel or Ibis 3*/4* hotels near Grand Place. The current normal fare for the room we had was 450€/night!! I wouldn’t have paid more than the 100€ we paid

The WiFi was not included in the room charge!!! viewing TV film needed extra cost!!!

The location and luxury

Excellent breakfast and the room was very nice. Staff in the bar and the breakfast-restaurant gave good service! Nice fireplace in the bar!

Beds were too soft for me, but thats my liking
