Hotel Leo At Home  

I was a lone traveler and booked a single room with single bed, but on checkin the host upgraded my room and I was not charged. Originally I was only going to stay the one night but my plans changed and I stayed the whole week. I remained in the upgraded room and was only charged the single rate room for the week. I do believe this was due to it being off season but none the same the gesture was appreciated.

My only complaint would have to be the traffic noise. I was on the second floor with the main street right outside the window.

Friendly, helpful staff, large clean rooms, delicious breakfast.

Could use an emergency contact number for overnight issues.

The gentleman who checked me in spoke French, German and English so we had no problems communicating. Really good breakfast, an enormous room, brilliant location and in close proximity to plenty of nice pubs and restaurants. The Leo restaurant was very tempting and looked beautiful but we were on a budget so had to pass.

No complaints really. You need to go into the Restaurant Leo to check-in and are then brought to the hotel a few metres away but this was not too much of an issue. Parking is on street a short distance away which may be an inconvenience for some, but in return you overlook the town square. There is also no lift which people with disabilities may need to bear in mind.

Hotel was clean, enjoyable and the breakfast was a great value.

Very nice clean beautiful hotel! Friendly staff, spacious..we came with an 8yr old 18month old and a 6 month old.. They even provided a playpen! Get room #2 it has the best view!! Gorgeous! You walk in at the dining area and walk up to the rooms.. Nice European breakfast spread, the babies loved it!!

May be a tad over priced but Id def go again!!

The room was very comfortable. The breakfast selection was good. The location is excellent for those wishing to visit key locations of the 'Battle of the Bulge'. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the 'villa', their third location, which is a family- and dog-friendly three-suite house located a short ten minute walk from town. Brand-new, perfect for a short stay to visit the WWII sites.

- easy to find, town centre location, good parking. - friendly welcome and courteous introduction to locality. - the room was large, spacious, clean, modern, and fulfilled all expectations. - all staff were pleasant and friendly. - the buffet breakfast was quite outstanding and represented very good value. - there are many restaurants, brasseries, cafes and bars within the adjacent town square. In particular, the hotel's own 'Wagon Leo' restaurant is excellent and very good value.

The location is superb. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food on offer - there must be something to suit everyone. Other guests have mentioned the fact that there are no staff on site but I didn't find that an issue, they are contactable by in-house telephone 24 hours and in fact whenever we rang we got an instant response.

terrible location - noisy - smelly room - not a room for seniors as it was on the second floor with a very narrow stairchase - I doubt that a senior could carry luggage up the stairs - there was no help as there was no one available once you paid for the room.

Large and spacious rooms. Right on McAuliffe Square, so very convenient. Also own another hotel and two very good restaurants. A great place to stay.

People might not like that it is situated right on the main street, but this was not a problem. This is a small 'city' and the streets roll up after 7 P.M.

Clean comfortable room in the centre of the town.

Excellent hotel, well placed in town, parking was free at the time of our visit. Clean large room and bathroom. Thanks for good stay.

Both of the shower gel/soap bottles were empty !!!! Not good when so much attention is paid to the rest of the room.

Spacious air-conditioned room, good breakfeast and value-for-money rate.

Mu room was on the top floor which has a sloping roof/ceiling immediately above the bath/shower area. Consequently it was not possible to shower standing up. However, this was no more than a very minor inconvenience.

The welcoming staff, were very helpful. My room was downstairs,with a large bathroom. The hotel is right bang in the main square, next to a huge car park. Breakfast was typical of the area and good.

I could not see how to open the window to get fresh air ( mind you I did not ask either).

Nice place right across from the town square. There are 2 Hotel Leo's however..we stayed in the one off the driveway, not the original one on the main street. Room was clean and large, even by USA standards. No elevator, so keep in mind when having to carry your bags up flights of stairs. Parking was free behind the Leo Wagon restaurant, so that was a plus. We had to go inside the restaurant to find someone who could help us check in, and the English was a little scarce..so speaking French would help. They also want you to prepay, since checkout is simply leaving the place. Good value for a couple of nights. Breakfast was excellent.

Little bit of a hassle checking in.

The location and the breakfast selection was excellant. I also liked that they offered Champagne with breakfast.

There was no clerk on location. All the managers and desk clerks were down the street at the restaurant! The phone in our room did not work, but yet it kept ringing- I finally unplugged it. The Housekeeping staff left cleaning supplies in the hallway in front of our door- and we had a Handicapped room! I walked out and tripped over a mop handle!

Wonderful stay....very clean, rooms spacious, bathroom large and well appointed. Breakfest was excellent and I will stay here next year when I return to Bastogne.

Excellant location and the view of the town square from my room was beautiful. The restaurant next door offered guests 10% off their bill if you told them you were staying at their hotel. Room was great and very clean.

No elevator, but the walk up to room six is only really three floors but a narrow staircase. The view was worth the walk even for a 56 year old.

noise from park to rear from drunken youths in early hours and staff initially tried to get us to pay additional money which we refused.

Wonderful place to stay. If traveling with heavy bags, just be aware there is no elevator. Staff didn't speak English but did all they could to help or find someone that could help - that was so very much appreciated. Wonderful and comfortable rooms, awesome location. Would stay again if given the chance.
