friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice breakfast and free internet on the tv we wanted to see one of the hotel-movies, but had to pay E 7,50 (!!) to view it. So we decided to visit the nearest cinema. It's just far to expensive. And for a 4 star hotel, shouldn't these kind of services be free of charge? |

Having arrived well before the check-in time, we had thought we would only be able to leave our bags. However, the room was ready so we were able to check in. Breakfast very good. |

Quiet and restful. Walking distance from Old City. Although I reserveda non smoking room. the previous occupant had smoked in the room which clearly was noted by the smell in the room. My eyes and head reacts directly on these: red eyes and small head ache during my stay. Why do you have ash tray in a non somking room !!! |

Central location No fridge and high rates for no breakfast unlike similar hotels in Belgium and France where the breakfast was part of the deal. |

We were upgraded to a suite, which was completely unexpected. The room was amazing and there was an excellent choice of channels. Breakfast was also very good. Check out was very slow - only 1 person at the desk at 11am when most people were checking out. |

There is no clear information in the room regarding the contact details to the different services in the hotel. Receptionist did not even know which room was checked out when giving the key card to another customer, quite rediculous. Room supplies are not checked before any new check-ins. Breakfast is rather disappointing as well. The hotel was so-called renovated, maybe only the paints and the toilettes are very filthy and not have been brushed for long. Leopold would not be recommended and booked again in my circle of friends. |

The beds were comfortable and the standard room was of a nice size. Also that there were tea and coffee facilities in the room as well as a small fridge (although dare i say with other facilities at the hotel you do expect something from a 4* hotel) The drinks in the hotel bar was reasonable. the location is described as quiet with a view over a park, which is true, but I chose the hotel for the very quiet hotel and despite that our room was still on to a road with quite a lot of traffic which we could hear fairly easy from the room. Also, I would say the hotel is more than a 3* hotel, but there are no facilities apart from bar and the bigger room so that I would question a little bit. Especially as the glasses in our room were dirty so I had to ask for clean glasses. On the 2nd day we also had to ask housekeeping to come up and supply fresh cups and glasses - they were not that clean. probably just rinsed them under the hot tap in our bathroom. |

Big, well-equipped rooms. Excellent staff. Brilliant breakfasts with fresh food. Good location for city and travel. Perhaps a little noise, but to be expected anywhere in a big city. |

I liked the location, the staff were curteous and friendly. The hotel was modern and comfortable, perfect for a city break. The park opposite was a bonus. |

Very comfortable room, great decor and fittings which belie the slightly shabby exterior. Service was great as far as we needed it. |

The room was extremely comfortable and the staff were polite, cheerful and very helpful. It was conveniently situated to the city centre, being within a 15 min walk of the shopping and diamond district, and had relatively good access to the public transport system. Not particularly, though there were certain points which we felt could be improved upon to reflect its 4* rating. For instance, the room did not contain any information about the hotel facilities or the city in general and the replenishment of supplies in the room tended to rely on requests to Reception. |

The room was very tastefully decorated and very confortable.Breakfast was very decent. The internet connection in our room did not work ( and it was very important for us), and despite several complaints, the hotel staff was nonchalant, and I could spot a hint of patronizing. And because there was a summer promotion and the hotel was very full, the impression I get is that the staff was not prepare to handle the pressure of a full house. I rather pay the full price and get decent service and this was not the case. |

Beds were comfortable The room was facing the street and was very noisy - it's a busy street with traffic even late at night . We asked for another room but they said hotel is booked. Because we could not spleep we checked out at 2:30 am and then they said they have 2 rooms unoccupied!! There was no mineral water in the room as advertised. Bathroom needs renovation and one of the shampoo bottles was only half-full and dirty. |

The location of the hotel was very good. Quite near the trainstation (about 10 minutes walking) In front of the hotel is a park, instead of a crowded shopping street, which is a plus. The room is nice, good airco and free internet. The breakfast was okay, but not very special. If your room is on a lower floor, there's a chance of mosquitos in the room during the summer. |

Simply loved this hotel. A warm welcome by reception where yo immediately know that you have arrived at a luxury hotel in terms of reception area, bar/restaurant area and then of course the beautiful room. The bathroom area was just alright (clean and practical) so I think they could spend a little extra to have this compliment the rest of the decor in the main room. Breakfast area nice enough but the buffet area tight with staff having to sqeeze past to collect dishes / top up buffet. This is is somewhat disconcerting as you feel as if you are in the way (not that the staff make you feel this way). |
