Great friendly staff and in Brugge city!Very festive and nothing was too difficult :-)
I did ask for candle and none were given but I can understand after seeing how busy the hotel was!
Location very convenient.
description said 'view'. street, wall and tree does not constitute a view in my opinion. We accepted the offer of an upgraded room but wish we hadn't. Rooms in main building much better than the annexe.
Really great time hotel is a small family run business so don't expect fancy food or room service but what you do get is excellent value for money and all our party would definitely go back its a great base in a great city happy days indeed
Excellent location, in the heart of Brugge.
The man at the reception was not welcoming. He made our 2 years old kid a huge problem claiming that he has no insurance for the kid since I have not informed him prior to arrival. Even asked me to seek for other alternatives at peak time in Brugge. Anyway, of course he had to accept finally but it was an unpleasant welcome at that time of the day, after having a long journey. The room and also bed was small sized. The stairs was quite narrow and steep. Hence, hard to climb with big suitcases.
Location so central could walk everywhere. Hotel decor lovely. Superior room lovely. Breakfast great choice. Very helpful staff.
Room was a bit chilly!
The hotel is in a really great location. Easy walking distance from the station and all the tourist attractions, but down a quiet road away from the crowds and far enough from the centre to have some reasonably priced eating options! Clean, spacious room, and the owners were really helpful.
We were in Room 1 and we found it very noisy at night. This may just have been due to the other guests being inconsiderate rather than the hotel itself, but worth mentioning! I found the bed a little uncomfortable, but that's just personal preference!
How close the hotel was to the shops and square. The owners are very nice and friendly people, would go back again.
Location Owners were friendly Room was warm and nicely decorated
No tea and coffee facilities in the room
Owner lady is very helpful Nice breakfast Great location
Good breakfast. Choice of good restaurants and shops within minutes walk as is the market square and underground car park.
Our flat was described as Deluxe which we felt was not quite accurate.
Excellent stay and lovely hotel
Central location on a quiet back street. We booked a double room, but got a cosy studio with a small kitchen and seating area.
The breakfast area is very cramped and the breakfast is an usual one (it was nothing special, no warm food). The pillow was hart like a brick and the mattress very soft.
cleanliness - bed sheets full of hair, it looked like it weren't been changed at all.
The host Reg, and his wife were very welcoming and helpful with tips on the area. Complimentary breakfast was very nice. Room was very spacious and comfortable with a bed and small couch. Quite roomy. Nice view from room.
Cannot say anything bad about it. Loved it!
managers wit and attentiveness to my brother in laws sugar requirements and for keeping us informed about the scottish referendum
having to leave
The hotel is very well located right in t'zand square, near the Music Hall, at 10 minutes walk from the train station. You have easy access to the main square and all the lovely streets. The rooms have a sweet romantic touch. The superior double is very good in terms of space, but a simple double is a little bit tiny. Helpfull staff, decent breakfast.
You have to enter the hotel through a back street. This is not a bad point, but they could have figured out a way to enter from the main street. The stairs are very vertical and narrow, no problem for young people, but for seniors it might be uncomfortable.
Great location, right off the main shopping street and about a 5 min walk to the central square and water etc. Easy to find from the train/bus station with the directions the hotel can provide. Hotel is really cute inside, and our window opened into a little internal courtyard. We didn't get up in time for breakfast (to much Belgian Beer) However it looked really nice. The owner/manager could not of been more polite. He went to the trouble of booking our return bus tickets back to the airport and printing these off for us, very helpful and jolly. Would stay there again and will recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay
No bad points at all
The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was quite small but ample and very nicely decorated, very quaint. We loved it here.
Great location and staff were friendly. The room had a little kitchen, dining table & 4 chairs, living area and then up 3 little steps was the bedroom. Double bed and two single. We have a 9 & 11 year old so this was perfect. The bathroom was next to the kitchen. It appeared new and well equipped. We were walking distance to everything. Breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious and ample. Will stay longer next time and have no hesitation staying here.
Our only negative is that they didn't offer free wifi. This made it difficult when a lot of our accommodation was booked via the net. We needed to check online for our next destination and confirm arrival for key pick up and so this made OT difficult. It would be great if they could set up a free wifi account for customers.
Our stay was delightful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was sustaining. Very good value all around, in Bruges one of the treasures of Europe.
The narrow set of stairs up to the room were challenging with luggage.
Cordial helpful hosts, nice breakfast
Easy hotel to get to from the rail station. A quiet location with short walking distance to the town centre with its major attractions. Self catering facilities very good. An excellent buffet breakfast. Will return here to see more of the wonderful historic sights. Highly recommend for those on smaller budget.
Nearly everyone local seems to smoke! Just not used to it anymore.....
This lovely family run hotel is situated right in the centre of beautiful Bruges and just a short walk to all the sights, bars & restaurants. The family apartment is so comfortable and the separate lounge area is perfect for relaxing after a busy day before going out again for dinner. The owners are lovely and the whole experience was fantastic. Superb!!
