not much except the location
very over priced for what it is. there was a strange noise coming from somewhere nearby. the quality of the furniture was terrible, so old fashioned at the end of a long shabby corridor
Lovely choice of breakfast and good quality
Not what we expect of an executive room.
Steamroom wasn't open Expensive breakfast
Nice generous breakfast, staff generally friendly, nice shower.
Repair work is going on in the hotel... I have seen some safety and due care issues with workers using the lifts carrying heavy large objects at night while customers waiting to use the same lifts.
Reality Didn't match the pictures.
Staff were friendly and accommodating; breakfast was pretty good; room a good size; close to the Metro.
Bed was way too soft. Was still able to sleep okay, but the Belgian beer probably made a greater contribution than the quality of the mattress.
Irritating that WiFi not included in room price
I got upgraded to huge apartment with kitchen and two rooms. Very clean and quiet, and great location to get to an early breakfast at the Parliament. Staff were efficient and polite.
Lighting in the room(s) was poor - difficult to read in bed. The wifi was excellent but was not free in the room - not too expensive but still ...
The staff were very friendly and the guy at the desk organised a kettle, cup and teabags for me when I asked if there was anywhere to get some tea
The corridor was not very clean, possibly due to works in the hotel. Fairly small room with little space to do some work. A reasonable basic hotel, but very expensive for what you get. I guess it is the district near the EU parliament
A great family run hotel with attention to detail, the recent refurbishment, has given the rooms a cool elegant feel, the beds and mattresses are of excellent quality, perhaps the best nights rest in brussels I have had , and I have stayed in about 20 hotels over the years..great brasserie restaurant , which was good value too with a wide choice and friendly staff..
only two small things, pillows are of square shape..comfy but perhaps a range of pillows, some a bit thnner.., and in the non execuitive bathrooms , the gap between the glass shower panel and wall for entrance is quite small, you have to walk in sideways..but the shower is excellent with a rain shower and traditional head
Close to metro and directly at EU district, very nice room, price is cheap comparing to other nearby hotels with similar quality. Breakfast is good.
Wifi was not free, street view room was noisy early morning (probably noisy on weekdays)
- location (vicinity of EU institutions), - newly refurbished room, - relatively fair price for a room in Brussels during the week!
- average breakfast, without fresh fruit (several compots available), - poor window insulation (noise, as my room was overlooking the main street),
Location and quiet
Breakfast. 45 mins before end if bfast they advised there was no more fruit, at all. The leak in the orangerie was ugly. The reception staff tried to be friendly though struggled with Dutch, one didn't speak French and twice we were served by someone who actually stated they could not help because it isn't their job.
The place is centraly located, walking distance to nice crowded square and instituations.
The hotel is going through renovations, they have posted note in the elevators. However, I didn't hear anything during the night.
Renovated room was nice
Renovation works were being carried out in room just across corridor starting at 7.30 or so.....
I stayed in the hotel for 3 days. The hotel is on a good location. The staff is pleasant and helpful. My hotel package included the bed and breakfast. I have no objection to the food that was served for breakfast. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
I can not understand that 4-star hotel at the current price it is not able to provide free Internet access. This is a serious objection, and therefore I can not recommend your hotel to potential customers. Also in the bathroom has no clothes hangers and shower - cabin has no shelves for soap, shampoo ...) I think the staff should give more attention to ventilation of rooms. I also have fewer objections to the maintenance of technical systems (audit door in the bathroom for accessing of pipelines and valves were opened and shower inadequately fastened to hose).
location, service, breakfast
a big negative surprise was the charhe of 7,5 € for internet access in your room !!!! that is really opportunistic, given the fact that in this hotel most of the people are businsess travellers, and threrfore internet is needed for most of them.. not good impression AT ALL !!!!
Pleasant staff and good breakfast.
Curtains did not fully close. Dim lighting with no desk lamp making difficult to work on documents or read in bed. One-off lapse in cleaning.
Big, very convenient bed, rain shower, nice room.
It was a bit noisy, as my room was overlooking the main street. City tax was not included, which I didn't know in advance.
Good to reach, lot of EU-businesses in walking distance. Relaxing, nice bar (good wine quality even as an open one), excellent breakfast
Furniture on the way to be old fashioned.
Nice, comfortable room.
Some repairs were ongoing at the time of my stay which caused some noise, until late afternoon.
No special features in the room or the rest of the hotel, like gym or pool.
Location, set up, .
The carpet was probably cleaned with a dirty vacuum cleaner. the consequence was an unpleasant smell..
