Hotel Le Plaza    

Classic Hotel in a perfect locarion in Brussels.

We had a large, comfortable room with a smaller single room off to the side--perfect for a mom and two children. Bathroom had a grand tub. Room was very quiet.

Everything was quite pleasant. The neighborhood is a bit downtrodden, but a 10-minute walk brings you to St. Catherine's Place and a bit further to Grand Place.

The room we were eventually allocated

Originally we were allocated a room at the back of he hotel with a fire escape running past the bathroom window. When I first tried to chane the room at 3.00 pm on Friday I was told that all rooms were fully booked, which obviously wasn't the case from the number of people I observed during my stay

The sympathetic personnel, personal congratulation of the manager of hotel, comfortable number, huge convenient bed, high-quality cleaning of numbers, very convenient arrangement (proximity from the historical center, the subway, the railway station, a supermarket, shopping centers)

Expensive breakfast, there was a problem with printing of boarding passes aboard the plane

Location is just great, and the hotel has a very 'James Bond' feel to it. It's classic and beautiful at the same time, right from the lobby to the breakfast room, just great. Rooms again are a bit dated but it adds to the charm of the rooms and doesn't take anything away. Beds are comfy, beddings/sheets are excellent quality.

Just and only one thing, We reached at 14:00 and were told that room would be ready at 15:00(which is ok) but after sitting in the lobby till 15:20, we had to check with the reception again and then only did they realise that our room was ready! :-)

The cost of the water in the minibar. Mineral water (500cl) = 7 Euros. I think that it has no sense for a 5 star hotel. It should be included in the rate of the room or at least have a reasonable price. We were in the middle of the city, no in the desert! It's just water, I am not complaing about the cost alcohol or other stuff.

Luxury at an affordable cost. Security - key card access to lift and main door after midnight. Quiet & relaxed.

Sometimes the foyer was too quiet and lacked atmosphere

The location of the hotel was fabulous and the room was spacious and comfy. No problems with the hotel at all - would defiantly recommend.

The hotel facilities were really nice.

I specifically asked for a room with twin beds, for two male guests, but yet I had to put up with a double bed !!! Whilst checking in the desk staff was rather "Belgian" towards the customer, which is never pleasant.

The location was really good, very close to the centre and all of the places we were keen to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful also. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. The hotel was also conveniently close to Brussels North Station which was a 20 minute trip to/from the airport.

The hotel itself is very confortable and we found its cost reasonable for what it offers. The staff was kind and hope to saty a little more next time in Brussels.

It was overal a great experience. Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. We stayed as a group of 4 friends just for a weekend away. The staff was friendly and very helpful, we asked for recommendations for restaurants and bars and the person at the reception took almost half hour of his time to suggest several places and mark them all on the map. Many thanks for that! The breakfast is very expensive however so we did not book it, not a problem at all though as there are several places around that serve breakfast / brunch
