Cheap for the area.
There was no hot water, the wifi didn't work, the rooms were dirty, the staff member was rude when i asked for another blanket. There was no duvet on the bed, just a folded sheet (as if the hotel was in a hot country) and when I asked for a blanket I was told there was no way to get it as the cupboard was locked. It was a cold night and a nightmare!
The gross carpet in the room
at 1st glance size of room
soundproof room where you could hear loud music all night heavy traffic all day till late night no television with a different excuse every time asked for reason no lighting over sink at far end of big bathroom only 1 bulb near dooorway only half the lights worked in the room and the corridor light only came on once you had walked into the wall at the end
Nothing. I dont recommend at all. I preferbooking.com To remove it from its listings
Everything. The bed, the cleanness of the room. The location of the hotel. The service is catastrphic
staff near to bus clean the neighborhood area was good for me
it was far from brussel the room became cold at night
Location , break fast , tv not working , all the hotel os very bad
Very dirty carpet dirty blanket was discusting
The location was where we had to be as we were visiting friends and family in the area. The staff were very polite and friendly and the en-suite bedroom very clean, although a little dated.
Although the breakfast was adequate for my wife, it wasn't enough for me and I didn't think it was good value for money. But I must add that it was well served and very fresh.
Bus straight from/to the Gare du Midi Bus from/to the center far 5 min walking Good double glass windows
WiFi weak and often disconnecting Bed unconfortable (double mattress with a slope to the center, you roll in the middle while trying to sleep) Not clean at all (they just don't clean) Smoke smell in the room Shower clogged Found room OPEN while came back in the evening at 10PM Towels never changed or just removed (without being replaced) Receptionist saying "we are not responsible for valuable items and money in the rooms so keep them with you" We came back in the room in the evening and the windows was left wide open from the "cleaning" staff in the morning so it was 8° in the room Toilet has no extractor fan or windows or heating Receptionsts talk to you without watching you in the face, like they're busy doing something more important No invoices received for all: room and city tax
an old hotel who need a restauration.... they did not know what means 3 stars hotel. No light in the bathroom, the ascenseur is old and didn't work well The parking is full of garbage.....
24 hrs reception
very bad smelly dirty rooms
Nice view from my bedroom. so close to the bus stop...
unfriendly reception staff
Booked 2 twin rooms given 1 double when said not acceptable told all that's available breakfast coffee croissant and Orange juice for £8
First, the place is located far away from downtown Brussels and from Midi train station. Once arrived, I learned to my dismay that the management, unbeknownst to me, had moved me to a different, more central hotel, the George V, which belongs to the same owner. I had to beg for the management to cover the taxi ride back to the center of the city. Once arrived, I found a room both noisy and run down. No internet. No phone. The nice and apologetic clerk is the only positive thing I can think of. He is just trying to make it up for a greedy, careless management. Needless to add — a place that one should avoid.
It was really cheap compared to other hotel and hostels. The bathroom was good. The Wifi worked.
The bed was uncomfortable. It is located 2 km from the nearest metro station. There was not a table where write or work a bit.
No breakfast supplied as booking included. Not a sound-proof room as advertised.
-We were told there weren't any double room even though we had book one. -You couldn't see anything in the bathroom because most of the lights were out. -The bathroom smelt really bad so you couldn't leave the door open! -The man on reception wasn't that friendly and argued with me when I told him he had given us the keys to someone elses room (all their stuff was in there including their laptop!) -The breakfast was disgusting! (They seemed to reuse other people's leftovers!) The person bringing the food out coughed over our food.
Everything, dirty room, filthy toilet, insuffecient comfort, uncomfortable bed. The room liooked nothing like what they display on internet or booking.com. It's a disgrace we will never stay here again. If you're thinking of staying here . don't do it!
The hotel and the staff are great!
The unique problem is the distance from the center.
Everything as stated
They withdrew money from my card twice! 10 days gone and still no cancellation. Reception is working couple of hours in the evening. No English speaking personnel
Good price. If you are young and need one night sleep ok.
No air condition in room. Awful carpet. No air ventilation in bathroom. It was very hot in room so we had to open window and out of the window there the restaurant ventilation output.
everything is ok
no hot water
Very nice hotel
Room was big, i paid for 3 persons received a room with 4 beds
I reserved a parking place, i had to pay for it 12 euro but i didnt have my own spot, i just parked inside the parking near a wall, trying not to block other cars. Breakfast is very very small The toilet didnt have a seat just the top.
