friendly owners facilities closeness to motorway and our destination (waterloo)
without satnav, or good directions, very hard to find. had to resort to visiting local police to obtain directions
excellent hosts. went out of their way to help us, calling taxis, giving us lifts to the nearest village, looking up train times for us gorgeous breakfast, freshly brewed tea from real tea leaves, fresh coffee, friendly cats and dogs milling about free beer on arrival! Would definitely stay again
it was all brilliant maybe better pictures on booking.com to show how cosy the rooms are
George and his wife were very welcoming and hospitable. They recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and provided a very warm atmosphere for our short stay. Breakfast was great and the coffee excellent. Thank you both!
Good budget and very friendly owners
- quite environment - owner's friendliness - family type feeling - comfortable room
The service: nothing was too much trouble for our hosts
The owners are great. I enjoyed my dinners especially.
It is not about the hotel, but if you need drive in the direction of Brussels every morning, keep in mind that the traffic is a mess.
Very warm welcome and the Wifi performance is outstanding
For me, a lonely traveller, a quality discussion on any subject is more then enough at breakfast, not to mention at the end of a stressed working day.
The owner, George, was extreemly friendly and co-operative. The room was clean and bed comfortable. I slept well. Also the heating was effective.
Small bathroom & shower had no tray. Shower/shampoo gel would be appreciated (soap only). Alarm clock would be appreciated.
The hosts were exceedingly friendly. We had some interesting conversations over a welcome drink. Will defintely use again if in the area.
