Les Genets is situated on a hillside overlooking the valley and the town of La Roche en Ardennes. It features free Wi-Fi in the public areas and a garden terrace. The hotel was owner run and we received a warm welcome. The food was superb although as it was freshly cooked it took some time. Overall the hotel is in a lovely positions and is good value for money

Comfortable room and main lounge. Great views and good service. The dinner - made by the owner who is also the chef - was of high quality and very delicious. We were given the worse "valley view" room (No. 8), with a peripheral view of the valley, and bright street lamps that shone in during the night. I recommend you request another room.

This is a stunningly located hotel. The views from the rooms are superb and on our package evening meals were included. We do not usually go half board but we needn't have worried, the food was fabulous. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone. Parking is just outside the door on a quiet road so do not worry about not having a car park.

Nice and quiet room with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. From both rooms we had a wonderful view over the valley of La Roche. Staff was very helpful and even offered a garage for our motorbike. Breakfast was fully sufficient and was served in the hotel´s scenic restaurant with a terrific outlook over the valley. The only minus: No shower, but a bathtub without a curtain instead. So only a "shower on knees" was possible.

Very kind and helpful owner. Beautiful view from the hotel over La Roche en Ardenne and the ruïns of the former castle. Hotel is old but very clean. Comfortable bed!

Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd en natuurlijk het uitzicht is fantastisch . Bij aankomst was er alleen een bad op onze kamer dus geen gelegenheid om te douchen , maar bij terugkomst van onze eerste dag van verkenning in de omgeving was er keurig een douche en een douchegordijn opgehangen in de badkamer weliswaar in het bad maar douchen konden we .

Nous avons aimé la gentillesse des patrons qui veillent au bien-être de leur clientèle . La cuisine au restaurant de l'hôtel était elle aussi excellente , sans oublier le petit-déjeuner copieux et varié . Enfin , l'excellente situation de l'hôtel et le calme règnant .

La situation privilégiée de cet hôtel plein de charme et de personnalité, situé en surplomb d' une ville que nous connaissions déjà. Nous disposions d'un superbe point de vue sur le paysage. Prachtig ligging, inrichting jaren 70 maar voor een nachtje geen probleem. Vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt, maar wel stevig aan de prijs. De prijs is vrij stevig gezien de verouderde inrichting, maar alles was verder wel naar tevredenheid.
