Lovely hotel..wonderful owner..very welcoming..beautiful surrounding, displaying an appreciation for antiques, the arts, music, and fine living... location is not for everyone..sits on hill overlooking town..we loved it...others may find it inconvenient

Comfortable room and main lounge. Great views and good service. The dinner - made by the owner who is also the chef - was of high quality and very delicious. We were given the worse "valley view" room (No. 8), with a peripheral view of the valley, and bright street lamps that shone in during the night. I recommend you request another room.

This is a stunningly located hotel. The views from the rooms are superb and on our package evening meals were included. We do not usually go half board but we needn't have worried, the food was fabulous. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone. Parking is just outside the door on a quiet road so do not worry about not having a car park.

Nice and quiet room with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. From both rooms we had a wonderful view over the valley of La Roche. Staff was very helpful and even offered a garage for our motorbike. Breakfast was fully sufficient and was served in the hotel´s scenic restaurant with a terrific outlook over the valley. The only minus: No shower, but a bathtub without a curtain instead. So only a "shower on knees" was possible.

The best think about this hotel was its location, views, and the proprietor was welcoming and friendly.It was good for a one night stop and the breakfast was ok too. The bathroom had a nice hand basin which had an enormous crack in it. I am sure it'll be fixed sometime as something like that wouldn't be left.

Het ontbijt was erg goed verzorgd, we hebben geen diner gebruikt in het restaurant. Kamer was netjes, met een prachtig uitzicht over la roche! We zin maar 1 nacht geweest, hebben gewandeld!! Komt wat oud over, ligt erg hoog op een heuvel, met sneeuw lastig te bereiken denken wij en ook voor oudere mensen niet handig, veel trappen in het hotel!!

de kleinschalige en huiselijke sfeer, gepaste aandacht aan de gasten het avondeten voor de prijs die wij voor halfpension betaald hebben mocht het ontbijt wel wat meer uitgebreid zijn. Ook hadden wij een grote badkamer met alleen maar een bad zonder douchegordijn wat niet zo handig is om te douchen, vooral niet voor oudere mensen
