Very noisy

Well we have to conclude that everything in Namur ( hotel de Lives ) was as perfekt as we could hope . Really a sublime service .room 5. incredible nice people , sublime restaurant ..... a big + from us . mr.and ms. Jensen ( danmark ) ''''''''''- ''''''''please notice ''''''''''- ''''' Unbelieveble when you came from Groot-bijgaarden (brussels) what was realy dirty and one of the worst we ever experienced, a real dump!

Brussels Grootbijgaarden room 15 1/Stinking matras ( Nicotin ) 2/Stinking room , 3/sheets , 4/extreme dirty floor (pots and so on ) 5/Realy bad bedmatras. 6/Noise ? a running generator all night . we advice to close and re-evaluate that place because it realy give a bad name to the others . Price was 40 euro more that we had to pay in Namur and the room in brussels was only half so big ? its a shame we ever had a night over there , and what we paid is pure teft in compare to Namur . shame on you Brussels ( groot-bijgaarden ) a refund would be the least to expect !!! Very good value. Huge room.

Right next to a busy dual carriage-way, so room was far too noisy to have a window open at night and traffic very audible even with the window shut.

We like all! Bigs rooms,very clean hotel,excellent breakfast.

Hotel was situated near the river and was not far from town centre. breakfast was included in the price which i thought was reasonable. Large comfortable bed which made for a good nights sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Although we enjoyed our stay there are a couple of things that we could point out. Our room was clean and a good size, but on arrival we were a little unsure or the decor.Dark grey painted walls are a bit uninviting and because the heating had not been turned on it felt very cold. Maybe this was made worse by the fact that it was dark by the time we arrived, as in the morning it did look better as there was plenty light coming in the large windows. Other thing was Wi fi. No network in the room so we had to go to reception area.

Staff were sullen and disinterested. Couldn't (or wouldn't) accommodate us in main dining room although there were several empty spaces. Seated us in "conservatory" annexe instead which had no atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is a small hotel and god value for money. The room was clean and comfortable with a very nice bathroom. The restaurant is very good. Nice location near the motorway at Namur and opposite the river.

The ice cream was quite good!!!!

Expensive food and not good. Sewage smell in the room. Bad noise insulation in room, heard someone marching around till after midnight and awoke again at around 7am with the same, member of staff just smiled when I complained. We had a trip to Sicily stayed at 9 hotels in total, this hotel was the most expensive and ranked bottom of the list of all hotels

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice ambience.. Great views across the river. Superbe food in the restuarant... The tea and coffee facilitie in the room was useful...

Stairs up to 2nd floor room...(will ask for ground floor if we go again as my sister has trouble mounting stairs) The twin room was quite spacious, but the double was rather cramped... Would have been nice to have the refrigerator in the room as advertised...instead of the mini bar...

The telephone call at 7 AM on Sunday morning while we were still sleeping! Ithey told us it was an accident, and apologized

We used as an overnight stop which was convienient for us as we were travelling to Austria

Our room was extremely hot for us and over looked the major road which was noisy. I would ask fro a room away from the road next time.

Good combination of cost and facility, good inclusive breakfast, welcoming staff, English speakers.

Road could be noisy for river view rooms. No lift.

Etape idéale pour un séjour vers les pays bas; personnel disponible et accueil sympathique. Les parties rénovées de l'hôtel sont confortables, très propres. Petit déjeuner complet et tout cela pour un prix très abordable!

le chemin défoncé pour arriver un "trou" entre la route et le chemin a provoqué un accrochage de mon pare-choc arrière ...

Petit déjeuner, personnel, emplacement, calme malgré le long d'une chaussée (Volets aux fenêtres).

Quelques détails point de vue propreté mais rien de grave. (Toiles d’araignées)

Le restaurant qui se trouve dans l'Hôtel et dont le rapport qualité/prix est intéressant. Très bonne fondue.

Chambre un peu petite et oreiller trop dur .bruit. Dans le couloir

L'accueil à la réception le petit déj en buffet qu'il est possible de prendre avant 7 h la décoration intérieure gris foncé avec une touche fushia qui égaie cette maison de pays construite avec la pierre bleue provenant des carrières proches.

Problèmes de réseau exaspérants - wifi inexistant : indigne d'un 3 étoiles odeur de tabac froid dans la chambre odeurs de cuisine dans tout l'hôtel liée à la présence d'un restaurant laxisme au niveau du parking, pas de places réservées aux occupants de l'hôtel, pas de sens de circulation sur le parking, sortie bloquée presque chaque jour par des véhicules et la gérante ne fait rien. Entretien aléatoire des chambres : manque de serviettes, poubelles pleines, sanitaires sales

facile a trouver (merci TomTom) chambre vaste resto sympa en un mot a enregistrer pour une prochaine

Verf of lijmgeur in kamers nog steeds aanwezig. Na klagen van het - overigens goed meewerkende personeel- andere kamer gekregen maar daar was het ook aanwezig. In restaurant staan tafels zeer dicht tegen elkaar aan.
