Location and overall look of the castle
size of the room and bathroom - it was really small (we stayed at room 18) selection of food for breakfast was somewhat poor
Very nice building Gorgeous garden Good location
No Wifi signal inside the room
Beautiful gardens Clean rooms
Did not receive wifi signal in room
Don.t go on mon or tues if ypu want tp stay in hotel. Shut bar at 6pm
Very relaxing atmosphere, good breakfast , friendly staff
The staff were excellent and the grounds were beautiful
Road noise in our room at the front was the only downside.
Very nice grounds to relax. The hotel was charming and our room had a sunroom with a great view over the lake.
The bed was a bit hard, and the pillows where too large.
the food in the restaurant was excellent. the gardens are beautiful.
lack of towel rail or shelves in bathroom
The atmosphere, gardens and views were superb. Lovely dinner at the restaurant. Our room was excellent with a big balcony overlooking the garden and lake. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the hotel was easy to get to and very handy to the city. We had a great stay and would stay at this hotel again.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Staff, the property, the furniture, the serenity, the food and the location.
Wifi only worked outside or in foyer.
Think of mosquito nets!
garden,rooms with view,friendly
far from Brugge(5 km)
Location 5 mind drive from centre Impressive building
Some night no evening restaurant
Big, elegant hotel with a lovely garden. We stayed here for one night. We ordered the 'suite' because it was really cheap. The suite was a bit disappointing. The room looked old and worn. I think it needs an upgrade. It was a little bit bigger than a normal room, but that's all. If you have been in suites before, then you may be disappointed. Still, the room was clean and it was CHEAP. So no complaints from me :) Then breakfast was pretty good. I recommend this hotel, but don't over pay.
Rooms were old. Lacked air condition, but you can open the windows.
Grounds and room.
Wifi not available throughout easily and a pool/spa would be nice.
Location to city Centre. The grounds and v scenery around the hotel.
Wifi was hard to connect to and not a good connection in room. The shower in the room was a little awkward
Beautiful classic castle building and grounds
but our room faced busy noisy road and double glazing poor ...lots of transmitted noise from other guests ie 'bathroom' and audible voices
gardens quiet location but easy reach of town
The garden looks decent
The hotel is an old house very different vs pictures and personnel very rude. I recommend to stay away of this hotel as they have a bossy attitude. I booked the hotel with two hours before arriving there and once we arrived, there was nobody in the hotel not even a receptionist. She was home sleeping. Strange no other cars parked or seen there. Lights were off and inspired a very creepy feeling just as in the horror movies. We just walked away. Please reconsider before booking here!
Beautiful building, awesome gardens. Large rooms.
Deserves an uplift.
large room and a lovely garden
location is brilliant, very beautiful hotel
was a party outside till 1am, someones birthday, so loud, you can forget about sleeping. Breakfast is free but very basic
Location was convenient for getting into Bruges without fighting traffic. Only 2.5km from rail station & giant parking lot.
Flimsy 10cm "camping" mattress laid on a box (no springs). Horrible excuse for a bed. Shower had very poor pressure. Website makes the hotel appear to be a countryside retreat when in actuality it faces a major highway into Bruges (noisy sleep). Wi-Fi is free but only valid for 2-hours then you'll require a new password. Network kicked off and required re-login 5 times in an hour. Only hot items included with breakfast is coffee, tea and a boiled egg. In general, we were underwhelmed.
To out of the way for brugge owner didn't wasn't that nice probably because we are English
