lovely hotel with views over the lake, you will need a car at this location. Good breakfast, great value hotel.

The hotel was clean and the staff freindly, was not too far from Brugge that you could cycle or get a taxi or bus and leave the car there, the food was good we stayed in to eat one night the room was comfortable we had a room overlooking the grounds so it was quiet. There was a door that was always open so you could come and go as you please enjoyable stay

There was no facilities in room i.e no kettle , we were up the second floor and the flight of stairs to the second floorwere steep so if you have trouble with stairs ask for a lower floor. The wind ratttled the windows a little but to be fair it is a very old building.

Very good backyard. Beautiful view. Free car park.

There was no hair dryer in the room. Room was cold, whereas there was a just blanket on bed.

The building and the park is beautiful. Nice restaurant and the breakfast was good.

There was no heating in the room and the hot water was not running for a while. The manager was not friendly and not helpful with this. So, basically, the beautiful photos can be misleading of the service.

Great location for Brugge and cycling the local area. Beautiful olde worlde character hotel and rooms overlooking the lake and gardens. Free parking was a bonus, and only a 5 minute drive from the Brugge Park & Ride. The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing. Lovely free breakfast. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely stay there again.

One small niggle: the free wifi was only for 2 hours.

The backyard seems to be nice during the nice weather and closeness to Bruge in case you can't find a hotel in Bruge itself.

Hotel is advertised as a castle within the nature when instead it only has a green garden,but it's located on a busy road. The room (no.15) was totally not as advertised. EUR 95 for a double room with the most uncomfortable bed ever (pillows and mattrass as thin as paper) felt like we slept on the wooden board. Shower with almost no water pressure and bathroom and the toilet old and not well maintained. They are nothing like the photos presented. Free wifi is only a 2h session. For each session you need a new login and reception is not open 24/7. Breakfast was OK even though they served yoghurts well over expiry date. Finally nobody of the staff asked at any point about our stay.I am sorry to have booked this hotel.

Loved the gardens with the lake and the decor/interior was beautiful like an old castle

distance from the town centre- only 10minutes by car but cost 20euros in a taxi and too far to walk (5miles)

The rooms were excellent, the breakfasts ample and good variety of choices and the evening meal superb.

The park behind the hotel is just gorgeous! Breakfast was good, parking and Wi Fi for free. I would say it was cheapest hotel in the this time period, but the best what we could chose as we liked to stay in it.

Just in the evening when we came in hotel receptionist ignored us 5 min. But on the morning he was very nice.

if you are driving a car, then this castle is great for your choice and worth the stay because it is not in the city center. the hotel is really beautiful and there is a big garden. breakfast is good. parking is free and safe. worth the money.

no elevator and we cannot connect to the wifi in our room. only the ground and the first floor get the wifi.

I liked the atmosphere and the design. the garden and the lake was really nice place to have coffee or even a conversation at night. I'm coming back to this hotel again for sure

Great location, 10 min. from Bruges' central station parking for city sight seeing. Very quiet room facing the magnificent park and pond behind the hotel. Ample free parking, free WiFi. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful castle like building surrounded by a park. Great playground for children with swings, slides, etc. Rooms spacious and comfortable, breakfast delicious and plenty.

We like the closeness to the city of Bruges. The staff was very friendly too.

The gardens at the rear of the hotel. Approximately a 50 minute walk into the centre of Brugge. On a road which is a major bus route into Brugge, buses every 15 minutes or so apart from sunday.

Our room was grim. The mattress was just a piece of foam rather than a proper mattress. The bed sheets had holes in them. The room was really warm and there was a fusty smell but unfortunately the road noise meant it was impossible to open the window and be able to relax at the same time. There were mosquitos in the bathroom. I was unable to have a proper shower as the shower head would not stay in position.

I asked for a ground ior 1st floor room, ended up with the 2nd floor , the staircase in engand would not be legal, I was put on the 2nd floor because a custimeer the day before complained and was put on the 1st floor , my room I guess. The restaurant did not open at all. I was in a roomk on the n9 roaring traffdic all nightg, also found that the man who swapped rood was not paying as much as me I would never go again, thanks for nothing I must read your offers more closelyu.

Lovely building and grounds. About a couple of miles from the centre of Brugges

We arrived on a Monday, bar or reasturant not open. Steep stairs to upper bedrooms. Breakfast was basic.

Old beautifull building, worth to see. Far from center of Brugge, so you need taxi or car.

Park

The hotel is located next to a main road where during the day the cars and trucks are passing in 5 seconds intervals none stop. At night every minute. The hotel has no airconditioning, hence you have only the choice of sweeting in the room, or opening the window but cannot sleep because of the road. The only reason I booked was because of the park and nice tables outside to be able to have breakfast outside, but this was impossible.

Park of the hotel is fantastic!!! The hotel itself is great : it's a castle!

Some roms have the french small bed. We asked to change and the room was great! Ask to be in the park side :)

This is a beautiful, castle-like place, the grounds are well-kept and very lovely. Our room was nice, with a lovely glassed-in sunroom terrace.
