Score from 109 reviews Wonderful
Almost everything, very modern rooms, clean and spacious, nice bathroom, comfy bed and tea & coffee making. Decent breakfast in the continental style, friendly host, 5 mins walk to 'Kusttram', so ok.
Without warning, all the lights went out. We were in room at night, suddenly pitch black. This is a money saving gadget, in case guests go out & leave lights on. BUT - there is NO 'night light' so people have to grope round the room to find a light switch. This is QUITE UNACCEPTABLE, if we had been really elderly, could have tripped and broken something (I mean arm or leg!). I understand the idea to turn the lights out, but these days it's easy to have a very low light to give some safety aspect.
The B&B is near public transportation The place is quiet The room is big enough for a family
The breakfast is very simple
- new building, very clean, quite fridge, lcd tv, good beds - location: near tram station, 2km from the sea - friendly staff, very helpful
- small breakfast area - small bathroom
the bathroom was excellent gave me ideas for an upcoming refurbishment at home.
What was there not to like?
Superb new rooms, clean and well equipped. Excellent breakfast, home made bread and tasty fruit yoghurt. Mid way between the beachfront and the town centre and only 250 metres to the tram stop.
The apartment was comfortable and cleaned well, the breakfasts were tasty.
The apartments are newly-built. Really nice bathroom and shower. Situated approx. 500 m from the harbour and 1,5 km from the beach and shops/restaurants. Great close free parking.
The couple who own and run the place are disorganised. The apartments are not as seen in the images on booking.com, and are not finished yet (open wiring all over, missing smoke-detectors, huge switch-board above toilet, hole and wiring opening in wall, painting not compete, cement and grout still on walls, etc.). Very cold and practical, bit missing any form of character. Breakfast is at one large table with other guests, and if this is full, then in the owner's own dining room, which was a strange experience. Note that if you want to use the stove and dishwasher in the apartment , you need to book a Deluxe Family Studio, which costs 30 Euro more per day and then the owners will turn the power on for those. We were also not openly informed of this oddity when checking in.
Modern facilities - very close to sailing club. We will definately return at some point.
My son would say theFried eggs - a very English thing!! Thank you for trying to cook them though. Much Appreciated.
