Location and friendliness of the owners second to none
Location was fantastic, waste of check in, decor and facilities were brilliant. We especially liked the verander to sit out and look over bruge in a morning.
Twin beds, would have much preferred a double.
Wonderful location, very high spec, quiet, spacious and great value. Lovely greeting from the owner who is very helpful
Not a lot, it's got some steep stairs so be aware.
The owner was very helpful and welcoming, went over and above our expectations
The location The decor and furnishings The terrace- pity it was November!
The stairs were v steep and a handrail was needed upstairs
very spacious apartment good outside space central location (walking distance to bars, attractions and shops)
no washing machine steep stairs would be a problem for families with small children
Great location Excellent apartment
Lots of steep stairs
location outside terrace
although this has an excellent location it is only suitable for fit and able bodies and certainly no young children as the initial set of stairs (25) are steep and narrow and marble. There is a set of open wooden stairs to the bedrooms and at the moment no hand rail. A toaster in the kitchen needed.
Modern. Balcony WITH proper outdoor set, table umbrella, chairs. Nice owner. On tiny tiny street. One full shower and toilet and double sinks and one toitet and sink on first landing. Brugge is VERY charming. Rooms were large compared to other apartments I have rented in Europe.
The shower floor is slippery, and shower water goes directly onto the rest of the bathroom. I made a dam with towels. I would have felt safer with a mat or sauna board to stand on while showering.Lots of mosquitoes with a canal town in summer and no screens on windows, no AC so you have to open windows and mosquitoes get in. I rarely have had window screens on any of my Europe stay.
Very nice appartment,great location
uncomfortable beds. only one fan
Mr. Mark, the owner is a wonderful person. He took time to give us information about city and various well known restaurants in the vicinity. High recommendation of the apartment as it is no less than a five star property.
This apartment was in a great location. Very close to shops, restaurants and sights. It was very large with bedrooms on the 3rd floor and living space on the 2nd. There was a large private balcony with terrific views. Comfy couch and beds. Huge bathtub. Good internet.
Steep stairs. It was fine for us but perhaps not very good for the elderly or those with very young children.
The apartment felt like a hidden away gem, very quiet but just a few metres from the centre of Bruges. The little terrace area was lovely to sit out on, a real treat with coffee and croissants in the morning ( or an evening beer of course!)
The stairs were no problem at all for us but young families or older folks would need to be wary.
Very stylish and well-appointed apartment in central location. Owners were extremely helpful and our group of four friends had a great time in the beautiful city of Bruges.
Excellent in all respects. No negative issues. Would certainly use again.
Apartment Loppem 11 is great! The location is amazing and you can even see the famous Clock Tower from the kitchen window. It is like a home away from home with comfortable beds and all the details are looked after. We loved it and woukd highly recommend it.
There are a lot of stairs so you need good knees.
Excellent accommodation. Would rebook without hesitation.
Location is super! Apartment is very modern and the owner Mark was very helpful. Would stay again if we were back that way. Peaceful area despite being very central.
Nothing however it must be noted that the steps up to the apartment are very steep. Not suitable for everyone and I can understand why it was not recommended for children under 8 years.
The location was perfect, very central an yet quiet during the night. The apartment was beautifully furnished and the owners could not have been more helpful.
It was not a problem for us but as this is a loft apartment there is obviously lots of stairs.
The area of the apartment was very quiet and we had good sleep on the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on!!! Cruise companies should take note!! Marc was with us within minutes and was very helpful with what we should see. He was charming and very friendly which put us at our ease. The apartment is so near all the main tourist spots and very very clean and cosy and warm. We used a restaurant called Venice which is very near the apartment and was very good and also Kronenbourg in the square both places were very friendly. The taxi back with a firm called "George" was a lot better and he was very helpful, friendly and polite. A lovely time was had by my daughter, granddaughter and myself! Thank You!
It was just a pity that being early in the season the balcony chairs and table were not out because we had some really warm sunshine during out two main days and it would have been nice to eat out there and saved on crumbs too I guess.. The taxi driver FROM the station was not very pleasant or helpful - he actually left me to close a sliding door and being an old lady I could not do so and he was very grumpy about it.
Excellent information provided to us about local area. Owners very helpful. Flat clean and tidy. V good location.
Nothing important but it would have been a touch nicer with some simple flowers on the table to soften the fairly minimalist architecture and add a splash of colour.
Right in the heart of Bruges. Marc who owns the unit was great
there are a few steps to get those bags up A Microwave would be a good addition
Loved the quiet yet central location. Stylish apartment (No.11) which was very well equipped and with the bonus of a great exterior seated balcony offering nice rooftop views of the churches etc. Proprietor was very pleasant, and also accommodating when we asked if luggage could be left at the flat on final morning until we caught our train.
Beds were maybe a tad on the narrow side. We got round it by pushing ours together. Stairs were OK for us but would not suit elderly or disabled. All in all excellent with nothing really to complain about.
