Excellent and safe location, the staff are very polite and helpful, rooms are clean and very good
Very friendly and helpful staff! We traveled with 2 year old child and got a big room in a quite corner, baby cot, extra towels for baby - everything that we needed. Thanks!
A comfortable friendly Hotel in the heart of Brussels with good breakfast facilities. Represents value for money
Great location, at walking distance to all the main attractions. Extremely nice and helpful staff.
Very good location. Few mins walk to central station & town hall. A number of other attractions can be reached by foot. My options for cafe & meals
1. Staff 2. Not enough lights in the room. Very old property with funny sounding doors 3. No coffee maker in room, it's basic ! 4. Basic Continental breakfast was overpriced
The staff was amazing in every bit
The cleaning staff: kind of avoid cleaning rooms and just leaves after knocking once of twice...
Good location, good price
Wifi-access is charged,
Perfect location. A 5min walk to Gran Place. Worth it
Wifi is not included in the price
Typical European hotel, as I expected. It had a nice view from my window. There is a really good restaurant next to.
It was a little noisy outside during the whole night.
The location of the hotel was great! Very close to the main square and restaurants
My room was on the very top floor with only a small window, being summer it was quite warm as there was no air con or fan it made for very uncomfortable sleeping
1 member of staff was miserable. The guy who checked us in on the Sunday was good though.
Staff member. Older guy about 50
Good location, real nice reception team, but Hotel badly needs makeover. Only for young people.
No airco/extremly hot in summer + windows open means very noisy/bad sleep. Floors are very narrow with small steps inbetween, unsuitable for people with heavy baggage or older people, elevator scaringly as old as hotel.
no good smell in the environment
The location of the hotel is excellent.
Everthing is old and need some attention. The fridge in the room doesn't work properly
Location was brilliant, the family room was very spacious, the staff helpful and very friendly.
Would have loved tea/coffee-making facilities :-) Also the babycot wasn't set up when we arrived but the guy at reception helped us out :-)
The space, the location
The breakfast is not included
The only good thing about this hotel is its location.
From the get go check in at reception where you cant swing a cat our reservation could not be found for our two nights. The clerk huffed and puffed and eventually gave us a key.He didn't ask for any ID signature nothing. Now the room beds too soft something resembling a half stuffed cusion as a pillow. No air and I don't think the bed throw/cover has ever seen water. And God forbid if there had been a fire ? There is no way an hotel in Ireland would get away with this on health and safety grounds.
Very very close to the hub of Brussels- Grand Place, Central Station and Galleries Saint Hubert. Do not expect too much about the room.
WiFi is not free.
Very close to the main siteseeing places. Hair-drier, safe in a room. Real bath.
- The toilet and other facilities are soo old, that it is hard to understand if they are clean or not. - WiFi is not free, and pretty expensive.
The staff was really nice. The location was superb. Noisy front street rooms but Belgium just won a world cup match so it was excused. The complimentary breakfast wasn't jaw-dropping but solid enough.
The comfort of the beds was not impressive at all. We had booked one triple room but when we got there they had made a mistake and had to give us two double beds (for the same price). It was fine but these mistakes make me weary of booking on booking.com in the future.
- friendly and helpful receptionists - perfect location (5-min walk to the central station, major tourist attractions around the corner)
- very noisy: air-conditioned only on heating. so basically if you want to sleep in summer, you have to open the window. The problem is there are bars and restaurants nearby. Unless you party until after midnight, you won't be able to fall asleep without earplugs. - uncleaned: we were given two rooms instead because they said our room wasn't ready, which was fine. I don't know how to put it but the room just felt uncleaned. Two of us were staying in each room and oddly enough for my room there was only one bath towel. When I opened a closet there was a towel inside. I didn't know if it was used or the cleaning staff failed to notice it. the latter was confirmed by the condition of the other room: the toilet was UNCLEANED. There was still poo from the previous occupant... The shower was a pain in the butt: you just couldn't get to the right temperature: it's just either too hot or too cold. For the other room, it was only dripping water. I would definitely not choose to stay here despite its location and ok value for money.
Nice hotel close to center of all attractions
Great location! Right in the tourist area downtown and only a few steps to the Grand Place.
Don't expect any professional service or hospitality from the staff at the hotel. Very far from what you'll expect at a decent accommodation. The rooms was quite spacious but that was partly because there wasn't much in the room except for very basic stuff. Walls are so thin that you could hear people whisper as they walk down the corridor. Only good for one night cheap stay.
Breakfast is poor
Just the location.
Old and shabby furniture. Miniature room. Not worth the money.
