Paper thin walls, I expected an "apartment" to have two bedrooms and living not a one big bedroom and a loft which has another and no separation
General look; old furniture; very basic amenities only
The hotel is situated in 3 minutes walking from Brussel-Centraal station and 2 minutes from the famous Grand Place. Staff was really helping - receptionist freely speaks both French and English and he gave me all the information about nearest sighseeing places and general touristic routes.Corridors and lobby really give you a feeling of 2* star hotel, but rooms are surprisingly much nicer. Good low-cost hotel in Brussels to spend 1-2 nights between walking around and exploring this beautiful city.
It was a bit noisy in my room cause the windows looked to the closed court with AC-machines installed in it, but I can't say it was a big problem.
The staff, location, food
The obtuse shape of the room made it difficult to move around luggage
Rooms at front are noisy - but I was given a choice or 'view or quiet'
All the rest
the style of a "forgotten world"
They forgot to clean up my room, the WiFi wasn´t working upstairs
Excellent location, very close to Great Market and Grand Plaza. Breakfast was reasonably good.
I had a bad experience with one of the staff. He lacked basic courtesy expected in the hospitality industry. Wifi details on the site are misleading. Says available throughout hotel. But does not mention that you need to pay for using it. Room had an odour (human waste) but the staff at the Reception didn't even go to check and instead said that he was not aware that the previous guest was sick in the room. Had to open the windows to get rid of the smell and that led to mosquitoes entering the room.
Location is the best , breakfast good and good coffe !!
The guys in the recepcion are so in bad mood all the time !! If You ate for something , basicly You be need ready to star a fight o be insulted ! Elavator is creepy!!!
Very clean room Perfect location, very close to the gare centrale
Strange Internet rules Strange booking system
Near Grand Place, near Central station
The hotel is situated near a small square which was not quiet at night...
smells bad, slow staff, you have to pay for the wifi.
Close to the station
Room was on the fifth floor, hot and noisy, mosquitoes at the room when windows are open.
Good central location Quiet at night
Paying for wifi Smelly shared bathroom Terrible view from my room
Near to action
location and calm situation of hotel and room.
Hotel is shabby and run down. My view was a brick wall.
ITS LOCATION, EASY TO GET TO
EVERYTHING WAS POORLY MAINTAINED, ROOM HAD NO AC, LOOKED AND FELT DIRTY.
facility is so old.
Location and front desk staff were wonderful
Our room was very warm, and though we had the window open, it made sleeping comfortably impossible
The hotel is so close to The Grand Place, heart of Brussels. Breakfast is good.
The labyrinth of halls.
The hotel is right next to the main square. Plenty of shops and restaurants very close by. Safe surroundings and great if you want to do some sight-seeing in Brussels. The staff was very nice, and the breakfast was good. A little renovation of the rooms and bathroom would be a good idea, but anyway it was clean and very cosy. I really liked this hotel, and would definitely stay there again.
You have to pay to use the WiFi, and it's expensive! (1 Euro/30min).
Everything. Had a great week!
One overhead lamp in room #250 does not want to work.
The location is perfect. It is very close the central station. The staff are very kind.
This hotel has an excellent location, however it is below medium hotel for just sleeping.
The building was old. Our room was small on the backyard. We couldn't open the windows. The smell of the room was not fresh.
