location and calm situation of hotel and room.
Hotel is shabby and run down. My view was a brick wall.
ITS LOCATION, EASY TO GET TO
EVERYTHING WAS POORLY MAINTAINED, ROOM HAD NO AC, LOOKED AND FELT DIRTY.
Location and front desk staff were wonderful
Our room was very warm, and though we had the window open, it made sleeping comfortably impossible
The hotel is so close to The Grand Place, heart of Brussels. Breakfast is good.
The labyrinth of halls.
Everything. Had a great week!
One overhead lamp in room #250 does not want to work.
This hotel has an excellent location, however it is below medium hotel for just sleeping.
The building was old. Our room was small on the backyard. We couldn't open the windows. The smell of the room was not fresh.
nothing fancy n no ac
Excellent and safe location, the staff are very polite and helpful, rooms are clean and very good
Very friendly and helpful staff! We traveled with 2 year old child and got a big room in a quite corner, baby cot, extra towels for baby - everything that we needed. Thanks!
A comfortable friendly Hotel in the heart of Brussels with good breakfast facilities. Represents value for money
Great location, at walking distance to all the main attractions. Extremely nice and helpful staff.
good location, staff was very friendly and supportive
noise from the street and absence of any ventillation except window made it impossible to sleep: we either had air or silence. ear plugs didn't help (i sleep in airplanes easily) most part of night we just lied down on the floor and wait until dawn, when it was comparatively cool and quiet i know it was hot summer, but heat in the room raised from floor like in sauna with same smell i don't recommend this hotel to anyone who have problem with sleeping on the warm sidewalk without wind and fresh air
Very good location. Few mins walk to central station & town hall. A number of other attractions can be reached by foot. My options for cafe & meals
1. Staff 2. Not enough lights in the room. Very old property with funny sounding doors 3. No coffee maker in room, it's basic ! 4. Basic Continental breakfast was overpriced
The staff was amazing in every bit
The cleaning staff: kind of avoid cleaning rooms and just leaves after knocking once of twice...
location location location!!! you are right at the city centre, in the old town, just round the corner of Grand Place. If you wish you could walk everywhere, no need to use any transport. at night you can hear all the action going on in the city, which is lovely. Also the price, I have paid £40 for a night in city centre, which comparing to London prices is well below the normal one.
The staff don't seem to pay any unnecessary attention to you. if you want to know something make sure you are asking questions! otherwise no info! The hotel is poor. Rooms are quite small. It is a hostel type of hotel (well as they say "bed and breakfast") I was scared to touch all the things around as it gives an impression of being dirty, maybe its just me. Also don't order breakfast! for the price of £6 you can have lovely breakfast in the town, which is just right at your door step. Overall: if you need a good location and not planning to stay in a hotel much, it is perfect. If you'd like the "hotel experience", don't book it :)
I like the location..
It was hot in the room..even though i knew that they didn't have AC...But they could at least provide A fan....The receptionist Philpp was very rude...but the other people were very nice.
Good location, good price
Wifi-access is charged,
Perfect location. A 5min walk to Gran Place. Worth it
Wifi is not included in the price
Typical European hotel, as I expected. It had a nice view from my window. There is a really good restaurant next to.
It was a little noisy outside during the whole night.
The location of the hotel was great! Very close to the main square and restaurants
My room was on the very top floor with only a small window, being summer it was quite warm as there was no air con or fan it made for very uncomfortable sleeping
1 member of staff was miserable. The guy who checked us in on the Sunday was good though.
Staff member. Older guy about 50
Good location, real nice reception team, but Hotel badly needs makeover. Only for young people.
No airco/extremly hot in summer + windows open means very noisy/bad sleep. Floors are very narrow with small steps inbetween, unsuitable for people with heavy baggage or older people, elevator scaringly as old as hotel.
no good smell in the environment
The location of the hotel is excellent.
Everthing is old and need some attention. The fridge in the room doesn't work properly
