Maison Az  

I am coming to Brussels very often for the last 5 years and I have stayed most of the brand hotels. I have never loved my staying as much as I have stayed at Maison az. My apartment was magnique with the terrace,unique decoration,windows on the roof,elite details... Since I am so interested in design,I easily did understand that the decoration ls special and have learned that Ms.Zimmerman - the owner- is an architect and painter. I have chosen the place for my future visits as that special apartment!

A friendly welcome by the staff/owners whom you will only see on arriving and during breakfast except if you need their assistance at other times in which case you call them - they live on the premises and they are willing to provide their assistance. This is an old building that has been very well refurbished with a simple and uplifting design, rooms which are spacious and comfortable in all respects. It is great for unwinding after a day's work. Breakfast is simple, good and well presented. Mellow jazz music in the breakfast room. It all works.

If you arrive there for the first time you may miss the entrance - it is a big double door, there is no sign signaling the entrance to the hotel. You need to ring the bell on arrival - the owner will give you your entrance code. You are then comfronted by the most narrow lift you may have ever seen. It gets too crowded with two persons but thankfully it has glass around it so it does not get claustrophobic! But you will not be put off as the place lives up to its reputation.

This is an amazing place when you are just feeling being at home but in much better. We had chance to visit all rooms and we know already that we will plan at least one trip per room. People are very kind and always ready to help you. We really enjoyed our journey. You can plan one without hesitation. Key words: - Design - Home - Bathroom - Breakfast

The location is a bit far from center of city (20 minutes by walk). But this give you opportunity to visit the city.

Excellent comfort, very nice design, pretty and reserved place ..

The hostess is a very friendly, warm and helpful lady. Breakfast comprises of freshly baked crossiant, hot cholocate/coffee/tea and wide variety of fruits was a pleasant surprise. The boutique apartment boosts beautiful decor, cosy room facitities, ideal for couples/family seeking comfort and ease.

Was a great place, close to attractions, right next to a castle, and also the rail station, rooms were remarkable :)

It didn`t seem like a hotel - more of an experience

Very tasteful decorations in a beautiful historic building. Very spacious room! Stunning bathroom! Free wifi and good quality breakfast. Personal, attentive service. And all this located in walking distance from Midi station and round the corner from Hallepoort Metro station.

The price is quite steep - but overall worth it I would say.

Friendly atmosphere, amazing design, very nice breakfest, the location was very good and there are many parking places right next to the hotel if you come with a rented car. I arrived very very late (after midnight) and still was welcomed with a very warm smile.

The room decor, art work and building design is great. Annik is a wonderful person. Very convenient to Metro, train station and city center. Bar a Gille's is a great restaurant nearby. Morning breakfast is very good.

Nice family driven with excellent service, clean and with great french breakfast.

It was a bit harder to enter the hotel, no response on phone or house ring. It took us 20 minutes that somebody responded.
