Breakfast Friendliness of owners
No tv, poor wifi unless u don't mind standing in the hall one floor down or sitting on toilet. Long steep climb to room.
Beautiful 190 year old townhouse, good location in a very quiet road, only three minutes from Saint Catherine metro station and the many restaurants around there. Matthieu and Brendon were very friendly and helpful hosts and served good breakfast in the stylish ground floor (beautiful glass windows and old parquet floor). Large room with the biggest bath tub I have ever seen, spotlessly clean. Wi-Fi worked well (in our room in the first floor).
Nothing to mention, everything was perfect.
I love the location! There are tons of good reataurants and it is within walking distance (10 min) of the Grand Place. Our room was very spacious and clean. Best of all the bed was very comfortable. The host was helpful and very friendly and the breakfast was good.
The location was great, very close to the centre, the subway is round the corner and one step to nice fish restaurants. Special thanks to the hosts: Matthew and Brandon made our stay really cosy. They were very helpful and attentive. The house itself is gorgeous. The bed was big and very comfortable. The room was spacious and very stylish. Big modern bathroom, well equipped. Nice toiletries (my favourite L'Occitane).
We had a room with the windows to the street and it was a bit noisy, because of the cobble stones - typical road coverage in Brussels. Each car sounds like a Boing on such road. It was hot and we had to keep the windows opened. With the closed windows it was much better. So, it would be nice to have an AC in the room. It would definitely solve the situation. I imagine that in winter it is not an issue at all.
This is a very nice bed and breakfast. The owners are hospitable and helpful.
I had a lot of problems with the wi-fi. If you are staying in a room at the top of the house, the signal is really poor.
very friendly, personalised service and a "homely' feeling. The breakfast was excellent and there was wonderful Italian espresso, while enjoying the fresh air from the little garden outside the breakfast room.
the only slight inconvenience is the stairs, which can bit a of a challenge with luggage.
The 2nd floor room with balcony was lovely. The 2 owners were most helpful and the location-near good restaurants was superb.
A little shabby but interesting. Breakfast was a little sparse.
nice house, the room is clean and cozy.
spaciousness of room
we had a little difficulty connecting to wi-fi
The house is a traditional Brussels' 19th century town house which has a lot of character. The size of the room and the rain shower in the bath were quite comfortable.
The neighbourhood is central but a bit grotty. While the building has character, the interior looked a bit dated and the house had a musty smell. I didn't particularly like the fact that toilet & washing facilities were part of the room, separated only by a wardrobe partition. Also there was little privacy as there was just a door separating the room with the office next door. All-in-all a found it a bit pricey for the value as compared to other B&B's in the center of Bxl.
Maison Noble is brilliantly located within easy walking distance of central Brussels and its many attractions. It is also near a small square containing a number of quality restaurants and cafes, supermarkets etc. Our unit was a good size, quiet, and well-appointed, and was serviced daily. The friendly owner, Mathieu, met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour. He was generally on-site and always helpful when we had questions.
We were slightly disappointed not to enjoy a "drink on the terrace" that other reviews mention, however another guest arrived soon after us so this could have prevented it. As well, like many European accommodation places, the room lacked a compendium showing details of local services (eg a laundry, eateries etc) which we always find helpful.
The property has just a few rooms, and the owners themselves will welcome you and offer you breakfast. The room I had was quite spacious and looked great.
Since the owners cater for guests instead of a hired staff, the owners will call you to tell them when you arrive for check-in, when you have breakfast, and when you check-out. This might be annoying at times, but this could be compensated by their availability to tell you interesting stuff about the city.
Maison Noble is a wonderful place to stay in Brussels!! Great location, in a trendy neighborhood, 5 minutes walk from the Grand Place. We stayed in the top floor room--wonderful, high-end design, filled with skylights with views of the city, terrific accommodations, fantastic rooms and bathroom. It is a four floor walk up to the room so not a good choice for those who can't do that but there are rooms on lower floors.
Matthieu and Brendon were fantastic hosts. They made our stay so very enjoyable
The stuff is extremely nice and very personal, the location couldn't be better, the rooms are big and extremely taken care of, the bathroom was very nice. Everything was spotless clean, new and with a luxurious feeling. It's the feeling of a 5-stars hotel but in a house with real people.
The wifi code could be written in the room or some place so it would be easier to access.
It had everything I needed in the room for a good sleep, a very comfortable bed, the room can be made very dark at night with the curtains, quiet. Safe area and close to lots of restaurants and the metro.
Matthieu and Brendan Breakfast Access to restaurants Uniqueness of the building Concierge services provided by Matthieu and Brendan
Seating in room not comfortable Housekeeping staff not consistent
It was throuly satisfactory in all respects
The friendliness, the room and the restaurants in the area.
The house is gorgeous, the rooms are large and immaculately clean. The bathroom was beautiful, our host was very sweet.
The living room (though well appointed and charming) was closed the majority of the time we were there. It would have been nice to have something of a common space, or a place to fix a tea or something during the afternoon.
Quality of everything - Breakfast, accomodation, comfort & perfect location
I loved my stay at Maison Nobel. It was comfortable and luxurious and quite close to downtown/Grote Maarkt. If you are going to the EP it's best to take the metro, but it's also possible walking. The owners were both lovely and breakfast was perfect. I was very satisfied and the quality for the price was great.
The rooms were very well appointed. The bathroom was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious. The location superb. The owners were delightful to interact with.
