I found all aspects of Manoir Ogygia beautiful and relaxing, inside the property were plenty of relaxing candles, low lighting and moody background music. Outside the garden is full of interesting objet d'art and seating. Breakfast is served in the beautiful extension and the food was excellent with eggs cooked personally to your preference. The only imporvement in my view would be regarding the bed linen, I would prefer Egyptian Cotton.

Manoir Ogygia was a pleasant hotel however it was let down by a couple of factors. Aside from the negative points, the rest of the hotel was nice enough (small) and breakfast was ok. It is a shame as it could be a really nice accommodation - the staff were very accommodating and friendly however we would not stay here again due to the cleanliness of our room and the lack of WIFI as advertised. The hotel advertises free WIFI throughout the hotel and this was one of the main factors of selecting it as my husband needs to have access to emails at all times. Unfortunately, we were unable to get WIFI at any point during our stay which caused a huge inconvenience. The hotel manager advised it wasn't that reliable - if this is the case, it shouldn't be advertised. The other thing that let the hotel down was the cleanliness of our room. It clearly hadn't been hoovered as there was dirt and dust all over the floor and the bed spread had lots of fresh stains all over it - I took the bed spread to the hotel manager and she advised it was only sent off for cleaning once a month and she took it off me and despite being told I would be given a different cover to use, I wasn't! We therefore had no cover for the 2 nights we stayed there!

Everything - very close to the centre of town but amazingly quiet and secluded. Each room decoratted beautifully and comfortable to the point of luxurious. Exceedingly warm and friendly welcome, lovely food prepared individually and altogether fabulous.

The staff were very friendly, food was excellent and the facilities were exactly as per the description. The location was good for access to the main town and the surrounding areas. We really loved our stay at the manoir, but they only thing that we could complain about would be the towelling robes in our room, they need to be replaced with new ones.

A delightful quiet little hotel set in a large garden in a small Flanders town. Staff were very friendly and meals especially in the evening were tremendous. Lots of trinkets everywhere means the whole place has lots of character - the total opposite of minimalist.Very spacious and comfortable bedroom but be warned that the shower and bath were not partitioned off so not for the prude. Within easy reach of the Channel ports and ww1 sights Would have appreciated a kettle and tea / coffee facilities in the room

Kleinschalig luxehotelletje.

And last but not least: de gastvriendelijkjheid van de eigenaars.
