Beautiful place with lovely decor.

Ridiculously expensive taxis for short journey as the taxis had to travel from Brussels.

We booked this hotel with a group of friends,but as we all arrived at different times of day,they had upgraded some of our group to the other part of the hotel.when my wife and I arrived with another couple we were told we wouldn't be upgraded so this meant we would be separated from the rest of the group.also the hotel we stayed at,we had to walk a 5 min walk to the other hotel for breakfast or bar facilities,something the website never mentioned.overall I thought the staff were very rude!!!

the swimming pool had to be paid extra and this is not mentioned clearly anywhere... not on booking.com nor on the official site of the hotel The walls in the manoir were so thin that you could hear everything from the people next door...

Excellent value for money: our room was ample and with a bow window looking towards the lake, very comfortable beds. In the lobby you could have free coffee, water and fruit juices.

A minor one: to check-in, check-out and have breakfast you have to go to another location, two minutes distant so you have to take the car.

The view was spectacular. Martins Manoir is extra accomodation for Chateau Du Lac so its like having your own private chateau on the lake. It was fun walking down to the Chateau Du Lac for breasfasts and into the small town for dinners. Buffet breakfast is fantastic!

The reply to our booking did not let us know that we needed to check in at The Chateau Du Lac and then proceed to Martins Manoir up the road. At the end of a very long trip, in the rain, it was not so fun to have all the suitcases sitting in the rain whilst trying to get into our accomodation to find that we needed to check in at another location before returning to Martins Manoir.

Le confort des chambres,la décoration sobre et de bon goût dans l'harmonie des tons,et surtout l'excellent petit déjeuner servi dans le restaurant du Château avec une vue imprenable sur le LAC ! Parfait.

De grote bed, balkon en rustige sfeer.

De WC/toilet en badkamer zitten apart. De WC/toilet heeft geen kraan.

Stora trevliga rum. Fin utsikt från höjden.

Bokningen var inte registrerad när vi kom dit, tur de hade lediga rum. Ingen personal på hotellet/mat/frukost. Fick gå till Martin's Hotels Château du Lac.

Le Manoir devrait être rafraichi ...

Tout était parfait comme on l'espérait. Nous avons passer un agréable week-end,nous en garderons un execellent souvenir et nous reviendrons certainement au martin's manoir.

Dommage que le petit déjeuner ne se fasse pas au manoir méme mais au chateau du lac (quand la météo est mauvaise comme ça a été le cas pour notre séjours changer d'hotel pour aller se restaurer n'est pas motivant).

Annexe d'un 5*, ppas de personnel sur place. Obligés de monter nos bagages à l'étage, sans ascenceur. Obligation de descendre à l'hôtel, sous la pluie éventuellement, pour le petit-déjeuner. A déconseiller en dehors de la saison.. En outre, la réservation n'avait pas été enregistrée..

cela fait déjà plusieurs que nous séjournons dans ce joli manoir et nous y reviendrons encore - petit déj excellent servi au château

L'absence de service , de personnel

De manoir was werkelijk een openbaring, goedkoper dan het chateau maar zoveel gezelliger, zowel locatie als inrichting, echt alsof je in een persoonlijke villa verblijft, zeer rustig tijdens de nacht en ochtend. Dit is werkelijk een onklopbaar verblijf wat prijs kwaliteit betreft. Zonder meerprijs kan je ontbijten in het naburig chateau , het ontbijt is verzorgd en zeer volledig. De keuken van het restaurant is verfijnd, het personeel is professioneel en sprak spontaan Nederlands, kortom het was een aangename verrassing.

Chateau du Lac is luxeus en prettig, mooie sauna en welness faciliteiten.

We hadden Martin's Manoir geboekt, maar kwamen zoals veel andere gasten schrijven terecht bij Chateau du Lac. Er werd ons geen keus geboden en de nieuwe kamer was klein en benauwd.

Alles was goed verzorgd en netjes (incl. Het ontbijt)
