Large spacious room in annexe to the main hotel. Bed comfy . Quiet at night . Breakfast options good. Windows could be opened wide for fresh air. Courtesy car to train station from main hotel so that I could catch my train to Brussels.

Trekking down to main hotel for breakfast, Faulty air conditioning. This was repaired but rather hot whilst it needed to be repaired.

Pleasant atmosphere, nice place, great facilities

If you don't like exercise, you must know that there's some steep walk to do when you check in or out or when you go for breakfast. If you need exercise, turn this into an advantage

Location near the lake and main hotel. Pretty outlook and very quiet.

The shower was tired and could have done with a deep clean and renovation.

When you book, you are on the website of the castle, and it doesn't tell you that the Manoir is 2km away from the main castle building. In the Manoir there is no people, you don't get breakfast over there (it means you need to take your car to go to. The castle to have breakfast!), no bar, room old fashion which needs renovation. Clearly not the best solution for me.

Location of the manoir. Comfortable rooms. Peace and quiet with many eating places nearby.

Being part of a big conference style hotel where you have to check in (queues) and have breakfast.

    location, atmosphere, breakfast, staff-attention

    1. No staff in the Manoir itself, but the walk to the chateau was rewarding in itself and refreshments were foreseen; therefore I could as well range this remark under "what I liked". 2. The spa-facilities could only be used at an extra fee of 30 Euro's per person. Not that we needed these but this certainly is not value for money. 3. Pushing the point of being an eco-hotel. Hotels in itself are not, nor can be, very eco. Eco would e.g. mean a more modest breakfast/meals but these happens to be one of the "atouts" of the hotel .....
