The charming hotel Maraboe in Bruges is situated on the edge of the city centre. Uniquely located a short stroll from the picturesque Reien (canals), the lovely "'t Zand" and the concert Hall.

Food & beverage

Super breakfast in a wonderful decorated room. All kinds of bread and meat + cheese, yoghurt and juice are served by the owners. You can also serve yourself at a small buffet with cereals and fresh (season, ... strawberries, blueberries, etc.) + dry fruits. You can also order a boiled or fried egg and we will prepare and serve it with the best care possible. We serve you tea, coffee or hot chocolate. On other request, just ask us on check-in.

Travel information

For the motorway from Zeebrugge:

Take the N 31, direction Bruges - E 40 - E 403. Once you see the signs for Waggelwater- Bruges, AZ-St. Jan, leave the motor-road. You pass two traffic lights and then you keep to the right lane. Just before the square, you will see our hotel full of pink flowers (only during the summer).

For the motorway from Antwerp, Ghent, Brussels or Ostend:

On the highway E 40, directions Oostende or directions Brussels, take exit number 8 "Brugge-Zeebrugge" just after the factories of Siemens and Tyco-electronics. You will now very quickly reach the motor-road E403 to Zeebrugge. Pass 4 traffic lights, two underpasses and one more traffic light and then take the exits Waggelwater-Bruges, AZ-St. Jan. Then pass two more traffic lights and keep to the most right lane of the road avenue. Just before the square, you will see our hotel full of pink towers (only during the summer).

For the motorway from Calais:

From the motorway from Calais, you take the E 40, direction Brussels, and then the exit Bruges - Zeebrugge A17 or E403 and very quickly you will reach the motor-road E403 to Zeebrugge. Then pass 4 traffic lights, 2 underpasses and one more traffic light and then take the exits Waggelwater- Bruges, AZ-St. Jan. After this, you pass two more traffic lights and keep to the most right lane of the road avenue. Just before the square, you will see our hotel full of pink towers (only during the summer).

From the motorway from Paris:

Take the highway from Paris (A1) till the border, and once you are in Belgium you have to take the E17 and then you quickly reach the E403 till Bruges. Now you will drive on the bridge over the highway E40 and very quickly you reach the motor-road to Zeebrugge. Then you will pass 4 traffic lights, two underpasses and one more traffic light and then you should take the exit Waggelwater - Bruges. Now you will pass another two traffic lights and you should keep to the right lane of the road avenue. Just before the square, you will see our hotel full of pink flowers (summer, in the winter more green plants are on the windows on the outside)

From the station:

Exit the building through the train station's main exit, and cross the big square by going slightly to the left until you reach the traffic lights. Now cross the busy street and when you have reached the other side, cross the street yet again to the left and walk straight into the park. Keep to the right in the park until you reach the big red building (the new Concert hall) and then stay on the right side of that construction site. At the end of the park you will see a lot of hotels with restaurants, which you will walk past, until the end of the square. Then, when you are at the end of the square, you go to the left, again till the end and then into the street "Hoefijzerlaan". The hotel will be the fifth house, counting from the corner of the same street.
