Martin’s Brugge is just behind the famous 13th-century Belfry and 185 yards from the Grote Markt. It has a terrace and a cocktail bar, and all rooms have a flat-screen TV.

Location was very good. Close to station and all shops and bars. Food in the restaurant was excellent.
Breakfast was OK We had to pay by cash. They said the card machine was down, but only told us when we were leaving. Not very helpful and not very nice about it. Not bothered it cost us to draw money on credit cards or to change English at a rate of £1 - Euro 1.10. When we said it was costing us to pay in cash (euros) the guy said in perfect English he did not speak English. It was poor and we won't stop there again because of the lady's attitude.
Fair price - quality following the three lines guidelines and legislation. 165 euro is not correct , but following staff comments: "well, it's possible in Brugge, we can make it."
165 euro for poor quality and noise. Decent bed and bathroom with internet, ventilation and a good Belgium breakfast .
Super clean, very modern, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and lovely staff.
Street noise through the night.
Close to the train station (walk or one bus stop.) Excellent breakfast. Walking distance to all the city sights.
The restaurant attached to the hotel- rude waitress. We were told we would get a discount if we ate there- we didn't.
Great location, right next to the 't Zand square, close to several restaurants and a few minutes walking from the city center.
The bathroom was a little bit small
convenient location breakfast is good
noise outside no wireless connection on top floor no power point near where the kettle is placed
Staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and there was a seating area in the room. It was good to have the tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The bar next door was noisy. One night the loud music went on until 3 am so sleeping was impossible.
An attractive looking bedroom with enough room.
Very dingy reception area, not much bigger than a kiosk. Our room was right beside a busy street. Even with the windows closed it was noisy throughout the night The bath room was inside the bedroom with just a partition that went part of the way to the ceiling. Not much more privacy than a curtain. Not very pleasant listening for your partner
The location on the 't Zand with underground parking and access to the old city is great but finding the hotel, unloading luggage, etc. is a chore. Breakfast was more than satisfactory.
The one staff person was surly and acted as if he was doing us a favour by checking us in. He was no more friendly in the morning. The bathroom was smelly and felt unclean. Whilst the bed was good, the noise from the bars below made for very difficult sleep though most of the night and early morning. The WiFi in the lobby was quick but no access in the rooms.
Everything top breakfast the best 'room fantastic 'where the hotel is right in the centre' eeverything about the hotel is excellent
Can honestly say I loved everything would highly recomend the lace hotel
Very kind staff at the reception and breakfastroom. I asked on my reservation for extra wishes (doublebed - view - high floor) and it was so given as i wished. Very good and recomendable hotel.
Room was very clean andmodern. Bathroom shower was great.
Unfortunately, the hotel is located beside the public market. Not normally an issue, in fact a convenience. But on the night we were there in Bruges Belgium was playing at the World Cup and the game broadcast onto a 30 meter tev screen more or less across the street. Over 15,000 people attended. Belgium lost. we slept very little because of the noise outside until 3:00 am: police cars, fan fights, arguments, ad so forth. Very uncomfortable with fans trying to get into the hotel to use the washroom and so forth. After that, the city sent in huge cleaning crews that made much noise and then set up a huge market by 6:00 am. Do not stay there if the market is being used for concerts, games, etc.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
There was no wifi in the room. The room was not as clean as expected. Also, I did not like the idea of needing to ring the reception bell and waiting more than 5 mins before someone attended to me (there is no one at the reception desk the whole day).
Location is good to reach nearest bars and Market place. Breakfast is quite rich
Noisy pubs outside Smal (I mean very very small) WC-shower combo (looks like from ferry).
Central location. Good value for money. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
Although the bathroom was functional, the shower was tiny. No mirror in the bedroom. Not good for 3 girls trying to get ready for a night out! WiFi is only in the lobby and kept disconnecting.
The room, the breakfast and the location.
The stairways need repairing.
The room could accomodate our family of three.
Noise level on the street and bars was high. Bathroom facilities in room was poor.
The staff was extremely friendly and gave us good recommendations. The breakfast was excellent and very tasty, especially the salads.
The room itself was ok, the bathroom could really use an upgrade. The real problem was the noise, if your room was facing the main street. The entire night up until 6 am the club downstairs played extremely loud music. Closing the windows would not help either.
1. The free breakfast was generous and pretty good. 2. The location, although not in the Brugges city center as advertised, is not too far a walk from the center. 3. The hotel is a relatively easy 20 minute walk from the train station.
1. The room was incredibly small - the door to the closet wouldn't even open. Given the space, hangers would not work in the closet. There was barely room for the shower in the room. 2. There was a noisy fair, with rides, shooting galleries, etc. going on directly in front of the hotel - apparently occurs every year for one month! Of course this was not mentioned in your on-line booking material!! You can imagine how this contrasted with what I expected of a hotel in 12th century Brugges. I was expecting a quiet respite in the center of Brugges, especially for the high prices I paid for this hotel room. 3. There were lots of intoxicated and high guests in the hotel when I arrived on a Saturday evening, perhaps as part of the fair going on in front of the hotel.
the room was spotless and adequate for our stay. Location is perfect for Bruges and the centre.
location is perfect
Fairly good location Modern decor
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff Despite booking a double room, we had two single beds with separate bed covers. In my opinion that's a twin room! No wi-fi in rooms, just in lobby
Nice, small, efficient room. Staff was very helpful.
Not the fault of the hotel, but very noisy. right above very active bars that are noisy until 3 or 4a.
The smell of vomit in the lift, the chipped sink, the intrusive staff, the rundown furniture, the absence of Wifi in the room. I can't comment on the food or breakfast as I didn't dare try it.
Clean, modern comfortable room. Very close to everything
So loud until the early hours outside the hotel.
