The room was spacious and you have access to the pool of the hotel.
I would put a kettle or filters and coffee adapted to coffee machine available. I was not possible to make coffee quickly.
staff very bad and rude they claim it is apartment not marriotte no cleaning services no net wife very noisy If you walk 20th like you're middle of Africa half of the stuff in kitchen not working Phone also complained no reply in 3 days their reply because special rate I started like I am staying free of charge
It was clean and tidy. it was quite central to move around easily
charges for internet were high .
24hr concierge next door in the Rennaisance hotel
Mouldy sealant. Tired furniture. Needs updating
The location, in the heart of the EU area.
It is a depedency of the Hotel Reinassance. You have to go there for any request or assistance.
The staff are their best asset
Definitely not a standard 5 star While comfortable, not luxurious very dated by todays standards Charging for WiFi is definitely not 5 star let alone standard in these times
We got a great price for 2 nights. Close to centre and metro. Room was big and clean. Kitchen had dishwasher so no washing up. Was safe as you had to use your room key to get into building and up lift. Swimming pool was nice. Would stay again.
The pool didnt have a Jacuzzi would of been nice to chill after a day of sight seeing. Sauna couldn't be unisex if people are getting naked in it !
Very good location
I really enjoyed myself and definite going to recommend it to friends at work.
Value for money Pool Space
No slippers and robes provided
Hotel is dirty, halls are not washed, there is a permanent smell of kitchen everywhere. No bathrobes in the apartment. No warm water for more than 1 shower. I.e. rooms water is individually heated and it is therefore impossible to take more than 1 shower per day. The reception tried to invoice us more than what was on booking.com reservation. The hotel's category on booking.com is misleading: this is maximum a 2* hotel. There was no internet connection.
The staff were truly excellent, we arrived at 12 but because our room was availble, we could check in straight away. The room was excellent, next to the European paliament and only a 20 minute slow stroll to the centre of Brussels. Such good value for money, I will only stay here again in the future.
Condition in the bathroom, shower didn't work
We choose to stay in the Marriott because we could have a one bedroom apartment, it is useful to have a kitchen plus a separate living room for when our toddler is in bed. The apartment was great - a good size, clean and quiet. The location was good - right next door to the European Parliament and about a 10-15 min walk to the Grand Place. It was only a 5-10 min taxi ride from the Eurostar station. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was superb - delicious and a wide variety of items.
We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and weren't impressed with the menu - it didn't have a lot of choice. Saying that, I had the burger which was delicious. The cocktail menu in the bar was also a little disappointing - not very exciting and they didn't have the ingredients for half of them!
The apartment is large enough. You can access the building with your key, no receptionist, never seen other guests. Up to 3 nights, none comes to bother you for room cleaning.
The first day hot water was missing. A high speed internet at the apartment costs 11 EUR a day! Bathrobe and slippers are not provided. The internet was not working one of the days – the Hotel management was not able to help. Shame for so called 5-stars accommodation! No separate heating system in the apartment. The conditioner-air system is very old and does not allow warming the whole apartment even when turned on till 35°. No ventilation at the bathroom. The equipment at the kitchen is very old. Neither the oven nor the washing machine worked correctly. The very minimum of cutlery is provided, clearly not sufficient. The balcony is not covered at all, that results in impossibility to use the one at all when it is raining. Conclusion: certainly NOT a 5-stars accommodation! Too expensive for the quality of the service offered
TV wasn't working, we got another room.
The staff of the hotel was not aware of free parking in the weekend only two streets from the hotel. The tried to sell us a place in their garage instead.
We've been to this hotel ever since we're travelling for business in Belgium. Very clean and big rooms Nice reception and great staff Hudge gym and spa, very good for relaxation
180 euros smoking fee so smoke outside guys !
5 nins walk to Metro station, 2 mins to Brussels Luxembourg station. Supermarket 1 min away.
Business district, nothing open on weekends. Weekdays are fine. Free internet in lobby is not stable.
NIce apartment, spacious
Absolutely not a drop of water at 8:30 am and when I informed staff at check out, the reply was merely they had shut it off to do some maintenance. No discount on extras, i.e. breakfast was offered in lieu.
clean, spacious, good beds and facilities
poor service on reception, forgot to book taxi, not enough staff to check in guests. should never have anyone working behind reception who is unable to check in clients - gives a bad impression
There was nothing to like
You name it no trolley for baggage and its self service bathroom balcony kitchen location it should be 3 star not five I'm sure their is a mistake in the rating it bribing someone to get the 5 star
The apartment was nice , spacious. Perfect for my baby to move around The breakfast was nice
The hotel renaissance experience was horrible. It was 20 degrees outside and they had the central cooling system which made the room so chilly even when the air conditioner was switched off. Me and my baby felt ill since it was so cold in the room and was not at all comfortable. I was traveling with a baby and they didn't give me an early check in, despite I emailed them before my arrival to which I never received a reply ! After one day at the hotel we went to the mariotte apartment which was our original booking. some staff didn't know any city information and were struggling to give information. In the apartment the gas stove was an electric one which was too fancy to operate ..
Great location, very close to Luxembourg train station.
The facilities state free wifi. As such, I booked the room. After checking-in and going to my room, I called reception and asked for the wifi code. I was told that wifi was not included in my rate. I pointed out that this was not stated in my booking, so I had to assume that it was, as per the hotel facilities. I was told this only included wifi in the lobby! But it doesn't state that anywhere. Very disappointed. Went to a local restaurant and used their free wifi, instead of ordering room service. Also doubtful I will book here, on principal. When will these places learn?
The suites are spacious, and the beds very comfortable. It was easy to check in and out next door at the Renaissance, staff were very pleasant and efficient. A cab stand was a block away, and often cabs were in front of the Renaissance. The neighborhood was interesting, quiet, unthreatening, and convenient to Brussels attractions.
We stayed twice on a recent trip, and in one suite the AC was weak (staff advised turning it to max - it wasn't broken, just not a great unit). AC was fine in the second suite.
