Located 20 minutes from the center of Brussels and yet in green and peaceful surroundings, this 4-star hotel is ideal for visits to the city. The hotel is also convenient for long walks in the harmonious landscapes, golf, biking and so much more. In La Sucrerie restaurant, originally a sugar refinery built in the middle of the 19th century and now beautifully restored, our chef lets you savour the finest cuisine, while in the neo-colonial Club Bar you are welcome for that last drink. Parking is available in front of the hotel. Hotel Rooms: 79

The hotel was very clean and modern with it being located a 10 minute drive to the Waterloo battle site and 10 minute walk to the city centre. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The continential breakfast was the best in our stay in Europe and even better included in the price of the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would recommend it to anybody.

My room was cosy, clean and spacious. The staff was cold, I did not feel as welcome guest. The hotel is quite big with long corridors. I heard every sound from the neighbouring rooms.

Good service good value rooms The bar drinks were very expensive and the food in the restaurant was good but there were no cheaper options for family or business travellers.

The price of the room, although the meal was abit expensive but very nice. It was excellent location for the waterloo battle field and the shops. For some reason which disturbed me slightly is that it spelt very strongly of cigarette smoke even thought it was meant to be a no smoking hotel.

Comfortable bed. Perfect location for visiting friends We came down for breakfast at 9 20am and the buffet was rather depleted of fresh fruit salad, grain bread, coffee- onlly coffee was eventually refilled while we were there, despite me asking for the bread. The breakfast room was very busy and the 3 staff around were having difficult coping with replenishing food, clearing and resetting tables etc- felt rather sorry for them as they were doing their best but the service was not adequate for the numbers of people and the class of the hotel.

Het was een erg kort verblijf maar we hebben genoten van de luxe van de kamer (superior) en vonden het personeel erg vriendelijk. Helaas hebben we geen maaltijden in het hotel kunnen gebruiken.

An attractive hotel, conveniently and well located at Waterloo. Close to main shopping area/countryside yet peaceful. Kind and helpful service. Restful yet with amenities available for activities or relaxation. This is another return visit and again, too short. Looking forward to the next stay!

Close to Brussels by train. Breakfast with a good variety. Quiet rooms. The staff in the restaurant wore very dirty clothing and the hygienic standard in the restaurant and at the breakfast buffet was really bad. I.e. there was no tissue to hold the bread that everybody touched, and even the waiters tie was dirty from old food (same dirty tie 2 nights !) It was really disgusting !

Nice place, helpful staff, great location, lots of local restuarants within walking distance. Good breakfast spread. Nice big rooms, comfortable beds, great power shower, and TV with BBC and CNN. Overall good experience, as we got the rooms at special offer half-rate. Restuarant a little too nouvelle cuisine for my taste and resutingly a little expensive, but food was good. Bar a bit pricy at 6 euros a pint.
