Martin's Brugge    

Excellent hotel. We were given an upgrade by the hotel. Couldn't be situated any better being right around the block from the Markt. I would definitely stay here again

Our room had a horrible smell. It smelt like the sewer coming through the bathroom. In all fairness we did not complain nor ask for another room as you could get a whiff of the smell throughout the city also.

The location of this hotel is good, right in the middle of the city center.

Staff was not very helpful. Check-in only as of 15:00, which is very late in comparison with other hotels, not very convenient. Not a very clean hotel, bad smell in the reception area, and saw a cockroach in the elevator! Low value for money

Location was perfect. Steps away from the Markt and Belfry. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was amazing!! Great selection of cheeses. I will definitely stay here again!

The shower curtain was really thin so it blows around and sticks to you when you shower. The coffee at breakfast wasn't very tasty. Would've loved a cappuccino machine instead.

The staff were extremely helpful and informative. Room clean and comfortable and everything you could want for the price. Location excellent right in the centre of town just behind the town square and a short distance from the railway station.

Unfortuantely room safe did not work despite assistance from the reception staff so in the end gave up trying. Otherwise no problems everything great.

They do not have double beds at all, dispite the fact I specifically asked for it and they told me they do have.

This hotel deserves only the highest of praise...from its reception area right through to the bedroom, it is stylish and luxurious yet friendly and affordable. The staff are exemplary, the facilities are flawless and the location is perfect. I highly recommend it; it deserves its excellent reputation.

Superb location, great view from the top room under the roof, friendly staff, quiet and cozy, just wonderful for a city trip.

Breakfast outrageously expensive:-((( 17 euro in the city of goffres, croissants and chocolate?!

Staffs!!!! I forgot my camera backpack containing my passport and 2000 eur in taxi with no reciept taken. I recalled when I was just in lobby but couldn't catch that taxi. I was totally blackout. Staff at reception desk immediatey called to every taxi companies she had the numbers (4-5 companies) and taken into her account. Very impressive !!!!!! Even all companies checked but never found that taxi which just dropped me. I didn't know what to do. She asked me to wait for one more hour before going to police station because she believed that taxi driver would call to Martin's Brugge immediately he found my backpack left in his taxi. Next 15 minute, that taxi came right in front of the hotel and returned me the backpack with nothing lost!!!!!! I gave big tip to him with happiness. Thank you brugge, I like everything there, I will surely go back there soon :)

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a perfect location for discovering Bruges by foot.

The rooms were not very sound proof

Great location, and friendly, helpful staff.

There is almost no daylight in rooms 409 and 410, and the price should probably reflect this.

Breakfast was nice and the bar was good.

We asked for a double bed but were given two single beds moved together with a sheet over both leaving a big crack in the middle which wasn't very comfortable.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, just around the corner of Markt where you can find lots of great restaurants. The bedrooms were nice and clean, not too big, but a good size for two people.
