perfect location right in the center of town (facing the belfry), great team, very clean. very comfortable
bit pricey (it is bruges!), bed a little to soft, dated bathroom
The hotel is very central and the staff helpful and knowledgeale.
This is a great location for a good price. It's a clean modern hotel with a look that fits more than a 3,star hotel. Our room was in the new part still being 'renovated/extended nearby. Friendly reception staff.
This was ok as no workers were heard, but the bathroom door would not close properly and needed lifting by me to let my partner have privacy. Reception notifyed but nothing changed. It was also cold all the time, our air con seemed to work on the thermostat but never warmed up. Bathroom was stone cold always, going to the loo may as well been outside. We think it is just poorly fitted Windows as all were shut. There is no tea and coffee facilities in the room which I miss.
location near centrum, 5 minutes walk to market and nice local shops the fragrance are very good, you can feel the freshness from the first time you enter the lobby
a bit expensive
friendly staff. great location. Dining area nice and bright. Would stay here again.
great location, very kind staff, comfortable
The location is excellent just of the market square and easy walk or cycle around Brugge.
Oddly enough the shower was too powerful, no espresso machine available in the morning was a let down and the coffee in the breakfast room was poor.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Awesome location.
Hotel was in a perfect location in the centre of the beautiful old city. The food was great and of course the hot chocolate fabulous! Fantastic tasting beer Brugse Zot from the local brewery.
Nothing except the rain, but no one can do anything to control the weather!!
We arrived at Martin's hotel in Bruges, parked in the secure car park and didn't have to go back to the car until it was time to go home again. Everything was so close by and we could walk everywhere.
The only negative was no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which is a very minor point.
Location, beds, buffet breakfast, v helpful staff, relaxing bar.
Nothing to dislike.
This is an excellent hotel in every way would recommend it to everybody will be back again and again location staff and breakfast fab.
no kettle tea/coffee in room. room décor.
The location was excellent, the breakfast was very good and the staff were excellent.
Mattress tipped us into middle. The first room we were in smelled of sewerage and we had to be moved and rooms were extremely hot.
The location of hotel was central and easy access to buses. Breakfasts were very good value, Arthie's bistro being a stone's throw from the hotel. Room upgrade due to work on the hotel in this quiet period, which was near our first room..
Missed the coffee/tea making facilities in bedroom and as there were no other facilities in hotel to have a warm drink until the bar opened at 17.30, one had to leave the hotel to look elsewhere.
Location location location
Breakfast expensive, would've been happy to pay a little more for the room upfont if it had included breakfast. But don't let that put you off this excellent hotel.
Selection of beers in the bar and mini fridge.
Nothing it was all good
- comfy room - kind staff - hotel position right behind the city tower
- maybe the air conditioning system could be better
The location of this hotel could not have been more centeral located beside the famous bell tower, room was a little bit on small side but adequte and it was a value room after all,the hotel was very clean and warm, breakfast was fantastic an aray of items to choose from to set you up for the day,I would happily reccomend this hotel to everyone,
Fabulous location, right on Market Square. Quiet. Great room, friendly helpful staff, wonderful breakfasts - could not fault it.
We liked almost everything about this hotel, especially the location, so close to everthing this beautiful town has to offer.
Only one major fault was the lack of coffee/tea/kettle in the room. Not sure why such a nice hotel would have such a policy. Breakfast was quite expensive but we found a great spot for half price on the town square, 2 mins walk.
The hotel was spotlessly lean and comfortable, staff were friendly and location was perfect.
First hotel I have stayed in with no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Heating had to be controlled from reception - each time we wanted to change it we had to ring reception.
Everything but the hairs in our tub. The layout of the hotel is nice, location is great. Staff is friendly and helpful to a certain extent.
The hairs in my tub... When we complained about the hairs in our tub, staff attempted to switch us to a different room which also had hairs in its bath tub. By the third and final room switch, there were no hairs in the tub. There were no offers for a free beverage in the mini bar etc. for the inconvenience. Staff could of been a bit better at accommodating us within the situation.
The location is fantastic! One street back from main square-but very quiet. They were very accommodating in changing our 2nd room from double beds to twin beds for our teenage kids. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend it to others!
The breakfast was very expensive at 17 Euro each so we had to find other places for breakfast but that was ok as everything so close by.
