Hotel Maxim is in the heart of the city in a quiet neighborhood. The beach is only 1000 ft away and you can easily walk to the center of the city. The hotel offers renovated rooms with a private bathroom with a bathtub. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace to sit outside. Breakfast is served in buffet style with several different kinds of rolls and bread. Start the day with cereals, yogurt, fruit salad, and several tasty spreads. Boiled eggs are available. The hotel bar is worth a visit when you feel like having a drink. During the summer, you can enjoy your drink on the grounds. A variety of restaurants are situated around the hotel that can provide a tasty evening meal. Restaurant Cajou, near the hotel, offers excellent fish, crayfish and grill specialties. By car or by tram, you can reach Plopsaland in 8 minutes. There's an elevator in the building that allows you to go to the parking lot. Design of the room and its location, only 300 meters from the beach. Also you can book a garage for the car which is really nice as the streets are impossible to park in.

The staff were utterly superb, friendly, knowledgable and nothing too much for them. The evening meal was fullsome and healthy, the breakfast the very best I have had in any hotel in Europe, an enormous choice of fresh produce and wonderful coffee. The room was comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated in 'feel good' colours and spotlessley clean. Parking is underground, spacious and secure. We loved the Maxim and will deffinately return as it's an ideal location from Le Shuttle, easy to get to and close to shops, beach, restaurants and transport links. We'll be returning with our bikes soon! Danke!

Good central location in town, easy access to beach and shops. Staff helpful. Under ground parking garage a great asset as it is a busy street with not alot of parking. Free internet access very handy. Disappointed that they advertisted accepting American Express but did not accept this as a form of payment.

Attentive staff. Nothing was a problem to them.The buffet breakfast was excellent. Could have tea/coffe facilities in bedroom, also information in rooms about the hotel meal times etc and the local area.

Personnel très très accueillant et chaleureux Vetusté des robinets dans la sdb + pare avant pas très pratique du tout dans la cuvette de la sdb où tout l'eau ruiselle à l'extérieur! Chambre trop petite. Taie d'oreiller très ancien (=déchirure!!!) Prix parking 10€: trop cher.

Petit hôtel très sympathique situé au calme dans la vieille ville de De Panne. Le personnel est très souriant et accueillant. C'est la deuxième fois que j'y séjourne et j'y retournerai.

Le sourire du personnel ; la propreté de la chambre ; le lit (spacieux, confortable); la salle de bain (très propre, très agréable); la télévision à disposition ; ... Une chose m'a déplu : rien n'indique, sur le site internet, que la chambre n'est libre qu'à partir de 14h. Etant donné que la chambre doit être libre pour 11h, l'hôtel n'est pas mis une journée entière au service du client, ce que je trouve regrettable. Néanmoins, je présume que l'explication réside dans le temps qu'il est nécessaire de prendre pour nettoyer la chambre. Une clarification serait la bienvenue sur votre site.

L'hôtel chaleureux dans ce petit hôtel est très agréable. L'hôtel est idéalement situé à proche distance de la plage et des commerces. A recommander. Hônneteté hors pair. J'avais réservé une chambre pour 2 personnes pour 2 nuit et une des personnes quittait la chambre le deuxième jour. L'hôtelier a réduit le prix à une chambre single pour la deuxième nuit. Très agréable surprise

Hotel agreable et chaleureux. Accueil très sympathique et souriant, très grande variété du buffet petit déjeuner et chambre très confortable. Côté pratique garage sous l'hôtel et accessibilité direct à la chambre via l'ascenseur. A recommander le restaurant cajou ou nous avons très bien manger.
