My daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful visit at the Hans Memling Hotel! The staff members were wonderful- helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. The room was clean and well maintained, as were the public areas in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and the location- 2-3 blocks from the square- was perfect! If you are looking for a place to stay in Bruges, stay here- you will not have any regrets!

We enjoyed our stay and we like to use medium size family hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a good room and bathroom but there were no shelves to put our wash bags and toiletries on. You need to correct this so that the facilities can rank as excellent. Breakfast was adequate but could be improved.

Very nice and included breakfast: Requested view and got it. Nice bar and sitting area; Friendly staff; Room access was a little difficult. Front desk staff doubling to mind the bar took time. Top floor room had limited headroom.

The Staff were very freindly and helpful, the room very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.If you are visiting Bruges historic centre it is ideal. Part of the bathroom floor needed retiling but that is a very minor matter compared to how great every thing else was.

Hotel staff was welcome and helpfull. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city with walking distance to the center place and all attractions, at the quiet street. The breackfast was good, with good choice of dishes. The room was clean, with comfortable bed and big bathroom with individual washbasins. At the price we paid, nothing.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and breakfast is served in a bright and lovely room. The location is excellent for walking around town and enjoying restaurants. Our breakfast was rushed because of our travel plans, but it was good with a nice selection and more than enough to start our day with. Our room could use a fresh coat of paint and the bathroom grout was a bit grungy. The sheets and towels were crisp, clean and fresh, so it wasn't that the room was dirty. It could just use a little freshening up. Don't let this turn you off from the hotel, just know what to expect for the price and location.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Comfortable Bed and good size bathroom. Location good. Location good but near late night venues so noisy at weekends. Old hotel - so creaking floors especially noticable on ground floor bedrooms with first floor rooms above. Also conversations from adjoining rooms can be heard.

Very well located hotel, few minutes walking from the Mark Place. It's a nice hotel for a few days. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok. Too much noise that you can hear from others rooms and from people walking in the hotel.

The location was excellent within walking distance to all the facilities. The breakfast was very good and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The exterior of the hotel looks quite nice, but internally it has an outdated neglected air, it certainly needs updating.

The reception staff were excellent. All spoke perfect English. We were allowed to check in early as our room was ready. When we asked the lady on reception to book us onto a trip around Flanders Fields she was only too happy to do it. Unfortunately the trip was full but not to be outdone she persevered until she found a firm who had vacancies - well beyond the call of duty, but thank you!!! Our en-suite room was lovely, the hotel itself was in a very central position and breakfast was very good. The small bar sold a good selection of local beers very competitively priced. We had a great time in Bruges and it's surrounding area. We will definitely return and when we do we,ll have no hesitation in booking the Hans Memling once again.

The location was excellent only a couple of minutes from the main square, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. . Overall for the price a very good option in Brugge. The breakfast wasn't so good we arrived at 09.45am and there was hardly anything left to choose from (breakfast ended at 10am) so we thought it should of been replenished.

Loved the location - if was only a few meters away from the Grote Markt and there's a bus stop nearby (not that you really need it). The staff were really friendly and the breakfast adequate. The rooms were also very comfortable and clean.
