The staff, from the folks at the Reservation desk to the maid, were simply delightful. There was rain, cold and it was very windy for 2 of the 3 days during my stay. The windows/doors to the outside were very old and the wind actually blew the curtains away from the door. Although I did not complain, the room was a bit chilly. |

The location was ideal. All main attractions are within walking distance (5 minutes from Grand Place & right next to Rue Neuve & City2 shopping mall). All hotel staff were pleasant & attentive. When I mentioned that the hairdryer in the room was not working, another one was brought to the room within 5min. Room service was excellent & brought within 15min. I had mentioned that it was my daughter's 14th birthday & they brought a gift for her (sparkling apple cider & a box of chocolates). Buffet breakfast was plentiful. When I mentioned that we would be checking out very early to catch a 6am flight & would miss breakfast, they had a breakfast box ready for us. Requested wakeup call was on time & requested cab was waiting for us. Bravo! Room was too warm but we simply kept the window opened. |

Beautiful art noveau decor maintained in superb and elegant condition. Excellent pianist playing in foyer area near cocktail bar. Very clean, tidy and comfortable room. Very helpful and efficient reception staff. Excellent location. Excessively expensive internet access. All hotels catering for business travellers should provide WiFi throughout the hotel - including bedrooms - free of charge. It is now a standard requirement. |

I enjoyed the decoration, which is probably unique in Brussels. Location excellent very central. I could not try the restaurant as it was fully booked. Good breakfast with a wide choice. The lift was difficult to operate particularly if you had luggage with you. |

This is a historical, cultural heritage in the very center of Brussels, with all possible luxus. Beautiful breakfast restaurants and food. Art Deco cafe for small meals and drinks. Piano-foyee with deep leather furnitures and atmosphere. Famous restaurant for luxus meals. The reception desk is allways very helpful and kind and do their very best to serve the klient in best way.I have stayed here during several years, and will allways come back, on business or with family and friends. The beautiful rooms I use to get, have good lightening as well as beautiful decoration (and chandelier). |

Location is good, close to the Metro station and Grand Place. Breakfast was good. I excepected a better room, it looked absolutely different on internet. Free mini bar is poor (just 2 beers, 2 cokes, 2 waters) and we had to call the room service everyday to replenish it. Smell of drains in the bathroom. Our room 1030 faced the wall and had no natural light. Problems with the lift, no one was able to use it. |

Ambiance of the lobby and sitting areas was beautiful, the art deco style. This is not a five star hotel. The staff is not attentive and the interior rooms need attention. There is a lack of attention to detail through out. |

The room proposed was much smaller than the one I used to book, I was then transfered to another one of a lesser standard. |
