Lovely looking hotel with many original features and charms. Room was great Restaurant was to expensive not good value, poor range of choice and hopeless for vegetarians.Also slow booking in at reception and no help with luggage - staff seemed busy chatting. otherwise everything else was enjoyable |

The location is very central, which allows for hours of shopping and then a quick run back to the hotel for a bit of a rest and then you can go at it again. There are also lots of nice cafes and restaurants around, for a short pause, if you prefer. Though the building is quite old the hotel has not lost its appeal, while the marble floors and the bathroom bring a sense of luxury. I didn't appreciate, however, the fact that they charged my credit card before hand. The price for the roon was non-refundable but nevertheless, they could have waited until I checked out. That seemed a bit rude to me and left me with a bad impression of the management, if noone else. |

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The reception is spectacular however the room was diaapointing, the guy on reception was quite rude to us. We had got engaged in Antwerp and this was a treat for ourselves. We were bitterly disappointed. |

Fabulous decor, nice feel. Located very close to metro. I only stayed one night, checked in late and out early so I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the hotel as I would have liked. Better luck next time! Breakfast extra charge of €28 was beyond my allowable business expenses. |

Organisation of breakfest, you have to wate before entrance till somebody from staff let you sit instead of sit firstly and only after being asked the room number. There is no kofee machine in the room, and interier in rooms needs repairs. |

Location is excellent, if you want to do sightseeing. Cityhall and other tourist areas are only 10 minutes away.The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, big variety of fresh bread, eggs (boiled and scrambled), sausages, beacon, vegetables, smoked salmon, different types of ham, cheese, cornflakes, jams. In general, very well organized. Telephone in one room (we had two rooms) stoped working on the second day. However, as we stayed only for 3 nights, we didn`t insist on fixing this problem fast. |

The hotel has a really nice entrance. The room is very big and comfortable. The reception staff are not friendly. They also tried to charge us for roomservice which we did not order and was quite rude about it until they realised it was their mistake. Parking is a problem since a lot of public parking garages were closed on the Sunday when we were there. |

After visiting the website for the Hotel Metropole and reviewing the photos, I decided this was the place to stay in Brussels. I was extremely pleased with the accomodations, the ammeneties were wonderful. I selected just the least expensive room and was surprised to find it included a crystal chandelier. |

Well-appointed rooms that were kept spotless by housekeeping. The rooms were quiet. Staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Breakfast Room and selections were very good. The hotel is an architectural gem and centrally located. Nice but small fitness centre. Room A/C is inefficient |
