Very good location. All the attractions are in walking distance. Also a big shopping mall is behind the hotel. When I check in there is no house keepers to open an extra bed so they give us a complimentary upgrade. Breakfast is great after we have poor breakfast in Greece.
House keepers don't understand English which I only have to contact with reception. But nvm this living experience is so nice.
Price of the room
High prices of the cafe and restaurant poor heat of the room
We had a wonderful suite which gave us the impression we traveled back in time. The restaurant has a very luxurious historic setting serving good foods and wines. The location is downtown on walking distance from the main sightseeing locations.
Due to a new system we were unable to check in and had to wait for over an hour.
The location is great. Well connected to all tourist spots and comfortable stay.
At times there was an odd foul smell in some areas of the premises including one of the room we stayed and this were forced to change the room
Hotel was lovely in great location, the room was amazing room 414 had great view of the street large window and room was so big.
Don't bother with breakfast way over priced.
its like ghost palace !!! not clean very small elevators very old lobby furniture not enough light no ramp for kids wagon
Very classic style of hotel.
Windows allow a lot of sound in. Stayed on the first floor. Rooms are large and spacious however require some new paint/paper.
very nice hotel staff and very good food served.
a little bit old and i would prefer to stay in a more quite place near garden as travel with kids.
Historical place. Amasing atmosphere of the beginning of the last century. At the same time very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Got a great recommendation as to where to have dinner. Excellent breakfast.
reception & staff
room was dark, comfortable but nothing exceptional
friendliness of staff.
didn't like the bathroom and it wasn't a clean as I'd have liked.
It was my 65th birthday. I was greeted in my room with a bottle of wine and baby roses. The hotel is very beautiful art nouveau. Breakfast was a huge buffet!! The restaurant was a great place to sit with beautiful ceilings and lamps. Staff was very attent to all.
I asked for a quiet room but unfortunately it was over the air conditioning, so when we opened window at night it was noisy. Bought some ear plugs for the second night.
grandeur and egards, wonderful! friendly staff.
hump in middle of bed, so you'd roll to the sides.
Excellent Staff & Decor
No Hot drinks tray in bedroom
nice hotel in good place
Lovely old hotel, art nouveau styling, excellent breakfast buffet. Convenient transit in all directions.
central location fabulous vintage deco comfortable room and bathroom
The last minute deal was well worth it when the rooms usually sell for twice as much. Beautiful and grand inside. Good location a 5 minute walk from the grand place. Huge bed.
The breakfast is expensive at €22 each.
Lovely hotel, very charming. Good quality and location was excellent.
Our room was overlooking a backyard with the air conditioning machinery, a bit noisy.
Stylish establishment. Very good facilities and location. Staff absolute professional top class
very nice old elevator was under repair
Good location Clean Polite staff
Needs renovation.. Too old-fashioned, but I appreciate this might be a matter of style.
The history of the hotel
It was cool
Old-fashioned style of service (they wait until you are out of the way before ckeaning your room) ambience atmosphere luxurious breakfast
no coffee preparation facilities
Minibar free. Spacious room (but unacceptably outworn).
Our room was not just old. It was filthy and shabby. Never seen an older, more outworn interior in any other hotel. Not worth 3***. There are much better **** hotels for less money in Brussels.
