very nice hotel staff and very good food served.
a little bit old and i would prefer to stay in a more quite place near garden as travel with kids.
Historical place. Amasing atmosphere of the beginning of the last century. At the same time very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Got a great recommendation as to where to have dinner. Excellent breakfast.
reception & staff
room was dark, comfortable but nothing exceptional
friendliness of staff.
didn't like the bathroom and it wasn't a clean as I'd have liked.
It was my 65th birthday. I was greeted in my room with a bottle of wine and baby roses. The hotel is very beautiful art nouveau. Breakfast was a huge buffet!! The restaurant was a great place to sit with beautiful ceilings and lamps. Staff was very attent to all.
I asked for a quiet room but unfortunately it was over the air conditioning, so when we opened window at night it was noisy. Bought some ear plugs for the second night.
grandeur and egards, wonderful! friendly staff.
hump in middle of bed, so you'd roll to the sides.
Excellent Staff & Decor
No Hot drinks tray in bedroom
nice hotel in good place
Lovely old hotel, art nouveau styling, excellent breakfast buffet. Convenient transit in all directions.
central location fabulous vintage deco comfortable room and bathroom
Lovely hotel, very charming. Good quality and location was excellent.
Our room was overlooking a backyard with the air conditioning machinery, a bit noisy.
Stylish establishment. Very good facilities and location. Staff absolute professional top class
very nice old elevator was under repair
Good location Clean Polite staff
Needs renovation.. Too old-fashioned, but I appreciate this might be a matter of style.
The history of the hotel
It was cool
Old-fashioned style of service (they wait until you are out of the way before ckeaning your room) ambience atmosphere luxurious breakfast
no coffee preparation facilities
Minibar free. Spacious room (but unacceptably outworn).
Our room was not just old. It was filthy and shabby. Never seen an older, more outworn interior in any other hotel. Not worth 3***. There are much better **** hotels for less money in Brussels.
Beautiful ornate interiors, central location and large rooms. With a large discount it was unbeatable value for money. 5 star luxury at 2 star prices! Free mini bar is a nice touch.
Great hotel to stay in, really amazing setting.
Beautiful reception and bar area with good service and the food was good value for city centre. Spacious room but that was the only good thing.
The room had peeling paint on skirting boards and walls, cupboards were damaged, sink was chipped and shower had to be held as not able to attach to wall as broken. Furniture was old and worn (80's) and needed urgent replacement. 5* reception area 3* room at best. Sure each floor was different so for reference I was on the 6th floor. Very regular business traveller.
Freindly staff ، good tv
Old furniture , poor aircondition , very old lift ، Access to the room is long and hard ، Street annoying
it was under construction and there was no info about this on the site. The cool elevator was out of service, and the gorgeous bar was closed. that was a main draw for booking this hotel
Quiet, comfortable room, air conditioning, complimentary mini bar drinks, efficient staff, good restaurant attached to hotel, good location for city centre.
Didn't know about the €100 deposit the hotel takes as insurance when we booked. Wasn't a problem, getting it back was fine, but would have been nice to know about that in advance.
Location wasn't far from the main town..a pleasant 3 minute walk. The hotel is very ornate and traditional, and their is an air of luxury and class about it. The room was very comfy and cosy, with an impressive bathroom, and was immaculately clean. I enjoyed my stay there, and would book again if I return to Brussels.
The room, although very nicely decorated, was just starting to show the need for a revamp in the bedroom.
