Hotel Metropole

The Service was excellent. The marble foyer is quite magnicicent. The room and bathroom spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and in elegant surroundings.

Would have like tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Very good hotel, very good service, great location.

Poor Wi Fi connection on the 4th floor

Excellent facility full of character within easy walking distance of main city attractions. Very good value for money. Parking right outside the hotel entrance.

Location and stuff

It was a very old hotel look like 3 star , elevator not work some times , you need to use the stairs , it was very bad old staries old type elevator you should be strong to push and open the door. it clearly appears the racism against arabs before leaving when their terrible Old left damage again I asked reception to fix my bill as they charge me twice for a tour so I asked them to wait until bill fixed rather than use the stairs twice . I was shacked and angry when the reception guy said there is two left in other side and when I reach there it was completely new building new rooms , while rooms we been allocated in was terrible Aglee old and bad , I found that all Arabs are been giving them that bad rooms.

The hotel was at one time lovely. That shined through.

Location was too far away from the tourist area. Pet friendly. We didn't like sleeping in a room that we didn't know if a pet had been there or not. The 28 euro breakfast was too expensive. We had to pay for internet. No complimentary coffee or tea in the room.

Old-world luxury. Truly grand, European lobby. Great cafe out front.

A bit frayed around the edges, but in a lovable way (e.g. chipped dishes, leaky ceiling)

eating expensive but poor breakfast with flies flying around and waiters who dont take plates from ur desk. and all the rooms smell like old men...

Location, some staff specially the reciptionests, the free mini bar drinks even though the refill was missed on some days.

Some staff were not friendly specifically the waiters in the restuarant serving the breakfast, rooms were not cleaned approporitly, the mini bar was not refilled accuretly.

Interesting location, slightly obsolete luxury. My "privilege room" at the 6th floor had a very nice sunny terrace and beer and mineral water were offered by the hotel.

An easy chair on the terrace would have been much welcomed. So would have been tea or coffee facilities in the room. Unfortunately the toilet was not soundly clean and everyday chores produced too much noise in the morning.

The staff and atmosphere at the hotel was excellent. The interior of Hotel Metropole is amazing in all of its details. The rooms were quite large and very affordable for a family visiting Brussels.

There was cigarette smoke in one of our rooms one day.

The hotel has immense character on a grand scale. You are immediately awed by the preserved grandeur. The hotel staff were professional, friendly, and well dressed. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

The internal architecture of the Metropole is beatifully classical and all the staff are a credit to the hotel
