Clean, Warm and so convenient for the local transport systems. Value for money excellent. Staff always friendly and ready to help if required Personally I would have liked some ordinary tea bags at breakfast as well as the herbal type and Earl Grey brew they supplied. Also a toaster would be nice with jams and marmalade.

- close to train station - walking distance to town center - alternative to staying at Brussels when the hotel rates surge as it's only less than 15 minutes train between Leuven and Brussels. - breakfast can be better. Only instant coffee.

It was clean and at least one member of staff was very friendly. Hotel position was good too. The internet did not work. It seems that had been going for a while. They should not say they have WiFi if it is not the case.

Perfect location, good breakfast, everything as expected, taking into account that it is a budget hotel. Hard to find, even in the day; I walked all over the place until I finally saw the inscription high up on the building. No reception - one has to go through the restaurant (usually full) to get to the hotel itself - that felt strange. No Wi-Fi, and I really needed it. Can be noisy, both from outside and from within the building. I would not recommend it to people sensitive to noise. The water flow in the shower sometimes dropped almost to zero.

Excellent value for money in a good location within the country to visit any part of Belgium for a day trip by train. Lots of bars and restaurants and shops nearby. Quiet room at the rear ensured of a good nights sleep. Convenient for Brussels airport. Suggested in one review that having no reception was a problem though didn't find this in any way hindered my stay. Even when the restaurant was at its busiest in the evening, the manager was immediately available to attend to my requirements and didn't keep me waiting whilst he was overseeing the running of the restaurant and its diners. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Good Packed lunch provided on one day. No issues.

room was basic but comfortable. Everything you needed if you were out exploring and not staying in the room. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was standard contenential but good. Good location for going places as well as literally 2 mins from bus and train station. About 10 mins takes you to the grotemarkt and from there into central leuven and the best bars. Stairs were very steep in places, but thats usual for belgium !

The location of the hotel is good and the breakfast. I have booked a double room, but got single instead. Really single! Nobody ever apologized for it! The room was maximum 3 meters wide and 6 long, the bed was single indeed. The tv is up on the wall, and becuase the room is so narrow it was not possible to watch it normally sitting on the bed...the only way was to put a chair in the corner and sit on it. The bathroom was even a bigger disaster, the wash basin is not possibel to use, neither for washing hands nor face at all as it is very small and the glass shelf is put very low, so there was no use of the basin at all.

Hotel's location In order to proceed toward the reserved room we had to cross the whole length of the restaurant! That wasn't a nice experience, considering that when we arrived (around 8 pm) the restaurant was fully loaded.Very uninspired design of the pathway through the hotel for customers who would only like to rest there for the night!

A good hotel, with a really good breakfast included in the price, clean rooms, good location - just across the train station (25 min. from Brussels) Just a little information: The reception is inside the restaurant, and to get to the rooms you have to walk through the restaurant. No elevator, not very comfortable beds, a bit noisy at nighttime.

Location is perfect. There is no lobby in the hotel, so one should actually go through the restaurant to get to the room. The room has all one needs for staying overnight. What I especially liked is that the room and the bathroom were very clean and neat. Breakfast is in the restaurant downstairs and is pretty good. The bed/mattress is somewhat too soft.

The location is very convenient (just in front of the railway and bus station); pay attention because the hotel is located above a restaurant and the reception is in fact the restaurant, so at a first glance it may be difficult to locate the exact entrance. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide range of options, and the rooms are clean. The stairs are extremely narrow and steep and there is no lift, which may certainly constitute a problem for persons with disabilities or with heavy luggage. It was also impossible to open my room's window.

As this is only a 1 star Hotel, it is an excellent Hotel. The room was basic but clean and tidy as was the bathroom. Toiletries in bathroom plus tooth brushes. The staff were extrememly friendly and helpfull. The beds were very comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. A very good breakfast both cooked and cold were all included in room price. It also has an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner. For the price this is an excellent choice.

Rooms are very basic, but clean. Breakfast was good. Internet connection in the room was not very good. Rooms are a little bit noisy, you can hear the shower and toilet of the room above. Parking is only available in the near by car park with additional costs of 20,- € per day (but you can ask for a special price).

Good as usual! Nice people and perfect food!! This time I had Kammer 5. To small for 4 Nights and the washing room is catastrophic! The too small basin with it`s glass plate above makes it useless for washing and shaving. Could be improved!! :-)

Amazing restaurant on the ground floor (so also a much better breakfast than usual), and although the room was simple, it had everything one needed and was extremely spacious. A gem of a place.
