A lovely hotel which I would highly recommend. The rooms were very nice and the location excellent. The staff were also very professional and helpful. It is the best hotel I have stayed in in Europe.

Location, great proximity between town centre and train station. Great hotel. Only thing missing, minor points, we're wifi and iron and ironing board table. Apart from that I can find no faults.

The day time staff was very helpful, but after a night out we arrived back at the hotel at about 1 am in the morning and the night port was a bit grumpy I was disappointed to find that the bedding was not ironed before being used on the beds.

Very quiet location The cost of the breakfast (16 euros) was far too much for the quality and choice provided.

The hotel is in a great location in the city, close enough to all the main area's yet very quiet and tucked away from the noise. Very relaxing. Despite it being useful, the carpark was expensive on top of the accomodation and breakfast costs.

Clean and ralatively close to town. Very quiet and had car parking which is why I chose it. This is rare in Brugge. No power points in room. Had to unplug standard light to plug in computor and then could not use computer on the desk because power plug too far away. Not business friendly.

Staff is excellent. Everyone's very helpful, knowledgeable, especially Mathius. The rooms are very well appointed, towels are great. No kettle in the room. Internet is charged 5 euros per stay which is fair, but doesn't work in the garden rooms. Staff informs about this but there's free unsecured WiFi available in the area. Breakfast too expensive 16 euros.

Near to the centre of Brugges. For boat ride, horse and carriage ride, good shops and cafes, good shopping. Museums, churches. Best of all was the breakfast, especially the hot chocolate and waffles. I had my 50th birthday there and one two members of staff shined through. A mature lady on reception, who was kind and helpful and a young man who checked on our car for us. Even thought you could get as much tea and coffee as you wanted from the dispensers in the main hotel, it would have been 100% perfect for "brewing up facilities" to be in the room. Fortunately the weather conditions allowed us to go backwards and forwards to the main hotel, around 100/200 yards.

Staff were nice and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom/toilet was immaculate. Ideally located for a city visit as it is far enough away from the hussle and bussle of the city centre, but close enough (10 mins) to be able to walk there. Car parking facilty was very handy considering the price and availabilty of parking places in and around Brugge. No air conditioning - We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel and the temp was 28/29 deg during our stay. We couldn't have the windows open at night due to noise of traffic in the narrow cobbled street outside. No tea/coffee making facilties in the rooms - I would expect a hotel of this quality and price to have this facility in all rooms. For this reason alone we would not stay at the hotel again. Which is a shame as it is a nice hotel and ideally located for our regular trips to Europe.

Heerlijk verblijf. Centraal gelegen, ruime kamers, voldoende faciliteiten.

Service was tevens goed.

“What a lovely suprise the Flanders was. If you read enough on the 'net you can end up really confusing yourself, but I can honestly say everything about our stay, the room, the staff, the location and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. Room was well proportioned, warm and welcoming with spotless bathroom and comfortable (oversize) bed. Our late arrival made the late check-in and tea-making facillities a lifesaver! Staff were very helpful and the location was five minutes from central Bruges - Hotel Flanders really made our stay one to remember. ” Michael, Liverpool |
