The NH Brugge is in a former monastery, right at Brugge’s beltway and across the street from the Concert Hall.

Located a few minutes from the Markt, shops and restaurants, this hotel is centrally in a newly renovated mansion. It houses a spa center in the hotel’s 16th-century cellars.

Located along a canal, the Hotel Ter Brughe is an 8-minute walk from the Market Square, the Belfry of Bruges and the shopping district. Breakfast is served in a vaulted cellar with views of the water....

Fantastic location, very friendly staff and an excellent meal in their hotel restaurant
The hotel is located close enough to everything. The room was lovely and after asking changing the room from the main building to the garden it was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was pleasant and helpful
Wifi in the room is very poor so if its important it would be a problem. I hope the hotel will deal with that. Also not having cofee/tea in the room is almost basic today in all hotels
A hidden Gem
except €18 for breakfast!?
The garden view and separate building in which the rooms are situated. Nice location not too far from the city center. You don't feel like you are in a hotel and feel free to doe as you please, sunbathing in the garden or just reading a book on your 'balcony' That art in the garden also give that friendly home coming feeling.
For a 4 star hotel the hotel is lacking certain facilities that you would expect in such a hotel for such a prize. Like airconditioning in the room, and if not, some windows that you can open instead. But also the basics, a minibar that does not cool, toilet paper that is laying about as there is no dispencer on the wall. Breakfast was of a fair quality but very limited in choice, thus too expencive. Personel was friendly but not more than that, with the breackfast lady as an exeption, she was grumpy, unfriendly and not interested in you as a guest at all.
The receptionists take initiatives ın order to please you, the rooms are big, the breakfeast iş very very rich, the location is very close to the center and the rooms and, the location is very quiet. There is a big and lovely garden, the staff are all very helpful and kind, we loved Hotel Montanus, and would like to stay there again
We liked everything
Great location Easy walking distance to all the main attractions Fantastic shower Good size room & bathroom Helpful staff
No air conditioning which is understandable in a property of this period, but perhaps the hotel could invest in some portable fans for the future. There is a lot of noise from the street, especially the horse & carriage tours which run constantly from 9am to 10pm in July & Aug. Get a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden if possible Restaurant is closed on a Sunday.
It was too expensive. Breakfast was good, but again too expensive. I would also prefer tea coffee facilities in the room.
Perceft location, nice place!
absolute peace and quiet of the rooms,no noise whatsoever from adjoining rooms or surrounding area.left alone by staff to enjoy holiday
no air conditioning and as it was hot while we stayed,it became stifling as windows did not open either.price of breakfasts expensive
Hidden garden is awesome
Beautiful building, gardens, surroundings, resteraunt etc.
WiFi access poor, ventilation in rooms difficult and very small.
Beautiful hotel in the historic center of Bruges... right in the middle of things and with one night to spend there, a great place to stay and wander from. Nice room, beautiful view of the hotel garden. Clean and comfortable, and a very nice bed. No self-catering facilities or in-room coffee setup, but that was not a problem. We enjoyed wine on the patio the evening before we left.
Lighting was a bit iffy, but nothing we couldn't work with. When we ordered wine on the patio we were brought a dish of goodies that we didn't ask for, which I think cost us 10 euro. Shrugged and enjoyed them but wish we'd known whether they were complementary or "compulsory"... (as in if you don't drink at the bar you must order some food with your wine) ... the waiter said nothing either way. Just a little annoying, no dealbreaker.
Loved our room, the bedding and all the amenities of the room and the hotel.
Outstanding Beautiful courtyard Amazing restaurant Fantastic location Nice rooms
No kettle in the room
Beautiful lobby area and garden, modern room, friendly staff, good location
Ground floor room in the back house was smaller than expected, not as chick as on the pictures and the floor was tiled (ugly), ie no carpet. Staff was very friendly but not the most switched on. But if you are patient and keep on explaining they'll get in at some point - and as said while doing so they are very keen to help and friendly!
If your room is out of main building, be ready to enjoy with living in some kind of summer bungalo... Cold when it is cold outside or hot when it is hot outside, you can hear all your neighbours, they can hear you. No Wi-Fi.
Beautifully decorated hotel, peaceful nights sleep, staff very helpful
Uncomfortable bed (very soft mattress) and very noisy creaking floorboards from the room above, otherwise faultless!
Location excellent, very friendly staff and very helpful.
Only criticism was no coffee making facilities in room. They did provide free coffee all day in day room but I always like to wake up with a hot drink
Small hotel, friendly staff, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, good location. View over pretty garden. Would definitely recommend it.
Bedroom not light enough. Not really convinced by the 'crumpled look' of the (real) linen sheets. I know its supposed to look trendy, but to me it just looks as if they haven't been ironed. But prefer them to polycotton of course! Pillows not that comfortable either..
Good location. The bathroom is quite big and comfortable.
The voices of the guests next door could be heard.
convenience location, cozy atmospher
Location Breakfast Spatious room
suite was very spacious and nice garden area.
The staff were lovely throughout and the room was incredibly comfortable, warm and bright, which was particularly comforting as I fell ill while in Bruges and spent a lot of time indoors.
There was not a kettle/coffee in the room and wifi was not accessible from the rooms but elsewhere in the hotel. This by no means detracted from the experience but it was just unexpected.
