Staff is wonderfully accomodating.
Terrible wifi- hard to believe in this time. Rooms need upgrade- needs tightening up.
The room was large and comfortable, and the wifi was free and reliable. The breakfast was good.
The room lighting was horrible--very dim. That's fine for a romantic holiday, but not for a business traveler like myself. I could hardly see anything in the room. It needs brighter lighting.
Over time this place has gone from shabby chic to chic shabby but personnel are much better
Location and comfort
the staff was welcoming and friendly
the slow internet connection
the last time I have been asked for a credit card at arrival even if it never had occured before (I always paid in cash at the departure)
Large room Powerful shower Location close to my friends and metro to centre
Breakfast poor selection and quality - had to take my daughter out for breakfast in a local café afterwards and so that I could have a decent cup of coffee Bed incredibly uncomfortable, soft, sagged in middle Poor maintenance - fan in bathroom didn't switch off all night, electric sockets hanging off walls, peeling wallpaper, dusty dirty floor Lack of decent central lighting, made whole room look dingy - only table lamps individually switched on Poor wifi even on 2nd floor
Nice room, clean and spacious
Wifi signal on higher floors is very weak A kettle in the room would have been useful
Big room, nice staff and good breakfast. A little bit far from city center but very nice neighborhood. Would stay again next time.
Need to replace the towels.
No bathrobe - and no slippers on hard wood floor - room a bit cold!
Staff is very good Breakfast is good location is nice and quite
WiFi service should be improved Barking should be free
in general comfortable and nice hotel; at the day of chenk-out if you have plenty of time you can stay in business centre of hotel or be busy in leisure deck
WiFi did not work at all, I was said it was temporarely; location of gym and sauna - you have to go through parking
Spacious room, comfy beds, staff were really good natured and friendly. Great location for getting all round Brussels and beyond. Safe parking underground. Room was quiet.
Breakfast was good but limited. And I felt sorry for the lovely girl who seemed to be the only one on duty.
The lightning of the room was not sufficient No ellectric kettle in the room
personel was nice and helpful,
wi-fi did not work at all, the explanation at reception that technician will come on Monday was insufficient while we were there only for weekend, additionally breakfast was not breakfast which you may expect in 5 stars hotel
Staff very friendly, liked the breakfast
WIFI not always available
Rooms were fairly spacious and tastefully decorated, albeit a little dated in style, with desk and seating areas. Some rooms overlook the Montgomery roundabout fountains which are illuminated in the evening. Underground car parking facility was very handy and reasonably priced (I recommend pre-reserving) and the aforementioned steep slope and restricted access was not too bad even with a large saloon car. Sauna facility was good too. I am a seasoned business traveller and often visit Brussels, my first impressions were thus positive.
Wifi/Internet - off the scale of unacceptability. Woefully poor, forget it and subscribe to the Belgacom hotspot. The unrequested surprise 0430 early morning alarm call was most optimal in disturbing my nights rest. The hardwood flooring amplifies footsteps (that would be at around 0500). Plumbing - I found it difficult to get a good shower water flow and temperature combo. Breakfast was somewhat lacking and freshness in areas - e.g. dried out scrambled eggs. Do you need to ask if I am going back?
Very nice hotel in a beautiful Victorian era building.
The plumbing is also from the Victorian era.
There was no internet connection in the room 607
Spacious room with desk Balcony! Comfortable bed Functioning air-conditioning Good plumbing Single log in WiFi
Breakfast is very poor for a hotel of this stature. Proper coffee and better range of cooked food please. Décor is faded but that was reflected in the price. WiFi drops out all the time. Towels need replacing - nothing luxury about them.
The room is quite big!
Coffee could be better, miss milk form my coffee and not to many options for...
The hotel is very close to Embassies and ACPwhich suited our visit.
The only restaurant was closed due to a party.
It maybe is not very cheap, but it is worth it. Good location, although not very central but with metro station just meters from the entrance. Breakfast was very good, spacious rooms. Some furniture was maybe a bit dated, but still fully functional. Actually it made hotel to have a sort of character and I don't mind slightly squeaky floor. I would definitely stay there again.
If you arrive by car, their garage entrance might be a bit of a challenge if you have a bigger car, it is pretty steep and narrow.
Reception staff poor in english language
Staff was helpful and friendly.
The internet service is not reliable at all. The staff worked hard to get me connected and even switched my rooms. However each day I would have trouble connecting and some days was not able to connect at all. Very frustrating as I was needing to work each day.
