Very nice hotel in a beautiful Victorian era building.
The plumbing is also from the Victorian era.
There was no internet connection in the room 607
Spacious room with desk Balcony! Comfortable bed Functioning air-conditioning Good plumbing Single log in WiFi
Breakfast is very poor for a hotel of this stature. Proper coffee and better range of cooked food please. Décor is faded but that was reflected in the price. WiFi drops out all the time. Towels need replacing - nothing luxury about them.
The room is quite big!
Coffee could be better, miss milk form my coffee and not to many options for...
The hotel is very close to Embassies and ACPwhich suited our visit.
The only restaurant was closed due to a party.
It maybe is not very cheap, but it is worth it. Good location, although not very central but with metro station just meters from the entrance. Breakfast was very good, spacious rooms. Some furniture was maybe a bit dated, but still fully functional. Actually it made hotel to have a sort of character and I don't mind slightly squeaky floor. I would definitely stay there again.
If you arrive by car, their garage entrance might be a bit of a challenge if you have a bigger car, it is pretty steep and narrow.
Reception staff poor in english language
Staff was helpful and friendly.
The internet service is not reliable at all. The staff worked hard to get me connected and even switched my rooms. However each day I would have trouble connecting and some days was not able to connect at all. Very frustrating as I was needing to work each day.
Te location in a high class residential area, and the excellent attention by all the hotel staff. The comfort of a traditional belgian hotel
Unfortunately, the WiFi went down while we stayed there and all the efforts from the Staff to solve the problem did not make the belgian telephone company more efficient
As usual this hotel has a perfect location. Metro + bus or tram. You can reach any of your target location.
Is my second time there. The first one was ok. After two years I tackled one of the worst experience of my frequent traveler. 3 days before I was alerted that my credit card was not working for the preauthorisation. I called the hotel. Of course their machine was wrong. I arrived on Sunday, Internet was broken. No way to have connectivity. In my room the electric system was working partially. Some lamps were out of order. I complained with the reception. There was a stagiaire (spaniard) speaking a very bad english and not useful at all. In the bathroom some drops of water were falling down from the ceiling. Conclusion : never again....,.this hotel was good years ago, now is a nightmare.
Friendly personnel good location safe neighborhood
The reception did not know the existence of the rue de tongresthat was very close to the hotel... Bad breakfast wifi always in trouble
Nice room, good size
Buffett breakfast was lacking in quality and diversity Hotel is a bit dated, eg lifts.
Nice room, helpful staff, great location
Lift broken Bathroom ventilator wouldn't switch off so was noisey no room service at weekends
Everything about the place was great. There were lots of nice touches from the personalised welcome note to the sweets on the pillow. Excellent breakfast, very good selection including lots of fresh fruit. Great location for the metro so getting into the centre of Brussels is easy. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to friends without a doubt!
Nothing at all!
Quiet environment, clean rooms, very friendly staff,
Wi Fi was poor, location is far from city center
Every member of staff was great!
Some foods at breakfast were reused and decayed. I could not believe that.
Hotel was great looking and staff was friendly and helpful though not always correct. Room was pretty nice and clean with the exception of a few broken things and a bunch of scratched walls.
WiFi was broken the whole day we were there (August 8-9), bathtub handle to switch between faucet and shower head was locked up and it after turning it one way to use the faucet it was almost impossible to push it back to use shower, literally took over a minute of pulling with all my strength to finally switch it back. Staff was very polite and friendly and helpful with one exception at the end where they weren't sure exactly which bus we need to take to the airport and gave us two different ones.
Big and clean room with a sofa, minibar, safe, TV, DVD player and a very comfortable bed. The staff was very nice. The location is very good, calm area and close to the metro.
The breakfast. There is a Nespresso machine which is nice but the musli was not great and the hardboiled egg I got was smelly so I didn´t eat it. The coffee we ordered to the room was not good.
size and comfort of room, bath, helpful staff very convenient for transport links
no room service on the friday night of arrival
Location, staff, quality, room, bed, TV, view. The quality of this hotel surpassed my exptectations and went well beyond the price tag.
Poor facilities for Internet. A cheap PC in the corner, did not work, neither Internet fixed line nor Wi-Fi. Buy a modern monitor and PC and fix the Wi-Fi. There is a lack of tea cups and hot water at breakfast, the facility is one for Nespresso and coffee, not for tea making.
Very friendly stuff, great breakfast, free parking spots in front of hotel,....
I was billed twice- was told it was accidentally.
walking running in the park, staff and the room excellent, breakfast good
walking through the car park to find the sauna
1. Quality Floor covering in the room. 2.getting the cheap rate. 3. The speed of the elevator. 4. Breakfast staff were helpful.
1.slowest checkout ever and standing staff not ready to help speed up the process. 2. Being overcharged for breakfast. 3. Calling last minute for an extra night and being quoted €30 more per night than the booking.com price.
The room was really nice and the bathroom clean and bright. The hotel staff was very friendly. A colleague and I had dinner outside the hotel to the right (Jardin des Nicolas) and it was recommended by the nice lady at the reception. Brilliant recommendation!
