Hans Memling has a tranquil terrace and cozy bar serving Belgian beers. The hotel is in a historic building with warm décor, only 270 yards from the Grote Markt and Belfort.

In the historic center of Bruges, Hotel Goezeput is in a restructured 18th-century monastery, less than half a mile from the Grote Markt central square.
Score from 882 reviews Very good
Location was excellent. Hotel is in nice quiet street with no noise implications. Staff very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip back to Bruges!
Very bad connections for Wi-Fi.
Reception staff were very helpful on our arrival, recommending restaurants that were not to over priced
As with most European hotels no tea coffee makng facilities in the room
Friendly staff and a good location close to the town centre
It would have been nice to have been able to make a tea/coffee outside of breakfast time when drink were provided. A kettle in the room and/or one to loan from the hotel at reception would have been nice as there was no where within the hotel/immediate location to get a hot drink.
Location was perfect for walk to city or for walk in local park. Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fine.
Would have been nice to have bus numbers and stops from train station.
neither near station nor the centre room is so small
Staff were good. Breakfast was good. Comfortable bed, large room.
Not keen on decor.
Location was good and staff were friendly.
The beds were like sleeping on noises crates with a mattress on top. Also booked a double and got a twin.
Location of hotel within easy walking distance from train station and accessibe to all areas of interest both historical & cultural. Staff extremely helpful and accomodating. Continental style breakfast in beautiful conservatory overlooking garden. No noise at night. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Taxi to the hotel on arrival cost over €7. This was excessive. Teas-made would have been a welcome facility in the bedroom.
friendly staff, spacious room, free parking, good location
Breakfast wasn't notable Location is close to a busy street and by some noisy construction work. Location is also not very central
It is a cheap hotel with everything you can expect. Toilette was ok.
Everything could be cleaner. Spider webs everywhere.
Good breakfast for a budget hotel...the best bit of our stay. We're not sure how much you'd expect to pay in a better Bruges hotel...we were passing through and needed somewhere cheap, so our expectations weren't high, and we were therefore reasonably satisfied.
Only a skylight in our room! It was on the top floor (no lift). The room...mid-September...was hot, the bathroom was basic, and the only 'secure' storage for our bagage, while we parked the car (300 metres away), was in the linen cupboard.
Cold showers both mornings....between 8:15 and 9:00 everyone is showering and on level 2 we had no hot water....but after breakfast the hot water was back..."never happened before" we were told
Location Victoria was passionate and efficient More toasting bread required for braekfast (must not run out?)
1)The noise from reception waking us up all evening due to patron access past our door 2)Decor "tired" 3)Quality of towels very poor - need replacing 4) Rooms generally clean however the deep cleaning required due to the age of the carpets etc. (dark rooms hide the cobwebs and other issues) 5) Plumbing and drainage not working properly.
Great location only 10 to 15 minute walk from city center.
We arrived at around 900 in the evening and reception was already closed. An email has been sent out to us giving us an access code, but since we didn't have phones or a wifi connection yet, was unable to get. Had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for someone staying there too show up and open door for us. The room was very sparse with four small beds, one of which was very hard and even my 4 year old had a hard time sleeping on. For what we got, seems a little pricey. Staff seems friendly, but wasn't there enough really to review.
Excellent location and friendly helpful staff! Definitely Recommend this hotel! Breakfast lovely you could eat as much as you desired and all very fresh! Vicky very helpful on all occasions!
Couldn't, log onto the wi fi but to be fair we didn't enquire as too why so shouldn't,t really moan!
The location was OK, quite close to the main roads. The stuff were nice and gave us information about the city.
The stuff came into the room without knocking on the door. The hotel has no lift and it wasn't written anywhere and the rooms have also stairs inside. The room has 2 big roof windows which is cool but also a lot of sun comes in and we couldn't open them.
Bed was comfortable. Frankly, there is nothing to say further about this hotel. It was possibly the worst we have stayed at?
Absolutely no parking. Not located in old town as shown on advert. No reception cover at all during our stay. We did not see a person at all. Room needed a thorough cleaning. Bathroom extractor fan filthy and not working. Overall very disappointing. This hotel should honestly specify; " Unsuitable for disabled customers."
Location & helpful staff
Was given a wifi code but it failed on four different phones/laptops/tablet.
Room space, location to the center
Breakfast wasn't great but what can you expect from a 2 star hotel
the bathroom is very spacious with good design. shampoo sachets are really good. the patio where the breakfast is served with the garden that belongs to it
the breakfast doesn't worth the money.
Personal really helpful. We had some problems with a rental car, and she did everything to help us. The hotel is situated in a nice and quiet area near to the city center. Comfortable bed.
Room size, bathroom, beds, breakfast, location, quiet street.
No screens on window and no air conditioning, and warm room meant we had to deal with mosquitos, a problem common to many European hotels. Poor Wi-Fi connectivity in our room.
staff location breakfast area
Size of the bedroom for 3 people Choice at breakfast Dining area in conservatory with pretty garden Friendly and helpful staff Family atmosphere Free parking close by Close to town centre (10 mins. walking distance)
Room too hot and stuffy which meant that we had to sleep with the window open and got little sleep because of the noise from passers-by (we were on the 1st floor) and traffic on 2 nearby main road (motorbikes/scooters in particular)
