It is very convenient since it is very near our office in Brussels. They are also flexible about my checking in the morning instead of the usual 2pm They no longer serve fresh fruits during breakfast. They put me in room 103 with flimsy curtains in the bathroom which is facing another building. i find it awkward to shower or even urinate thinking that someone might see me on the other building when I turn on the light.

The Hotel was well located to have relatives staying there for Christmas. The receptionist was very unfriendly! She couldn't find the booking.com booking and said I should have booked directly via her. Very unpleasant experience!

Nice convivial hotel/ The breakfast table is great. The lounge is lovely. Staff are pleasant and efficient. Shame the walls are painted grey... it brings an air of sadness to it all... white or cream would be much better... Red is OK, but needs to be completed by spots with lamps so that one can read... Not sure the thin veiled curtains were sufficient to prevent people from seeing me in the bathroom. The red lights make it very difficult to relax and to see properly, both in the room at the desk (needs a desk lamp) and in the lounge, where you can;t really read. There were not enough electricity sockets for me to plug my mobile charger in, or my laptop on the desk. A full-length mirror could be place on the wall at the entrance of the room. Entrance door needs a spring so it closes automatically... And a sign 'Entrance' at the door would help find it in the first place.

perfect hotel for a few days. Nice room, cool interior and a good breakfast. Only a small misunderstanding with the exeptional breakfast ending at 10AM in stead of 11AM. English speaking staff...

I needed to book close to Ixelles outskirts and found Monty. I dimly remember booking people here years ago and them being happy about it. I'm normally not fond of staying in what is supposed to be 2-star hotels as all my guests for my event were at 4-stars but I had a lot to do so needed the smaller distance to my venue. Well...I Don't get why this hotel is 2 stars, and so badly rapped. I book hotels all year round in Brussels and honestly, this is both one of the most well-looking as one of the best hotels price/quality I stayed in. Relatively minor gripe: One table for breakfast for everyone. There's only 18 rooms so it's never crowded but it creates a sort of forced social atmosphere. Very minor gripe: Handle on my trash bin was broken in the room so when pushing the button the lid flew off.

Very easy going staff and cosy hotel. Breakfast with all the guests on one table feels like a b&b more than hotel. Design interior from some years ago but still very nice. No overpromise.

Location was great. No air-con. Our room was small and incredibaly hot. There was road works until early in the morning and the noise was terrible. Hardly spelt. 2Nd night - no road works but very noisy - kept waking up. Bathroom could be looked into.

The hotel was really well designed. Especially the lounge. Location was perfect, bus station was just in front of the hotel and metro station was very close. Staff was helpful. They offer bicycle in the ad. But we could't get any..

Fiendly staff. Price. The hairdryer didn't work. There was no airvent for air circulation in the bathroom. The window was partly broken. The wifi connection often fails. There were screws mounted in the wall in order to hang up clothes and stuff: both were loose from the wall, thus useless.
