Good location (close to Metro, close to Nord train station, not far from centre), good value-price ratio. Nice breakfast, too. For the money you cannot expect much luxury.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location, right beside the Rogier Metro Station. The price is very good of course, as is the fact that the hotel has an elevator, which some of the hotels in this price fail to provide. The room was cold at night and the bedding not enough to keep warm. Very poorly decorated.

Location was next to Sheraton at Place Rogier, and only five minutes by foot from the Gare du Nord, where the airport express can be picked up. Breakfast was better than I expected at such a hotel. Cereal, hard-boiled eggs, baguettes with butter and jam, ham and cheese, real orange juice (not 'nectar'), and decent coffee. There were also some oranges in a bowl. Room was very cramped, even in the knowledge it was budget and a shared- bath situation. Hall shower was not in good order. The shower pan moved, and the non-movable shower head seemed to be on its last leg. Toilet was adequate. Wi-fi worked in the breakfast room but not in my 4th floor room. (Not a complaint because it was advertised as being only in public areas. However, a room on a lower floor would probably secure a connection.) Although bedding was clean, my sheet cover had a rip in it, exposing the mattress below.

Breakfast was ok. The room was too small, showers were on the 3rd floor, room on the 1st. The room was originally single room, not for two. We were totally disappointed.

1) Great location: 5-10 minutes of walking to the Nord Station or to city's central streets. 2) Room is large and clean 3) Breakfast is good, it even includes fruits, yogurts. 4) Rather cheap. 1) Tea, coffe and even hot water cost 1 euro in the lobby, except for breakfast time. 2) The door in our room had a small gap, so there was a light draught. 3) The shower had no blinds, so the floor in the shower was constantly wet. 4) Staff speaks English not so good. 5) The hotel itself and its rooms look a bit frayed. 6) No internet access.

Quite close to metro and to railway station, friendly staff Hotel is rather poor, for this money more comfortable hotels can be found. Furniture and appearance of the room definitely need renovation. Bathroom has ENGLISH-style taps - separately for cold and hot water which should be mixed at the basin!!! Problems with taking shower - a bath is present with no holder for shower tap and no curtains. Internet access was declared from reception but the laptop could not connect. Rather poor breakfast. I can recommend this hotel just for overnight stay, if one needs just a place near rail station for one night.

“Excellent value for money, very clean, brand new renovated rooms, helpful front desk and whilst perhaps not in the nicest area of Brussels, I easily walked into town each day which was very convenient. I was also upgraded to a very spacious room. Perfect for the budget traveller wanting cheap, clean accommodation reasonably close to town.” Alexandra, Amsterdam |

“Friendly staff. The location is fine, just ten minutes walk from the Gare du Nord (the train station) and convenient location to the shopping street Rue Neuve. The subway station Botanique is a two minute walk from the hotel. There is also a Carrefour Express (small grocery store) 100 meters from the entrance. ” Kim, Oslo |
