Central to Railway station I had to be at for transport. I did not get to check out properly as I had to get early morning train to Brussels. I have not got a tax receipt as no one was available at 6.30am.Is it possible to get a copy of receipt emailed to me? |

Service was perfect; breakfast was excellent; not in the middle of the city; but 3 minutes away from tram (and train) station (walking); and by tram to the centre is less than 7 minutes; so really on walking distance if you want. |

Very helpful staff, secure underground parking, close to station, easy walking, large comfortable room. Limited bar, not handy for centre walking. no real problems. No restaurant. |

Excellent and very helpful staff. Could not have asked for better. Room was clean and very spacious, breakfast was excellent. Location near train station and right next to tram that goes to old section of city. Very good location for seeing the town. |

Good reception on arrival and everything was as we would have expected from an hotel and only a short walk from train stn to hotel and 10mins on tram to city centre, excellent breakfast. |

We were made to feel welcome and given good advice on the way to use the Tram service to get us to the historic centre of the city. We were also given advice we would not have known about the use of long term Parking tickets from the meters. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and adequate. The room was at the front of the hotel and there was a fair amount of street noise. |

Once inside the hotel it was quite lovely. The man was very welcoming and informative. Location was not so convenient, although there is nearby tram service. The exterior is very uninviting. We almost panicked when we arrived, but once inside it was very chic. |

Surprisingly nice hotel with well done restoration in the rooms. Offers indoor parking if desired but optional for the location. Very short walk to the local train/tram station giving access to the entire city. A large city park is only one block away and beautifully appointed, as are all the parks in Gent. Another park, where the Jazz festival was held is a short 20 minutes walk away. The center of old Gent is a 10 minute tram ride from the hotel. Great service staff and a pleasant breakfast each morning. Cozy settings with only 22 rooms if you want to get away from the large impersonal hotels. Would stay here again. |
