Hotel is convenient to train station (2 min. walk) and city center (10 min. tram ride or 20 min. walk). Hotel owners are professional and friendly, and work hard to make guests comfortable and to orient them to the city sights. Rooms are clean, comfortable, updated, and spacious. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Friendly atmosphere. Neighborhood quieter than you'd expect given its proximity to train station, but there are plenty of restaurants and conveniences near-by. I'd gladly stay here again. Nothing.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very close to train station. A 15 minute stroll to the centre or take the tram from the tram stop around the corner from the hotel. Nice big room which was clean and well equipped. Noise of footsteps from the floor above is quite noticeable. Saying that, I am a very light sleeper and it didn't bother my partner but something to consider if you are looking for somewhere quiet.

Great hotel close to St Pieters Station. Rooms were large; clean and well designed. The staff were all excellent. We loved the hotel and loved Ghent. It's well located, 30 minutes to the city centre on foot or ten minutes on tram 1. I'd also recommend The Rambler brasserie which is close to the hotel which has an excellent menu, great staff and a lovely ambience and location. It was all wonderful.

The reception staff is very helpfull, polite and friendly (both girl and boy). The hotel is recently renovated as it seems, so the rooms are very nice and well equiped. The hotel is also 3 min. walk to the station of Gent as well as to the public transportation which can easily take you to Gent centre in 5-7 min. I could recomend this hotel. The sign on the outer side of the hotel, are old-fashioned one and do not give the right impression. The interior of the hotel deserves a very much road sign! The towels in the shower had a strange smell as of moisture!

The staff is really helpful and friendly without being too intrusive. Fresh orange juice on the breakfast bar, decent coffee. Quiet rooms, despite being conveniently close to station. Close to a park (jogging). Very comfortable boxspring beds. Good, free Wifi. For me, great value. The rooms, while quite comfy and luxurious, and obviously partially renovated, include some fixtures which are showing age (bathroom taps), but this is absolutely nothing compared to the general quality and comfort of the hotel.

People who run the Hollywood, brothers I believe, are really friendly and helpful and went of their way to provide a good service. Breakfast is very good (eg. Eggs cooked to order). Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Free, easy access, wifi. 200 metres from St Pieters station and trams to town centre (or 20 minute walk to town).Excellent value for money.

The staff/owners were fantastic, could not be more helpfull. The location near the station and restaurants was great. An easy walk, or tram ride, to the centre of Ghent which is stunning city, the best one by far of many I visited in Belgium, just as good as Brugges without the masses of tourists and tourist traps. Very nice breakfasts. There was nothing I did not like about this hotel.

The hotel is situated about 300m from the Sint Pieters railway station entrance, making it convenient when arriving later in the evening as I did. It is not that close to teh historic centre of Gent, but the tram and bus system allow you to easily and cheaply move around the city - there is a main tram/bus stop directly outside the station entrance. There are a number of restaurants and bars close by in the station square (200m) since the hotel does not provide evening meals I found the room rather dark for working in the evening, and there was some street noise, although this was not a big problem to me.

This small, but comfortable hotel is located very close to the main train station, which was exactly what we wanted, but was quite quiet. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way in helping us plan how to get where we wanted to go. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff offered to prepare eggs however we wanted. A very pleasant stay! Nothing at all to complain about.

The personnel was extremely friendly and made you feel at home the minute you walked into the hotel; an experience you do not have very often nowadays. A big plus were the insider- and sightseeing tips you received from the owners. Everybody working there was very courteous and they all spoke excellent English! The breakfast was excellent, simply delicious and freshly prepared for the guests, with a huge buffet to choose from. The little enclosed parking garage available was also a big plus - in a foreign city, you feel much safer not having to leave your car on the road.

Good position near the station, but only a tram ride away from the centre. Very efficient and helpful owners. Lovely breakfast, very well presented, with good choice of food. Spacious room, with large comfortable bed. Tea, coffee, and water provided in the room.
