Good central location, you could walk, even with cases, from the Brussels Central Station and then lots of sights, restaurants were all easy walking distance. Trains in Belgium are great, especially for seniors, 6 Euros day return anywhere in the country. Great restaurants, not as expensive as we'd expected. We went to see Christmas markets and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Everybody, but everybody, speaks excellent English. We saw the recently released Hobbit part 3 at a local movie theatre in English same price as at home. We would go again.
Room and bathroom very small but considering what we paid, around $80 per night, I really shouldn't complain.
Location excellent for exploring grand Place and christmas market
Location is very accessible Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly. Breakfast had a great selection. Its a great hotel to base yourself in.
Bathroom wall is frosted glass, so you want to be very comfortable with whoever your travelling with.
nothing except lack of iron in the room
Lazy Sundays - Buffet breakfast was good value and could have as much as you wanted. Breakfast served till 12. Told on arrival because check out day was a Sunday if we wanted to check out at 5pm just tell them for no extra charge and they would keep our luggage for us. Excellent location - Walking distance for the shops and Christmas Markets and the train station. Staff where helpful and polite.
We didn't like traffic noise but was to be expected because of being located on a main street but if the hotel had double glazed windows it would block out some of the noise. The room was cold and it took a while to heat up. Powder milk in the room - but when I went to get milk from reception they gave me some. No instructions how to use the TV. No extra toilet roll in bathroom.
Great hotel to stay.
The head of reception ruins your mood, really. Never had so many problems checking in and out. And also: having to pay an additional fee for an early check-in is something to expect in more dodgy places than NH Hotels...
Loved this hotel, location was fantastic, 5 mins walk to the train station and to the centre. The room was gorgeous, bed was extremely comfy. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Brussels.
- comfy bed and cleanliness - helpful staffs - great location, only 300 meters from the Central Train Station - short walking distance to the Grand Place Square and restaurant area
- the room rate is quite high
Great location! Friendly helpful staff!
Tiny rooms, the hotel a bit old, a bit loud, reconstruction going at the same time you are in the room.
A well located, good all round hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We hope to stay again the next time we're in Brussels.
Underground car park is 'challenging' and definitely not for an inexperienced driver. That said, we managed to get a 5m long car in and out without damaging it.
Staff exceptional very helpful. Breakfast also excellent good choice. Unfortunately no proper bar over the weekend we stayed but there was a self service honesty bar which was ok
When I did my booking nobody tell me about the City Tax which was added to the room fee of 9,72 % and I'm not sure what I'll think about the Early Check-in of 6 EUR ?
NH is a predictable brand proposition. Modern. Functional. Reasonably priced.
Poorly maintained snack facilities in reception. Staff couldn't produce a bottle of red wine (small or big) at 10.30pm. None available on snack facility in reception. Staff not that pro-active.
Location is good and staff have been very helpful.
The room was tiny and bathroom was outdated and not very clean. Even towels have seen better times when they used to be white... 1st floor room, with window view to a tiny patio with some sort of transformator that was making noise all night... I felt more like in a hostel
Modern comfy room with cute balcony and nice shower. Breakfast and location was excellent
Nothing to report
The laminate floors made it very noisy, you could hear everything from room next door. Otherwise all was good and location is really excellent.
We were surprised at how nice the hotel was given the price and the breakfast was great.
Beds weren't very comfortable, the staff was unfriendly, and had the "I'm doing you a favor by helping you" attitude.
location is good
price is really expensive
Perfect location! Very close to Grand Place and the main sights.
Thin walls: other guests in the hotel were very loud at night and in the morning, and you could hear everything! Bathroom: even though it was mainly opal glass the glass wall into the bedroom doesn't leave much privacy in the bathroom...
the hotel was close to my destination for business trip and after work it was easy to walk to the Grand Place. And very nice breakfast you serve
- Temperature of room (too cold). - There wasn't any Portuguese TV Channel.
The location in the city centre is excellent for tourist visit and a stroll to the Grand Place and other attractions of Brussels in the centre. staff is friendly and helpful, the room clean. Breakfast buffet is rich and full of variety. For a tourist with some time to enjoy, it would be worth the money.
The hotel has some age and the floor carpet is full of stains and signs of usage. My room was booked as a double but by far too small for two as is the bathroom. The garage is not connected to the hotel, has no elevator and a porter service was not offered.
Free luggage storage after booking out. Room was good, bed comfy
No ventilation in toilet other than opening window. Welcome pack could have been more informative
I liked this hotel. It's next to the city center. Good receptionists speaking all languages n ready to help anytime. Allowed me to stay till the evening for rather good price on the day of departure. Has air condition in the room number, comfortable bed, made my request of king size bed, room rather small, but for Europe it's normal. All rooms are non-smoking. Didn't take deposit, just made slip of my debit card n took 1euro to check it. It doesn't close for the night. You can ask an adapter on the reception.
Corridor is a bit dirty, but you stay there just for a while. Towels were a bit dirty. They need a repair of the bathroom. Windows of rooms r close to each other.
Quality, breakfast, staff, ambience, good bed, cleanliness, quiet, location 3 minutes from my client
No towel rail near the sink, paying Euro 9 extra for higher speed wifi that wasnt much faster than the free one
