Score from 1143 reviews Very good
Brilliant staff, always willing to help and offer tips about getting around the city. The hotel itself was in an amazing location close to the upmarket shopping district and the Metro. A 20 minute leisurely walk from the main city attractions.
Some rooms a bit noisy
Some reception's staff personel actitude
The location, wifi and the staff were good.
For the value I paid I was expecting a better condition of the facilities. The hotel needs refurbishment! The carpet was worn in the corridor and the floor in my room too.
Room rate not as indicated by booking.com. (They insisted that the rate indicated in the confirmation mail (250 euro including vat) was without tax, and charged me 262 euro (250+vat) instead. Room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelt cigarette when I entered.
Location, nearby comercial area.
The heater wasn't working. I contacted the reception desk, said a technician would check the problem but I never received any feedback. The day after they gave me a portable heater but I had to asked for it...
The smallness of the room on the top floor
- Very good location next to Marnix street - good bathroom and coffee machine in room - "mini"-room !
-"GYM" is not even worth mentioning - VERY noisy from street level (restaurant, cars, police sirens)
The location was convenient for me (of course, it may not be for everyone). A decent hotel with a modern look, quite comfortable.
The (single) room was quite small. WiFi in the room was very slow! The breakfast room was very crowded, you may have to wait to find a place to sit.
The receptionist was friendly and the food in the hotel restaurant good. I stay in this hotel every time in Brussels because of its location (easy walk to Schuman area). There is also a nice EXKI next door for good breakfast and lunch
TV on in the hotel restaurant. Rooms are well furnished but beginning to look a bit tired.
The location of the hotel.
location friendly staff comfort enough capacity in room
breakfast was weak
Someone from the staff entered the room at 10:30am after having knocked only once, and didn't wait for our answer...
The hotel is tired and needs to be renovated. The staff at the reception were not as helpful as expected, I had to wait 25 minutes after my 3pm arrival to get into my room. I had no shower mat and no one brought one when I asked, I had to ask twice. A glass of water was left without being cleaned away for two days.
mostly everything, room, breakfast etc
night security closing of main entrance and interrogation before access
We stayed in Louise which is a fashion forward area, good tram, metro and bike links. Friendly staff nice bathroom and very close to museum's and monuments. Local people were friendly and you must visit the toy store in the mall Le Grande Recre
A little noisey at night and had to travel a bit further out for affordable and varied breakfast, lunch and dinner options
Location,value for money
Wifi and room was small
The location of the hotel is very convenient and one can have a breakfast in nearby cafes and bakeries. It was quiet, sleeping was no problem. Friendly staff. Overall, quite normal.
It is not really, really an NH Hotel. You come to expect some small details from an NH Hotel over years of staying and this one just does not quite cut it. Being a good hotel, it is not a properly NH. If you stayed in NH before, expect a few details to be discouraging.
would have liked a coffee machine (some rooms had)
I needed an Iron - I asked twice and it never arrived . The wifi was poor.
Very noisy fridge in room .Superior room for 3 nights offered one free drink in bar for the 3 nights, hardly superior. Not a very welcoming hotel.
Shower, location and range of juices at breakfast.
No sausage for breakfast policy, poor standard of cleaning in the corridors, bed slid around the room - had to lock wheels yourself and too much furniture in breakfast room so not easy to manoeuvre.
In the standard room, the twin double beds roll apart.
Don't spend your money with this hotel
Basic comfy room, great TV. Nice staff. Close to everything one may need, transport, shops, restos, deli...
Noisy, even though I asked for a quiet room. Minibar not cold, therefore the beer and softdrinks warm. Moldy shower curtain at the bottom. Toilet paper holder did not hold the paper properly and the roll kept falling out. Fake scrambled eggs, tasted like rubber.
