Score from 1512 reviews Good
The atmosphere was nice, good size rooms very clean and the reception area was lovely good pizza place round the corner and close to the metro
Check in wasn't until three which was awkward and the beds too small if you're 6ft1in!
The hotel is well located around some nice restaurants and is not far from the military museum.
The hotel did not have air conditioner
Excellent location, helpful staff, room clean and cozy. Great value for money
This is a clean comfortable functional hotel ideal for a short break. Hotel staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.
The breakfast is far too expensive at €15
The room is big and very comfortable with a nice view of the city.
Prime location if you want to be near European Commission premises Value for money compared to other hotels in Brussels and nearby
Poor wi-fi access; only one device was permitted to login into the network per each room Expensive and poor breakfast
The hotel is situated very close to a metro station or a bus stop. You can reach the hotel with in 3 minutes walk from nearest metro station or bus stop. Rooms are clean.
I stayed in the hotel on a summer day when the temperature were around 30c. Unfortunately the room I was given doesn't have any air conditioning. It was very hot and humid. Though the staff provided a fan, it was not sufficient to beat the heat. If you are booking during summer times make sure that you book a room which has air conditioning.
The fact that the staff was extremely helpful.
That only person could use WiFi at one given time even though it was a double room.
breakfasts, provided room with view to the garden as requested, WiFi for free, parking for free, heating in bathroom was on during night - pretty good for wet towels, non-smoking hotel, overall clean
Room 408 was somehow strange....cut pipes from heating in bathroom and hidden in the corner of windows, roasted, heating in bathroom full of dirt, rust in bathroom in the corner...but overall clean. Problem is that it's 4* hotel ;-( Also windows are not sound proof, so we heard every airplane, but it's something you can use to.
Great location, close to EU buildings, close to parks, close to Metro and Bus stops Good continental breakfast
Dark room, dark restaurant, dark common spaces No garden or terrace Overrated price
Room not up to 4 stars standard (rusty and bath tab falling apart) , wi-fi not working, expired stuff for breakfast
my room condition was very good. it was so clean.
Wifi didn't work well.
Good location Quiet room
No shops in the area
The breakfast was really bad and expensive.
Quiet accomodation near the European District.
Large and very comfortable bed and lovely bedding/clean. Very good air con. Lovely large separate bathroom/shower and bath.
Did not have sofa, but two good arm chairs. No free coffee Balcony needed some TLC/ seating/table.
kind friendly staff very clean through out large choice of breakfast available very quiet
did not get towels on the second day coffee machine not working no instructions for shower or coffee machine no tourism information
Noise from street
The location near EU institutions.
The prize during the "sea-foor week" was just insane.
This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, very bad quality-price ratio. My room was small and it had many problems: a window handle was broken, the door alarm would go off if you didn't slam the door very strongly, the WC cover was stained, the bathtub drain was slow and after the water drained away an awful smell propagated in the whole room. The staff was totally unprofessional: when I called because the bathtub was missing, the receptions told me she would go and look for a spare one and never came back to me - I found out later she had left after finishing her shift without informing her colleagues. When I complained the director offered me a rate reduction, but all in all it was a very bad experience.
carpet full of stains. creepy insects in room.
Despite the fact that the breakfast was until 12, they stopped at 11:30...
Value for money. Clean, spacious and good service.
Slightly far from the city center, around a 20 mins walk. But this was clear before I booked the hotel.
clean room and kind people, near to metro station
a bit expensive
Horrible hotel, horrible attidute. Will neven stay here again. I paid 220 euros for one night to find out that the room was boiling hot, smell very bad, furniture were old and dirty. Most of all it had no aircondition. After complaining to a very rude and insulting male receptionist, I was given another room with aircondition to find out the following morning that I had to pay extra 30 euros for it! Of course I declined. The manager said that my room of 220 euros (!) was in a category that had no aircondition!! Apparently an air condition is considered an extra amenity! He also claimed that there were no other complaints in the past. After checking the reviews, many people have complained about many things. Including very slow internet. This is not a 4 star hotel but a 2 star the most. This hotel took advantage of the fact that all other hotels were full and inflated the prices. They must educate staff to be professional and polite, and clearly mention that some rooms have no air condition. Rooms such as 404 should not be used until updated. The smell coming from the toilet is horrible. I find it hard to believe that some reviews (with no comments....) give this hotel a 10. If you need to stay at the eu Quarter, check other hotels.
