M-Hotel  

well located, comfortable, nice view on the lake, excellent eating and breakfast, nice staff

I did not like the separation door between my suite and the room next to mine (cigarettes smell + talking noises) + some practical complaints

The location was very good- as it faces beautiful park with large lake. Best location to take a walk or jogging in the morning,also infront of shopping mall.easy access to the city center.(small town!)In addition to this, room size was big enough and comfortable,therefore I would like to ask a little bit more renovation,then become wonderful. Staff(receptionist) was helpful and gave us good suggestion for restaurant/city walk,which was brilliant.Thanks to her, we had really nice dinner in the town. Good value for money after all.

Hotel itself was bit too old and needs to renovate to make it look better. Chairs in the room were bit off,and the room entirely a bit tired,which I did not expect for nh chain hotels. Only one thing to add is, the strong deodrant in the elevator (like fabrise was set)gave us a bit headache..I dont know for what reason they put it in the elevator.

Very impressed with nh Genk Hotel, Our room was wonderful , very clean and comfortable, Location of the hotel was lovely, the lake was beautiful and we Would deffinately come back to this hotel again. We will be recommending this hotel to friends . Many thanks for a wonderful stay Claire hutchings

Location was perfect & our bed was really big & comfy

I didn't get a non-smoking room which I would have prefered (& did request when booking)

Bar closed at 1am just as I returned and was refused a drink. Hardly as if I was a yob im 48 years old

Location, right I'm the heart of the town and close to all shops and restaurants. Stadtcafe nearby excellent for Belgian food. On-site car parking.

Breakfast is far too expensive for a uk-based traveller at €16.00 each! The nearby stadtcafe did a great breakfast (enough for two people) for €9.50. Also no free wifi. A perquisite these days for any traveller, whether on business or pleasure. Overall a satisfactory stay and reception staff good.

45 minutes wait to check out- 1 member of staff just stood and watched whilst one trainee tried her best to deal with the queue.

The food. The restaurant was not good, certainly by Belgian standards. The food seemed pretty industrial, and the service fairly 'lacklustre'.
