We thought the staff were incredibly helpful. The room was quite spacious and even had a mini fridge. Neat and tidy although a little but older property.
We could sometimes hear our neighbours pushing a chair or bed on the floor above. Things were overall a little run down but still tidy and clean.
Very clean. Lovely breakfast, the staff very very helpful.
The Wifi speed was really slow.
Breakfasts were very variable during our stay.
NH Belfort was clean, the staff polite and the location couldn't be better. In the end we were happy to be transferred to Belfort instead.
We were told that we were transferred to another location at our arrival. Good thing though that the prices shown on booking stayed the same.
Very bad hotel. You could hear everything between the rooms. On a busy street. Need upgrading.
The hotel felt very spacious and looked modern and fresh. The bedroom was large and the daily tidy up was done efficiently. We came back to a light, neat space with new toiletries each day. The staff were helpful. It was quiet-little noise from other guests in corridors or from the road made it into the bedroom.
Paying a lot for car parking. But probably it's as usual for a city location?
Staff responded promptly to some initial mix up with the reservation and room condition.
Location; comfort; quiet night sleep; value for money
More of a business hotel
Staff polite and friendly, and room nice and comfortable. Close to railway station.
Nothing I can remember. Ghent is a lovely place to visit. Check it out.
The hotel is located conveniently close to the train station. Free and properly working internet! Quiet and relaxed. Good comfortable bed, clean sheets.
The staff was not very welcoming but they will respond to your requests and questions. A dash of courtesy would be nice though! We asked for a late check out and were told with a snort that it was not possible because the hotel was fully booked. Do your own checks on the trams schedules if you wish to use them (it is extremely convenient). We were advised at the hotel to walk to the train station to take a tram to the centre, but it is not necessary (depending on where in the centre you want to go) check the trams who stop closer to the hotel. Also, it is very nice to walk to the centre and all around the town. The hotel breakfast is NOT outstanding enough to justify the price.
Nice room and facilities, easy 15 min walk to downtown along the canal. Comfortable bed, bathroom needs to be updated, but good water pressure. Good staff
Very helpful staff, and room near the ground floor. Large comfortable room, with TV with more than one English language channel.
WiFi needed help from reception staff for it to work. Bicycle hire mentioned in Booking.com was not available on site.
Very easy to find as we drove from the uk! The hotel was 10 minutes from the train station (we used to go into Brussels) and 20minutes walk from the centre of Gent. All staff were helpful.
No outside bar or leisure facilities.€9 per day for parking was also a little high! Breakfast served until 10am and had a great choice however get there before or around 9am as the hot food was not topped up!any later and you would have missed it.
Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast buffet had good selection, especially breads. Within walking distance to station and Stamm Museum.
Seems a little run down since our stay last year. The lift was faulty and the room furniture was damaged and stained. Coffee to go was not available
Nice, quiet and clean rooms. Very close to public transportation.
Location and bathtub
Close to train station.
Response to water leak in our room.
Rooms are dirty, nothing works in the room, no room service, really smelly rooms, a park bench would be cleaner! Many people was complaining at the desk when I was there. Overall upkeep of the hotel is the lowest we ever see. Clearly a struggling 1 or 2 star hotel pretending to be a 4 star. In the middle of nowhere, the list of things wrong is far to long to list here. Gives the impression they on the brink of closing down. There is nothing 4 star about this hotel, you have been warned!
Location. Spacious rooms.
Paying 9 euro for parking while it is the hotel's private car park. Minibar is practicly empty.
The room was very large with a huge comfortable double bed. The room was at the front of the hotel with large windows and plenty of light. Very close to the rail station.
Bathroom was a bit tired. Trams were a bit noisy. The 15 minute walk to the town centre was more like 30 minutes, although the tram stop was only a couple of minutes away. The breakfast at 17 euro was pricey if you only needed a light snack in the morning - but reasonable value if morning gluttony was required! Not very much around the hotel in the way of cafés and bars.
close to the train station, to the tram that connects with the city center; breakfast quite good, especially the pastry products
i would have expected the room to be a little bit bigger and more chic
Good price and on top af that a free upgrade to a suite. Location within walking distance of Ghent railway station.
Free wifi did not work
Nice big rooms, nice wifi, huge bathroom. good hotel!
Everything was ok.
Nice room with a excellent bed and a good bathroom Helpfull staff (good advice how to come in the city). Parking.
Dust under the bed (it flew away when we openend the window). Poor wifi (third floor). Far away from the centre. It is dark in the hotel.
