The staff was fantastic and made sure our stay was comfortable. They even set us up with a baby cot upon our arrival. The room was large enough to accommodate our family of 5. The location is great! Walking distance to the Grand Palace and major sights. Also, close to the metro.
Close to metro (3 min from Saint Catherine station and 6 minutes from De Brouckere) 12-14 minutes from Grand Place
A nice and different hotel with great people and an excellent breakfast.
The public areas have a nautical feel, very interesting and gives the place character. The room I had was an odd shape, but that didn't detract from the comfort, and everything you could want was either provided in the room, or available from reception. We were given a key to the garage, which is a bit tight, but perfectly adequate, and much better than having to park in the street. The Metro is about 3 minutes walk, and there are some good restaurants in the squares nearby.
It is located in the back streets which are narrow and all one way - and without the use of the garage, parking might be an issue.
Breakfast was good value and lots of choice
Bathroom very small and without enough shelving/hooks Decor a little dated and basic (minibar doubled up as bedside table!)
Well located, friendly and kind staff, very good breakfast, nice decoration and decent room space
A perfect and happy hotel!
The room, breakfast, and staff were all one could ever need. Internet was extra but only 5E for the whole stay. Will stay there again when in Brussels.
The place was nice and neat enough for the price. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.
There was not much sound proofing to the corridor and so when the person in the next room had issues with their door at some unearthly time in the middle of the night, I got to hear all about it.
good location, breakfast is also good
there is no direct way from hotel to parking.
Friendly staff. Excellent location (2 minutes from metro, 15 minutes from Grand Place by foot). Enterieur nice, old-french style (for me).
Include internet and tourist tax in the room price! When I pay more than 100 EUR/night for a room, I don't want to bother with tourist tax (app.3 EUR) or internet fee (5 EUR). It is annoying and stingy. Most hostels (where room is less than 40 EUR/night) have free internet and the tourist tax is included in the price. Enterieur - which is a pro on one side for the atmosphere - is oldish also in the room, where it seems a bit worn.
The atmosphere of the hotel is calm. The location is good and quite. The stuff very helpful and breakfast is reach.
The room was bit small as well as the bathroom. No free internet at the hotel.
A bit disappointed with small room with barely enough room to turn around
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good, just a 10 minute walk to the Grande Place and just a 5 minute walk to some of the better restaurants.
Great location (safe, convenient, central to all sites), very clean, tastefully decorated and extremely helpful staff. This boutique hotel is very well kept and loved by its owners; a definite recommend!
very friendly staff, location is close to the center although not in the very center. There are nice seefood restaurants nearby. A big LCD Sony TV in the room. Breakfast is relatively good.
Door slam and footsteps from neighboring doors are disturbing. ı found it quite discomforting when trying to sleep at night and early in the morning. It is because the noise insulation is not very good. Toilet and bathroom&sink are separated. It is not convenient to have them so separated. It is a rather old building and gives the impression that it is not clean enough.
Staff was terrific, room was great. They thought of all kinds of things a hotel would not normally think of like a outlet strip for plugging in more than one item, a corkscrew and other little conveniences that just help so much. Short walk to the Grand Palace and market, in the historical area. This hotel is like stepping back in time (a good thing) as far as décor, beautiful. They even looked out after us regarding the cab coming to take us to the airport, reminding us that the ride was 38EU and no more as the cab drivers sometimes forget (and ours did, we had to remind him.:) Lovely, lovely stay. Definitely would recommend!
Can't think of a thing. We stayed 2 days the second week of September. Belgium is quite expensive, but the hotel was very reasonable!
Quiet and walking distance to plaza....very nice staff.
Location was good, close to most attractions. Mr. Fredrick was very accommodating and helped with instructions/maps, etc. His assistant Mr. Nofel was very helpful, took good care, took the pain to arrange a Halal breakfast for us (we're Muslims), very efficient and hardworking.
There was just a fan, no airconditioning, I didn't want to pay 14 Euro for portable airconditioner, room walls were thin, everything could be heard from outside and in other rooms, thus not good for couples on romantic get-aways, disturbs privacy.! Room were small.
The location was very good and the manager Mr. Fredrick was accommodating, fixed whatever was not working. His assistant Mr. Nofel was very helpful in every way; he took the trouble to find Halal breakfast for us (we are Muslims) and was very polite, efficient and hardworking. Would stay here again.!
There was no air-conditioning in any of the hotels, since it was not very hot, the fan was enough but if it were any warmer, would be difficult. Check out was at 11 in morning, whereas most hotels and motels allow till 12 at least. Walls were very thin as people could hear whatever was happening in the next room, not good for couples on romantic get-aways, disturbs privacy.
Surroundings The interior of the hotel They had wine glasses ready
I had no parking place
Staff extremely helpful, made us feel at home. Nice breakfast, nice location, out from the busy touristic neighbourhood but still very close to points of interest (a pleasant 10 minutes walk).
Smell of cigarette in the room, could be a bit cleaner.
I have been staying at the Noga for many years and go back whenever I can. Redecorated to keep it clean and fresh, but still with all the character that distinguishes it from all the other bland hotels in Brussels.
Staff are usually firendly and helpful, but a bit less so on this occasion.
Very pleasant and friendly staff, good food and a good nights sleep. Couldn't have asked for more.
Quiet, well-appointed and full of character, best breakfast of any hotel we stayed in over four weeks of travelling, unobtrusive service and easy walking to all the places we wanted to visit including Grote Markt and Cantillon brewery.
